Receptacle, in particular for cosmetic product

The present invention relates to a receptacle, in particular for a cosmetic product, comprising a body for receiving said product and a lid articulated on said body.

A large number of such receptacles are known in which the articulation of the cover on the body is carried out by a generally metallic axis.

In particular, a packaging container is known which comprises a body and a lid comprising elastic tabs and defining a deformable slot. Said container further comprises a hinge element connected to the body and rotatably received at the deformable slot to pivotally couple the lid with the body. The hinge pin and the deformable slot are mutually shaped to give the user the impression of resistance when rotating the lid. This gives the receptacle a quality appearance as opposed to a receptacle in which the rotation of the lid would be too easy, giving the impression of a fragile or low-end object.

Although satisfactory, such a receptacle still has drawbacks, in particular in that the impression of resistance offered during the rotation of the lid is not constant.

Also, one of the aims of the present invention is to provide a receptacle making it possible to at least partially overcome the drawbacks mentioned above.

These aims, as well as others which will appear subsequently, are achieved by a receptacle for a product, in particular a cosmetic product comprising, on the one hand, a body for receiving said product, and, on the other hand, a lid, as well only means of articulation to allow the pivoting of the cover relative to said body around a hinge axis between a closed position and an open position of the receptacle, said receptacle further comprising locking means for holding the cover in position between said closed and open positions.

Preferably, the locking means comprise a lug positioned on one of the body or the lid, said lug being configured to be in friction against a wall of the other of the body or of the lid between said closed and open positions.

The locking means for holding the cover in position between said closed and open positions make it possible to create a brake between the cover and the body during the rotation of the cover relative to the body, which makes it possible to have the qualitative aspect mentioned more high. In addition, providing such locking means separately from the hinge means facilitates obtaining an impression of resistance during the rotation of the cover which is more constant throughout the movement.

As can be seen in particular in Figure 1, the invention relates to a receptacle for a product, in particular for a cosmetic product. These are, for example, products that may be in the form of a cream, cream-compact, compressed powder, liquid, or other.

Said receptacle comprises, on the one hand, a body 1 for receiving said product, and, on the other hand, a cover 3 as well as means for articulating said cover relative to said body between a closed position and an open position of the receptacle. . In Figure 1, the cover 3 occupies the open position by being here rotated 180 ° relative to the closed position. An axis of articulation of the cover 3 with respect to the body 1 is illustrated X and the cover 3 is configured to pivot around the axis X according to the arrow marked 15.

Body 1 comprises, for example, a first part 20 (FIG. 3) provided with at least one cavity 22 intended to accommodate a cup containing said cosmetic product. Said body 1 further comprises a second part 24 dressing the first part 20. Said body 1 further comprises, in particular, a flap 26, hinged on said second part 20 to access the cavity 22. To reach the product, when the lid 3 is open, said flap 26 is here provided with a slot 28.

The cover 3 comprises, for example, a window 30 allowing a mirror and/or a transparent element to be displayed allowing the product to be viewed through the cover. The lid 3 further comprises, in particular, a hook 34 allowing it to be locked on said body 1, in particular on the second part 20.

As illustrated in Figures 2 and 3, the receptacle advantageously comprises a block 4. By this is meant a non-deformable and relatively massive part. The articulation means consist of a pair of male elements, 5a and 5b, and a pair of hollow parts, 4a and 4b, cooperating respectively with said male elements 5a and 5b. Said hollow parts 4a and 4b are located on block 4, which makes it possible to reinforce the means of articulation. For their part, the male elements 5a and 5b are located on said body 1 or said cover 3.

As will be understood by those skilled in the art, the male elements 5a and 5b and the hollow parts 4a and 4b are advantageously aligned and constitute a virtual axis of rotation of the cover 3 on the body 1. According to this embodiment of the invention, an articulation of the lid 3 relative to the body 1 is made without a hinge, in particular without a metal hinge. Such an embodiment thus makes it possible to limit the number of parts to be used in the receptacle. In addition, the solid block 4 provides rigidity and limits the risks of material creep.

Here, said block 4 is located on cover 3 and said male elements 5a and 5b are therefore located on said body 1, in particular the first part 20 of body 1. This facilitates demolding of the parts.

More specifically, according to the illustrated embodiment, said body 1 comprises a clearance 2 accommodating said block 4. Said clearance 2 is located, for example, at an edge 1a of said body 1. The male elements 5a and 5b are arranged , for example, facing each other on two opposite walls of said recess 2.

Said block 4 is arranged on a face of cover 3 intended to be located opposite body 1, called inner face 3a, when the cover is in the closed position. Said block 4 comprises, for example, two flanks, coming from the inner face 3a. Said sides are connected by a central part, here cylindrical. Said hollow parts 4a and 4b are advantageously arranged facing each other on two opposite walls of said block 4, in particular through said sides and in the cylindrical central part.

The male elements consist of nipples, 5a and 5b. Said studs 5a, 5b are advantageously of circular section as well as the hollow parts 4a, 4b.

Said studs are each carried, for example, by an elastic strip, 6a and 6b respectively, constituting the opposite walls of clearance 2 and one end of which is free. This is particularly the end facing down in the figures. Said free end is here located opposite a bottom of the second part 24 of the body 1. The slats 6a, 6b are favorable for creep aspects.

The block 4 of the lid 3 is preferably introduced by force into the recess 2 so that the slats 6a and 6b move apart to allow the studs 5a and 5b to slide along the corresponding surface of this block 4 until the moment where these penetrate into the corresponding hollow parts 4a and 4b thereby causing the slats 6a and 6b to return to their initial vertical position.

In other words, the male elements 5a and 5b are configured to be housed by embedding in the hollow parts 4a and 4b, advantageously reversibly. Still in other words, the spacing of the male elements 5a and 5b allowing the mounting of the cover 3 on the body 1 takes place in a direction substantially oriented along the axis of articulation X.

As illustrated in Figure 4, in order to limit the spacing of the slats 6a and 6b, the body 1 preferably comprises stops 7a and 7b respectively which are located behind these slats 6a and 6b. For example, these stops 7a and 7b can be arranged in a groove 8 that the body 1 has, here the first part 20 of the body 1, in particular at the level of the edge 1a of the said body 1.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, the hollow parts 4a and 4b are constituted by the orifices of a channel 9 passing through the block 4 along the axis of rotation of the cover 2 on the body 1. The virtual axis of rotation X passes through said channel 9 of which it constitutes a longitudinal axis.

As illustrated in Figures 5 and 6, according to the invention, said receptacle further comprises locking means for holding the cover 3 in position between said closed and open positions. Said blocking means thus form a brake between the body 1 and the lid 3 to give an impression of resistance during the opening/closing movement of the lid 3.

The locking means comprise, for example, lugs 12a, 12b, positioned here on the cover 3. Said lugs 12a, 12b are located in particular on said block 4, in particular at the level of the hollow parts 4a, 4b. Said lugs 12a, 12b are configured to be in friction against a wall of body 1, in particular at said slats 6a and 6b, this between said closed and open positions, to provide the braking function mentioned above. Alternatively, the lug 12a, 12b is on the body 1 and the wall on which the lug is mobile in friction is on the cover 3, in particular the block 4.

Preferably, the receptacle comprises housings 10a, 10b; 11a, 11b which cooperate respectively, without constraint, with said lugs 12a, 12b so as to form a locking notch in a certain position of the cover, in particular in the closed position and in the fully open position, here at 180°. Said housings make it possible to avoid excessive creep and facilitate handling of the cover 3 close to the closed and fully open positions.

In the example illustrated, each slat 6a, 6b comprises on either side of studs 5a, 5b one of said housings 10a, 10b; 11a, 11b. Here, said housings 10a, 10b; 11a, 11b are formed by a groove 10a and 11a, the apex of which is located towards the free end of the corresponding strip. Each pair of grooves 10a and 11a cooperates with a lug 12a respectively carried by block 4.

Thus when the lid 3 is in the fully open position, that is to say forming a substantially flat angle with the body 1, the lugs 12a are in abutment in the respective grooves 10a, thereby preventing a greater opening of the lid 3. When the lid 3 is closed on the body 1, the lugs 12a describe a curve passing above the corresponding stud 5a to leave the groove 10a to come into abutment in the other groove 11a. This allows a snap-in effect in the closed position. As indicated above, when they pass over the corresponding stud, the lugs are in friction against the wall from which the stud comes.

Advantageously, said body 1, in particular said part of body 1 comprising part of the articulation means, here the first part 20 which comprises the male elements 5a and 5b, and said cover 3 are made of plastic material. In addition, the articulation means and/or the blocking means are made from the material of said body 1 and of said cover 3. In the example illustrated, the male elements 5a and 5b and the block 4, in particular the lugs 12a, 12b , are made of plastic and respectively come from the body 1 and the cover 3.

More generally, the body 1 and the cover 3 each have at least one pin/lug 5a, 5b, 12a, 12b and a hole/housing 4a, 4b, 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b cooperating with each other in a closed position and an open position of the receptacle. In other words, the pin(s) 5a, 5b are configured to cooperate with one or more holes 4a, 4b provided axially facing each other for the articulation of the cover 3 on the body 1, whether the said pin(s) are provided or not at the level of slats and whether or not said hole is formed in a solid block. In addition, the lug(s) 12a, 12b are configured to cooperate with the housing(s) 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b for blocking the cover in the closed and/or open position of the receptacle, whether the lug(s) are provided or not. at the level of a solid block and whether or not the housings are provided at the level of the slats. Advantageously, the said pin(s) 5a, 5b and the said housing(s) 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b are located at the same first surface and the said hole(s) 4a, 4b and the said lug(s) 12a, 12b are located at the same first surface. level of a second surface located opposite the first surface.

With the invention, in particular with the illustrated embodiment, there is an articulation without an attached hinge, having a constant braking effect during the rotation of the lid and limiting the risks due to the creep of material. The receptacle thus benefits from a high degree of recyclability as well as a strong qualitative aspect.
