Abstract

The spring clip (4) is designed to fasten a vertical rod or a plant stem to a horizontal wire (3). A first bend near the first straight end (5) of the clip is connected by a second straight portion (6) to a second bend which passes round the plant stem or rod (2). A third straight portion (10) is connected via a gentle bend to an elongated straight portion (11) leading to a curved end (13).

Description

Attachment clip for plant stakes.

  The present invention relates to the field of plant cultivation, in particular that of the vine. It relates to the connection of plant stakes to the tensioning wires. In vineyards, the threads stretched along the rows between the anchor stakes installed at the ends of the rows and supported by intermediate stakes, are also connected to plant stakes on which the young plants can push towards the upper tensioning threads (stapling wires). Plant stakes are usually iron rods or rods

  galvanized with a diameter of 5 to 8 mm.

  Figure 3 shows a known fastening clip, provided for such a purpose, shown in top view. An attachment hook 4 of the clip, placed to the left of the plant stake 2, is hooked by its outer branch 5 under the tension wire 1 and a clamping hook 8, placed to the right of the plant stake, is folded elastically constituting the grip and is hooked again by its outer branch 12 under the tension wire 1. All the elbows are located in the same plane when the staple is in

rest position.

  The known fastening clip does not provide a very reliable connection between the tensioning wire and the plant stake. The connection point can slide along the stake and, if a harvesting machine is used,

the clip can even come off.

  The object of the present invention is to improve the known fixing clip, so as to create a more stable connection, which can be stressed more strongly, between the tensioning wire and the stake, connection which remains secure, even in the event of use of a harvesting machine, which can be handled conveniently. The solution to the problem posed is provided by the staple according to the invention, which has a hanging hook, placed to the left of a stake elbow, and a clamping hook, placed to the right of it, in which the inner branch of the hanging hook extends at an angle a of at least 40 relative to the line of the tensioning wire, and a bend is provided at the end of the outer branch of the clamping hook. The invention will be explained in more detail

  below by means of the description of an example of

  realization, using the attached drawings.   means of the known fastening clip.

  The fastening clip according to the invention is made from spring steel wire, preferably with a diameter of 2.4 mm, and is used to connect a tension wire 1, which usually has a diameter of 2, 2 mm,

  to a stake 2, usually a rod with a diameter of 6 mm.

  By observing in top view, on the left of an elbow 3 grabbing the tutor is formed a hook

  4 and, on the right, a clamping hook 8.

  The outer branch 12 of the clamping hook 8

  ends with a short bend 13 oriented upwards.

  When mounting the staple, the outer branch 5 of the hanging hook 4 is hooked under the tensioning wire 1 and the clamping hook 8 is then folded back and down by gripping the stake 2, placed in the elbow in wire 3, so that its outer branch 12 can be placed under the tensioning wire and be released. The total length of the clip is

preferably 90 mm.

  In the embodiment according to the invention, the angle of inclination a of the inner branch 6 of the hooking hook, relative to the line of the tensioning wire in the relaxed state of the staple, is at least minus 40 preferably 45. The notable shortening resulting from the lever arm existing between the stake 2 and the bottom of the hooking hook 4 has the effect of a significantly greater force deployment on the tension wire and, therefore, greater resistance to

  the load and reliability of the link.

  An additional improvement is obtained by the elbow 13 produced at the end of the external branch 12 of the clamping hook 8. The elbow acts as a catching hook with respect to the existing risk, in a vineyard, which a harvesting machine detaches the fastening clip. In addition, the elbow 13 makes the handling of the fastening clip more comfortable, because, during assembly or removal, it is no longer necessary to press on a pointed end but on the contrary there is a short grip surface length for the finger

the worker.

  The inside radius of curvature of the support bend 3 is adapted to the diameter of the support 2. In addition, the internal branch 9 of the clamping hook 8 is bent so that it consists of a section 10 close to the support, steeper, and

  a section 11 remote from the stake, with a more flat slope.

  This arrangement has the consequence of increasing the angle of entanglement of the tutor 2 which also acts in the direction of a greater load capacity and,

  thus, better reliability of the fixing.

  To further increase security against detachment of the fastening clip by a grape harvesting machine, the end of the outer branch 5 of the hooking hook 4 may include a bend 14 as shown in FIG. 1A. In certain cases, the fastening clip can be rotated about an axis parallel to the tensioning wire 1 to such a point that the hooking hook 4 may come off by sliding on the tensioning wire 1. In the embodiment of FIG. 1A, the elbow 14 also acts as a hook for

  capture and avoids the risk of escape by shifting.

Fastening clip for connecting tensioning wires to plant stakes (1), with a hanging hook (4), placed to the left of a stake bend (3), and a clamping hook (8 ), placed to the right of it, characterized in that the inner branch (6) of the hooking hook (4) extends at an angle a of at least 40 relative to the line of the tensioning wire (1 ), and in that an elbow (13) is provided at the end of the outer branch (12) of the hook tightening (8).   2. Fastening clip according to claim 1, characterized in that the inside radius of curvature of the stake elbow (3) corresponds to the diameter of the plant stake and the inside branch (9) of the clamping hook (8) consists of '' a section (10) with a steeper slope, close to the stake, and a section (11) with a flatter slope, distant from the tutor.   3. fastening clip according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that its overall length is 90 mm.   4. Fastening clip according to one or more   of the preceding claims, characterized in   that an elbow (14) is also provided at the end of   the outer branch (5) of the hanging hook (4).
