La présente invention a pour objet une composition de carburant comprenant : - de 35% à 75% en poids de cyclopentane, - de 10 à 25% en poids d'un ou plusieurs hydrocarbure(s) aromatique(s), et - jusqu'à 60% en poids d'un ou plusieurs alcane(s) ramifié(s) choisi(s) parmi le 2-méthylbutane et les triméthylpentanes, avec un rapport pondéral de la teneur en cyclopentane sur la teneur en hydrocarbure(s) aromatique(s) supérieur ou égal à 2.
