Abstract
Dispositif destiné à être placé dans un fluide en mouvement pour générer une portance élevée sans apport d'énergie extérieure afin d'assurer la propulsion éolienne d'un navire. L'invention utilise l'effet Magnus sans présenter l'encombrement des voiles, ni les inconvénients mécaniques des cylindres à effet Magnus. Le dispositif comprend un corps (10), définissant une aile, qui s'étend selon un axe longitudinal (XX') composé de pales (11), d'un aileron (12) et de lames (13), il comprend aussi deux corps creux (20), chacun assemblé à une extrémité de l'aile (10) et comportant une première ouverture circulaire (24) située entre les pales (11) et l'aileron (12) et une deuxième ouverture (25) située au niveau du bord d'attaque de l'aile, il comprend enfin des moyens d'orientation et d'inclinaison de l'aile. Le dispositif est particulièrement destiné aux transports maritimes de marchandises et de passagers, et aux navires de pêche.
