Abstract

Un bras rotatif (1) équipe un siège (2) installé dans l'habitacle (3) d'un véhicule automobile (4) devant une planche de bord (5). Ce bras (1) comprend une première pièce (12) allongée et comportant une première extrémité (14) montée à rotation sur un côté du siège (2) et une seconde extrémité (15), et une seconde pièce (13) solidarisée à cette seconde extrémité (14), définissant un support de document et/ou d'équipement électronique, et logeant un dispositif de protection (17) comprenant un sac (18) gonflable, initialement replié et associé à un déclencheur pyrotechnique (19) qui, lorsqu'il reçoit une commande consécutive à un choc et/ou un freinage alors que la première pièce (12) est dans une position rabattue avec la seconde pièce (13) intercalée entre le siège (2) et la planche de bord (5) et que le siège (2) est translaté et/ou incliné fortement vers l'arrière, gonfle le sac (18) vers le siège (2).
