Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de détection d’une position d’un bras de balai (13) d’essuie-glace sur une vitre (1) équipée d’au moins un fil de chauffage (5), dans lequel : on alimente ledit fil de chauffage (5) avec un courant électrique, on déplace le balai d’essuie-glace (11) selon un mouvement de va-et-vient sur la vitre (1), on détecte par un capteur (19) monté sur le balai (11) ou le bras de balai (13) d’essuie-glace le champ magnétique émis par le fil de chauffage lorsque le capteur (19) passe au cours du mouvement de va-et-vient au niveau d’une portion du fil de chauffage (5), et on déduit une position du bras de balai (13) d’essuie-glace à partir du champ magnétique détecté.
