Abstract

Accessory to dress the tie knot. The invention relates to a device for customizing tie knots in an original and rapid manner. It consists of a decorative main front (1) with a hook on its back (2) which hooks onto the top of the tie knot. Two fixed walls (3) and (4) slightly flexible come to tighten at the tie knot, followed by two other movable walls (5) and (6) which, by a pressure system orchestrated by springs, exert pressure on the back of the tie knot to hold the accessory to the knot. The device according to the invention is intended for all types of tie, regardless of the knot and its size. Figure for the abstract: Fig. 1 Annex:

Jewel for tie knot

Presentation :

This jewel is a piece that sublimates the tie. When the tie is tied, this piece is hooked, by a hook system gripping at the top of the knot, then by two dorsal walls tightening at the back of the knot to secure the holding of this accessory to the tie. This both hides the knot and decorates it.

This jewel is added to several accessories designed to adorn the tie: the clip, the pin, the collar tips.

This accessory is made up of 6 parts (the diagrams can be found in the appendix):

• A hook (1) that hangs on the top of the tie
• A decorative face affixing in front of the tie knot (2)
• Two fixed flaps (3) + (4) on the back of the jewel, are slightly flexible to contain a tie knot of any thickness within them and are configured to close according to pressure from the user.
• Two movable flaps, on the fixed flaps, on the back of the jewel tightening the tie knot on the main face, from the back (5) + (6).

This accessory is used as follows: once the tie knot has been made, our decorative piece adorns the tie by hanging by the hook (1) at the top of the tie knot, the hook being made from top to bottom, and securing this hook so that the accessory does not move, by folding down the two flaps (5) and (6) on the back of the knot of the tie, so as to hold this accessory firmly to the tie, leaving the walls (5) and (6) close on the node at the rear.

The fixed flaps (3) and (4) are slightly flexible to adapt to any thickness of tie knot.

The movable flaps (5) and (6) are hinged to the fixed flaps by springs and exert pressure on the back of the tie knot. This closure on the tie knot imitates the spring system that a hair clip has: you have to exert pressure to open this clip, and its system allows it to remain closed when at rest. To secure the accessory to the tie knot, you must open the flaps (5) and (6), and let them close on the tie knot.

This accessory should exist in several sizes, according to the different types of existing knots, varying the thickness of these knots; at least two sizes should exist for thin ties and thicker ties. Thus, this jewel should measure between 4 and 6 cm in height and 4 to 5 cm in width, and its thickness, depending on the knot of the tie, would vary between 3 and 4 cm. The material recommended for the realization of this accessory is metal.

Accessory for decorating the tie knot characterized in that it comprises a main face (2) having a hook (1) and two movable flaps (5) and (6) exerting pressure on the back of the tie knot, and two fixed flaps (3) and (4) to which the two movable flaps are attached. Accessory according to Claim 1, characterized in that the hook (1) is configured to form an upper grip on the tie knot. Accessory according to Claim 1, characterized in that the two fixed flaps (3) and (4) are slightly flexible to contain a tie knot of any thickness within them and are configured to close under pressure from the user. Accessory according to Claim 1 or Claim 3, characterized in that it comprises a spring system attached to the fixed flaps (3) and (4) to secure the holding of the accessory to the tie knot, and to allow the two flaps movable (5) and (6) to exert pressure on the back of the tie knot.
