Abstract

The collar includes a lyre shaped component made of elastic material. The base and lower parts of the two sides have inwardly projecting tabs which are intended to wrap around a stem or pipe, accommodating a range of diameters by their flexibility. Both sides extend upwards into hooks with circular openings inside the hooks. Once the lower part of the collar has been attached e.g. to a stem, the two hooks may be fitted over a wire and will then close to grip it. Other variations may include one supporting hook, and one hook to ensure the closure of the collar.
