Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de détermination de la fermeté d'un sol sur lequel roule un pneumatique monté sur un véhicule, ledit pneumatique étant muni d'un capteur configuré pour acquérir un signal de mesure représentatif de l'évolution de la courbure du pneumatique lors du roulement sur un sol, comprenant les étapes suivantes : - acquisition par le capteur d'un signal de mesure représentatif de l'évolution de la courbure du pneumatique au cours du roulement, - détermination à partir du signal de mesure de données de mesure comprenant : a) un premier paramètre (KL) représentatif d'une longueur d'une surface de contact avec le sol, et b) un deuxième paramètre (KS) représentatif d'une vitesse de mise à plat du pneumatique lors du contact avec le sol, - détermination de la fermeté du sol en fonction du premier paramètre (KL) et du deuxième paramètre (KS).
