Abstract
L’invention concerne un absorbeur d’énergie d’un choc de colonne de direction comprenant : - une pièce plastiquement déformable (4) formant une boucle, - une liaison fusible (40) fermant cette boucle sur elle-même, - une première interface de fixation (41) et une deuxième interface de fixation (42) distinctes de la liaison fusible, agencées de part et d’autres de la boucle,la pièce et la liaison fusible étant agencées de manière à ce que l’exercice de forces en des sens opposés respectivement sur la première interface de fixation et sur la deuxième interface de fixation entraine une contrainte tendant à une déformation de la boucle, à une rupture de la liaison fusible, et à une poursuite de la déformation de la boucle après ladite rupture.
