L'invention concerne un dispositif de refroidissement et/ou surgélation de produits, notamment alimentaires, de type tunnel, comprenant : - une enceinte munie d'une entrée et d'une sortie; - des moyens de convoyage des produits (P) entre l'entrée et la sortie ; se caractérisant en ce que : - lesdits moyens de convoyage comprennent plusieurs tapis (T) de convoyage juxtaposés sur la largeur de la section de l'enceinte, le nombre de tapis étant supérieur ou égal à 3, les tapis étant aptes à circuler à l'intérieur du dispositif dans un sens ou l'autre de circulation de manière individuelle ; et en ce que : - le tunnel comprend un système de cales ou obstacles ou « divergeurs» (C) permettant de faire passer des produits d'un tapis à un autre qui lui est adjacent.
