<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>
<Desc/Clms Page number 8>
<Desc/Clms Page number 9>
<Desc/Clms Page number 10>
<Desc/Clms Page number 11>

Device for ceiling formwork
The invention relates to a device for ceiling formwork comprising a support head, which has a support plate movable vertically on a section of tube in the direction of the longitudinal support axis, plate on which a profile contact of a formwork beam can be supported, between the support plate and the contact profile, a first hook structure being then provided which allows a positioning of the contact profile on the support plate by the high, but blocks relative movement in a first horizontal direction, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the formwork beam and also radially with respect to the longitudinal support axis, the first hook structure being designed so as to always be in reciprocal engagement during the uprising,
inside a first measurement, of the contact profile relatively with respect to the support plate.
A device of this type is known, for example, from DE 3,147,081 C2. We call the support head, typically "drooping head" because, in practice to lower, we "drop" the support plate with the formwork beams that support it, about 15 cm after the taken from the concrete ceiling. Thereby, the ceiling formwork is released from the molded concrete ceiling so that the formwork parts can be dismantled. The assembly of the ceiling formwork is carried out, most of the time, "from above", since first of all there is no concrete ceiling yet and therefore access is free.
Therefore, it is necessary that formwork beams or elements of formwork panels can be laid on the support plate, also from above, which determines the type of the hook structure.
Consequently, the known devices have the drawback that a formwork beam can remain stuck to the ceiling of fresh concrete, after the support plate which previously supported it has been lowered. Such a beam of
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
formwork can therefore detach from the ceiling in an uncontrolled manner and in particular injure people.
The object of the invention is to create a device of the type mentioned which reduces, at least in large part, the risk of accidents.
The problem is solved by the fact that at least one locking structure is connected to the support plate, a structure which blocks a lifting of the contact profile relatively with respect to the support plate, beyond the first measurement and which, however, departs flexibly during the vertical positioning of the contact profile on the support plate.
Due to the locking structure, it is ensured that the support plate remains permanently coupled to the formwork beam until they are intentionally separated from each other, therefore either by pushing the device manually locking, either by removing the contact profile from the support plate, in a horizontal direction, which is not "prohibited" by the locking device and the hook structure. During a normal lowering of the support plate, these "permitted" conditions are not fulfilled. Consequently, the support plate actively dismisses the formwork beam from the concrete ceiling, or else it remains raised in the high position with the formwork beam glued to the ceiling. An uncontrolled fall of the formwork beam is excluded in all cases.
However, since the locking structure deviates from above when the contact profile is put in place, assembly can be carried out, without difficulty, as required.
An improvement consists in the fact that there is provided, between the support plate and the contact profile, a second hook structure which blocks, in addition, a horizontal relative movement in a second direction, which extends at right angles to the
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
first direction, the second hook structure being here constituted so as to be released when the contact profile is lifted relatively with respect to the support plate beyond a second measurement which is less than the first measurement and in that the locking structure does not prevent lifting beyond. of this second measurement. This improvement prevents the contact profile inadvertently sliding laterally from the support plate.
But there is, moreover, the assurance that the second hook structure can still be released by a lifting authorized by the locking structure. Thus, it is not necessary to unlock the locking structure, which, due to the spatial conditions, would be difficult.
The locking structure can, in principle, be shaped like a latch bolt for bedroom doors, which allows a smooth engagement, but blocks a separation. For removing the lock, a mechanism similar to a known ratchet mechanism could be provided.
An improvement also provides that the contact profile has a smooth wall oriented towards the locking projection, in which an opening is provided, through which the locking projection reaches, passing through the wall, above the locking surface and in that the locking projection, seen in the direction of sight of the longitudinal support axis, has an arrow shape roughly in a triangle along the first direction for the purpose of forming lateral sliding edges, which, by sliding along the delimiting edges of the opening, push the locking projection out of the opening, by making a relative horizontal movement in a second direction, which extends at right angles to the first direction .
Therefore, the locking projection can be pushed back, just by a movement of movement of the contact profile, in the
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
horizontal direction allowed. It then slides out of the opening in the front wall which, moreover, is smooth.
It is further provided that the pivot axis is oriented horizontally on the side of the tube section and is arranged vertically above the locking projection, the lever then being shaped so that the locking projection is pushed back, by the own weight of the lever, of the tube section in the first direction.
This embodiment provides an "elasticity", without resorting to troublesome springs or other similar members.
The locking system is designed so that in the locking position of the lever with respect to the tube section, the locking projection is arranged at a greater radial distance than the pivot axis of the lever and in that a locking system is provided which prevents a significant tilting towards the outside of the locking projection, beyond the locking position. This locking system prevents the locking projection from jamming with the contact profile, which could be the case in an unfavorable pivoting position. Another configuration ensures, here, a very stable support, by the fact that the lever is constituted by a lever with two arms, the lever arm of which being located above the pivot axis can be applied against the section of tube and forms the blocking system.
It is further provided that the pivot axis is formed by a bolt disposed fixedly relative to the support plate and in that the lever surrounds the bolt only by bearings in half-shells with open edges. In this way, it is avoided that unnecessary material of the lever is located radially outside the pivot axis: it is, therefore, easier to let act a sufficient weight on the face of the lever located at inside of
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
the pivot axis, this weight then tilting the locking projection.
A preferred embodiment resides in the fact that the tube section has, on each side, a bolt and in that two levers are housed there in opposite arrangement in order to form two locking structures oriented towards the diametrically opposite faces of the plate. support. This embodiment takes into account most of the usage requirements, according to which two formwork beams aligned with each other are suspended from a support. In the marginal positions of the concrete ceiling, the support simply forms a fence and only supports a formwork beam.
Various other characteristics of the invention will also emerge from the detailed description which follows.
Embodiments of the subject of the invention are shown, by way of nonlimiting examples, in the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is a partially sectioned side view of a device according to the invention.
FIG. 2 is a partial section seen on line 2-2 of FIG. 1.
Figure 3 is a variant of the locking device shown schematically in the previous figures.
The support head shown in the drawings comprises a flange plate 10 having holes not shown for the attachment of extension tubes illustrated by a tube section 11 arranged perpendicularly and coaxially to a longitudinal support axis 12, which tube is provided with a square upper plate 13, extending at right angles to the tube and a support plate 14 movable vertically. The support plate 14 has a generally square shape with hooked lugs 15
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
upwards projecting from the side of the four faces and which are identical to each other.
A contact profile 18,19 is fixed to the front face of each of the two formwork beams 16,17 diametrically opposite the longitudinal support axis 12.
Due to the concordance of details, only the right part of the figures is described more precisely at first.
The contact profile 18 is constituted by a hollow extruded aluminum profile, having an upper face 20, which is aligned in the formwork position drawn, with the upper plate 13, a wall 21 essentially smooth facing the tube section 11 ( the elbow is of no particular importance here) and a hooked collar 22 oriented downwards, which rests on the vertical and horizontal zones of the lugs 15. Thus it is not possible to remove, from the plate d support 14, the contact profile 18 in the first direction 23 which extends horizontally and in the longitudinal direction of the formwork beam 16. Such a movement would only be possible if the lower edge of the hook flange 22 was raised above the upper edge of the latch 15.
A lifting within a first measurement less than the height of the vertical zone of the latching lug 15 does not allow this first hook structure to be released.
A pin 24 rises upwards from the latch 15 and detachably enters a hole 25 in the hook flange 22. The upper front surface of the pin is at a higher level to that of the horizontal bottom of the latching lug 15, the measurement from which the pin projects, or second measurement, being smaller than the aforementioned first measurement.
In the position shown, the hole 25 forms, with the pin 24, a second attachment structure, which blocks
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
a horizontal lateral displacement of the contact profile 18 in the second direction 26 (FIG. 2), this direction being oriented at right angles to the first direction 23.
Two wall panels 27, 28, parallel to each other, rise vertically upwards from the support plate 14 and between which the tube section 11 is disposed with play.
In FIG. 1, the wall panel 28 is shown in a broken line, and as regards the other wall panel 27, the upper edge is shown in dotted lines, since it is covered by other parts. The two wall panels 27, 28 have, on their upper edges, a recess 29 in the form of a semicircle, in which engages a transverse bolt 30, which is fixed transversely to the section of tube. The transverse bolt 30 thus serves as a vertical stop for determining the maximum position in height of the support plate 14 and of rotary guide so that the support plate 14 is also exactly adjusted as regards the upper plate 13. Thus the front edge of the contact profile 18 can join the upper plate 13 almost without a joint.
Below the transverse bolt 30, other guide rods 31 are welded to the wall of the tube, to orient the rotational position of the upper plate 13 as soon as it is raised.
A horizontal bolt 32, positioned laterally next to the tube section 11, is fixed between the wall panels 27, 28, and forms a pivot axis for a lever with two arms 33. This has two lateral branches 34, 35 located near the wall panels 27, 28 and which extend approximately to the transverse bolt 30, without touching it and are connected by an internal wall 36 along the curvature of the section of tube 11. Recesses with edges open are visible in the side view of Figure 1 in the side branches 34,35, recesses which represent
<Desc / Clms Page number 8>
bearings in half-shells 37, surrounding the bolt 32 on only about half of its periphery.
The lever 33 cannot escape from the bolt 32, towards the tube section 11, because its internal wall 36 prevents such movement due to its proximity to the tube section 11. The lever arm being located below the bolt 32 carries, at its lower end, a locking projection 38, which, having regard to the pivoting articulation of the lever 33, performs a radial movement essentially towards the longitudinal support axis 12.
Continued pivoting, counterclockwise, is prevented by the fact that the lever arm located above the bolt 32, that is to say the inner wall 36 located at this place comes to rest against the tube section 11. On the other hand, pivoting in the clockwise direction is possible in a limited way, due to the bent shape of the internal wall 36 in the region of the lower arm of the sink. In this case, the distribution of the material of the lever 33 is chosen so that it can tilt under its own weight in the shown locking position.
The wall 21 of the contact profile 18 has, as shown, an opening 39, in which the locking projection 38 engages independently. Its approximately horizontal lower face is at a third measurement above a locking surface 40 oriented horizontally of the contact profile 18. In the example shown, the opening 39 reaches the face upper of a transverse rib 41. But the locking surface can also be formed by the lower edge of the opening itself.
The third measurement being smaller than the first measurement but larger than the second measurement, the following effects result.
When the backing plate 14 is released, so

known, by unlocking the clamping ring 42 and, when the formwork beam 16 adheres to the ceiling, the support plate 14 thus lowers only by the third measurement, because the locking projection 38 then rests on the surface locking 40. As a result, the locking projection 38 is struck, on the right on the side of the bolt 32, by a vertical component of force which produces, due to its tangential direction relative to the pivot axis of the lever 33, a torque rotating counterclockwise. As a result, the upper zone of the internal wall 36 is applied against the tube section 11 by blocking it.
Another alternative or an additional blockage is caused by a perpendicular rib 43 on the lever 33 and which is disposed below the locking projection 38. The outer edge of the rib 43 is, in fact, supported by the pivoting movement of the lever 33 against the wall 21 of the contact profile 18 and therefore attempts to push the contact profile 18 in the first direction 23, which is prevented due to the first hook structure 15/22. Thus the continued pivoting of the lever 33 is at the same time blocked.
In the engagement position, indicated above, of the locking projection 38, the hook flange 22 remains trapped behind the vertical part of the hooking lug 15 and thus the contact profile 18 remains fixed to the support plate. 14.
If the formwork beam 16 must then detach from the ceiling, it always remains fixed on the support plate 14 and only drives it downwards over the normal authorized lowering stroke of the support plate 14, by example 15 cm. To then unhook the formwork beam 16 voluntarily, it must be lifted from the second measurement, so that the hook flange 22 arrives above the pin 24, this movement not being hampered by the projection

Lock 38. This state is shown in the example of the contact profile 19, although incorrectly, insofar as the support plate 14 is shown in its upper formwork position.
In this slightly raised position of the formwork beam 17 (16). the contact profile 19 (18) can be pushed to the side in the second direction 26. Due to its arrow shape, the locking projection 38 is then pushed out of the opening 39, by the fact that one of its lateral sliding edges 44 slides against the lateral delimiting edge 45 of the opening 39, in the manner of a key.
The installation of the formwork beam can be carried out in the opposite horizontal movement direction, each sliding edge 44 then sliding against the external edge of the wall 21. As soon as the contact profile comes into the correct position, the locking projection 38 pivots in opening 39. But the formwork beam can also be put in place from above in a vertical movement, the hook flange 22 then striking, from above, the locking projection 38 which, from this fact deviates inward by pivoting and does not interfere with the process.
In the previous embodiment, there are provided, on the two diametrically opposite faces of the support plate 14, locking structures. This leaves enough room for the levers so that they can be shaped according to the weight, to pivot independently. Normally, two locking structures are also sufficient, because most of the time it is necessary to support only two main formwork beams aligned. However, it is also possible to design the locking structures more in the manner of precision mechanics, for example a spring lock 46, as shown schematically in FIG.

leveraging is however better suited to the harsh conditions of construction use.
The contact profile 18 can also be, as in the case of DE 3 147 081 C2, a simple front plate, the edge of which projects directly downwards represents the "flange" with hooks, because the elbow drawn in the example of present embodiment, in relation to the present invention, other advantages, however not essential.
The expression contact profile therefore designates all the profiles encountered for formwork beams or formwork elements which allow attachment by attachment to the support plate.
