Abstract

L'invention est un procédé pour former un lingot d'alliage d'aluminium (1). Pendant la coulée de l'alliage d'aluminium, un champ magnétique glissant est appliqué au marais et l'amplitude du champ magnétique est variée périodiquement selon une fréquence (f), de façon à appliquer une force de Lorentz (F) en différents points du marais, la force de Lorentz moyenne, durant une période (P), étant inclinée par rapport à l'axe vertical (Z) selon un angle d'inclinaison (?). Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que la vitesse de coulée (V) et la fréquence (f) sont telles que dans toute la zone médiane du marais, au niveau du front, interface entre le marais et l'alliage solidifié, l'angle d'inclinaison de la force est strictement inférieur à l'angle d'inclinaison du front.
