Claims (7)

  1. A device for hanging an article (1a, 1b), in particular a pair of gloves, a pair of hosiery articles, or a cap, from the rod (2) of a display, the device being substantially in the form of a clip and comprising:
    · two pivotally-hinged branches (3, 4) presenting two jaws (8, 9);
    · a return element (5);
    · a hanger element (6, 7) including a curved extension (10) suitable for acting as a hanger hook; and
    · at least one through hole (11) suitable for fastening a fastener tie (12) of the article (1a, 1b) clamped between the two jaws (8, 9) and/or a fastener tie (13) of an information medium (14);
    the device being characterized in that the two branches (3, 4) are pivotally hinged about the return element (5), said return element (5) defining firstly on top two actuator arms (6, 7), at least one of which constitutes the hanger element (6, 7), and secondly underneath said two jaws (8, 9).
  2. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that the return element (5) is a spring, preferably of the leaf spring type.
  3. A device according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the pivot angle of the two jaws (8, 9) is greater than or equal to 15°.
  4. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that at least one of the two branches (3, 4) is a part made of plastics material and/or as a single piece.
  5. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the branch (3) including the curved extension (10) suitable for acting as a hanger hook is substantially plane.
  6. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, the article (1a, 1b) being a pair of hosiery articles, each including at least one edge (15a, 16a, 15b, 16b), the device being characterized in that the fastener tie (12) of the hosiery articles (1a, 1b) clamped between the two jaws (8, 9) passes through only one of said edges (16a, 15b) of each of said articles (1a, 1b).
  7. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the through hole (11) suitable for passing a fastener tie (12) of the article (1a, 1b) clamped between the two jaws (8, 9) and/or a fastener tie (13) of an information medium (14) is situated on one of the two jaws (8, 9).
