Abstract

L’invention concerne un pare-chocs (3) avant comportant un élément de carénage frontal prolongé latéralement sur chaque côté latéral par un élément de carénage latéral (9), chaque élément de carénage latéral (9) présentant un bord arrière (10) distant de l’élément de carénage frontal et destiné à collaborer avec un bord avant d’une aile latérale (4) de véhicule automobile. L’élément de carénage latéral (9) comporte un rebord intérieur d’appui (15) destiné à collaborer avec un joint associé à un capot (2) avant de véhicule automobile. L’élément de carénage latéral (9) comporte le bord arrière (10) d’où, conformément à l’invention, une languette (11) s’étend en saillie. Ladite languette (11) est dans le prolongement du rebord intérieur d’appui (15) de l’élément de carénage latéral (9) de sorte à augmenter la portée d’appui du rebord intérieur d’appui (15).
