Abstract

La transmission transforme le mouvement d'aller et retour d'une pédale 8 en rotation d'un arbre de sortie, par un câble 10 fixé directement au levier 1 permettant le mouvement oscillant de la pédale. Ce câble s'enroule sur un cylindre 12 entraînant l'arbre de sortie par une roue libre. A l'aller, la tension du câble provoque la rotation de l'arbre de sortie, et au retour, un rappel élastique permet à la pédale de reprendre sa position d'origine sans faire tourner l'arbre de sortie en sens inverse grâce à la roue libre. Cette transmission très légère, fiable, propre et simple est très efficace parce que le rapport de couple varie peu au cours d'un cycle.
