Summary of the invention.

The present invention aims to design a box for take-out meals which is modular and whose design is optimized in order to be able to adapt it as best as possible to the quantity and type of meal such as salads, soups, dishes cooked with or without sauce, or even hamburgers, while limiting the number of pieces constituting said box.

To this end, the invention relates to a box for take-out meals comprising at least a first container, a cover and an intermediate piece, said elements being configured to allow the positioning of the intermediate piece between the first container and the cover so to define a first compartment between the container and the intermediate piece and a second compartment between the intermediate piece and the cover. Preferably, the first compartment is intended to contain at least part of the meal, while the second compartment is intended to receive cutlery and / or a towel. We could however consider accommodating in this second compartment another part of the meal, for example a piece of bread.

In addition, according to the invention, the intermediate piece comprises a peripheral wall configured to fit into the first container and into the cover, a collar arranged around the peripheral wall to come to bear, on one side, on an edge. peripheral of the first container and, on the other, on a peripheral edge of the lid. The intermediate piece also includes a cover configured to close off the peripheral wall. Furthermore, the peripheral wall, the collar and the cover are configured to fit in one direction or the other said intermediate piece in the first container and in the cover by modifying the volume of the first compartment and the volume of the second compartment, according to the direction of nesting. In this way, the user can reverse the direction of the intermediate piece to best adapt the volume of the first compartment to the quantity and type of food he wishes to have in it. For example, when the meal is a substantial dish, requiring a reduced quantity to sustain itself, the user can arrange the intermediate piece so that the first compartment is of smaller volume and, when the meal is a light and ventilated, such as a salad, requiring a larger quantity to sustain, the user can arrange the intermediate piece so that the first compartment is of greater volume.

It is understood that the intermediate piece constitutes a closure system of the first compartment which receives at least part of the food. Thus, the assembly consisting of the intermediate piece fitted on the cover can be likened to a plug designed to receive mainly, inside thereof, cutlery and / or a napkin, said plug being able to be fitted on the first compartment which receives the meal, to close it, and be adapted (according to the direction of the intermediate piece) in order to modify the volume of the first compartment according to the nature of said meal.

According to a first embodiment of the box, the intermediate piece comprises the shape of a second container provided with a bottom constituting said cover and a contour constituting said peripheral wall, the flange being arranged around said contour. This implementation has the advantage of optimizing the difference in volume of the first compartment according to the direction of positioning of the intermediate piece. It is the same for the second compartment. This also makes it possible to fit one into the other the intermediate piece and the first container so as to have the greatest volume for the first compartment and to use said elements fitted one into the other in the inverted position so to constitute a hamburger box, the bottom of the intermediate piece being able to be placed on a support, in particular a table. Preferably, the bottom of the second container, constituting the intermediate piece, includes stabilization pads, which allows it to be placed properly on a support when in use as a hamburger box.

According to a second embodiment of the box, the first container comprises a bottom and a peripheral wall provided with a shoulder arranged near said bottom. This shoulder is configured to allow the bottom of the first container to fit into the cover until it comes to bear against said shoulder, so as to define a third compartment between the first container and the cover. This implementation advantageously makes it possible to reverse the position of the cover to fit it on the bottom of the first container rather than on the intermediate piece and to place the cutlery and / or the napkin in said third compartment. This is in particular of interest in the case of the aforementioned first embodiment where the first container and the intermediate part can constitute a hamburger box. Pay elsewhere, we understand that since the intermediate piece can fit in one direction or the other in the first container and in the lid and that the bottom of the first container can fit in the lid, this will allow also to design a box according to the invention with several first containers and to nest one into the other said first superposed containers.

Preferably, the bottom of the first container includes stabilization pads for placing it properly on a support.

According to this aforementioned second embodiment of the box, said box may additionally comprise at least one third container configured to allow either the nesting of the bottom of the first container until it abuts against the shoulder of the first container, so as to define a fourth compartment between the third container and the first container, or the interlocking in one direction or the other of the intermediate piece until it comes to bear on the collar so as to define a fifth compartment with modifiable volume. This makes it possible to add an additional compartment to the box, if necessary, to separate the foods constituting the meal, for example to place in the first compartment foods in sauce and in the fourth compartment pasta or rice. This also has the advantage of designing at least a first container and at least a third container whose heights are different so that the third container can be used in place of the first container, the intermediate piece fitting, on one side , on a peripheral edge of the third container and, on the other, on the peripheral edge of the lid, which increases the possibilities of modulation of the volume of the compartment (consisting of the first compartment or of the fifth compartment) receiving part or all of the meal.

Preferably, the third container comprises a bottom and a peripheral wall provided with a shoulder arranged near said bottom. This shoulder is configured to allow the nesting of the bottom of the third container, either in the cover until it comes to bear against said shoulder so as to define a sixth compartment between the third container and the cover, or in the first container until coming to bear against said shoulder so as to define a seventh compartment between the third container and the first container. This will advantageously, as before, reverse the position of the cover to fit it on the bottom of the third container rather than on the intermediate piece and come to place the cutlery and / or the napkin in said sixth compartment, which has in particular an advantage in the case where the third container and the intermediate part can constitute a hamburger box, as explained above for the first embodiment between the first container and the intermediate part. This will also make it possible to invert the first container and the third container to best adapt it to the meal while allowing the separation of the foods constituting said meal. Furthermore, it is understood that this will also make it possible to design a box according to the invention with several third containers and to nest said third superimposed containers one inside the other.

Preferably, the bottom of the third container comprises stabilization pads for placing it properly on a support.

According to a fourth embodiment of the box, the cover comprises at least one notch. This notch will facilitate the release of the cover. In this case, the cover will have the particular function of constituting a compartment (the second, the third or the sixth) intended to receive cutlery and / or a napkin.

According to a fifth embodiment of the box, it comprises a polygonal shape, preferably a hexagonal shape. In other words, the peripheral walls of the first container, the intermediate piece, the lid and the third container have a polygonal shape, preferably hexagonal. This will make it easier to store the boxes next to each other by reducing their size. This hexagonal shape also provides suitable stability during transport and allows proper cleaning of the box after use. However, it is possible to envisage other shapes, for example cylindrical or oval, without departing from the scope of the invention.

According to a sixth embodiment of the box, it is designed based on a biobased material, that is to say is entirely made from materials derived from biomass of plant origin. One can however consider designing the box in other materials, for example in a plastic material.

Of course, the box according to the invention can combine the various variants mentioned above.

According to the invention, the box includes a system for holding its elements nested one inside the other. By its elements is meant the cover, the intermediate piece, at least one first container and / or at least one second container.

According to the invention, the box comprises sealing means arranged between at least the intermediate piece and the first container. Preferably, these sealing means are arranged between the intermediate piece, the first container and the second container, when the latter is present on the box. In the following description, the box for take-out meals is called a “box”, unless otherwise indicated. In addition, the same references are used to designate the different embodiments of the box or one of its characteristics.

In Figures 1 and 10, the box 1 consists of four elements, namely: a cover

2, an intermediate part 3, a first container 4 and a second container 5. The modularity of the box 1 nevertheless makes it possible to transform it; this box 1 can for example be limited to the cover 2, to the intermediate piece 3 and to the first container 4, as illustrated in FIG. 2. It can also be envisaged, as a variant, not illustrated, that the box 1 is composed only of the cover 2, the intermediate piece 3 and the second container 5.

As illustrated in FIG. 6, the cover 2 comprises a peripheral wall 20 of hexagonal shape, delimited by a peripheral edge 21. Two notches 22, 23 are arranged symmetrically on the peripheral wall 20 and open onto the peripheral edge 21 The cover 2 also includes a bottom 24.

The peripheral wall 31 of the intermediate piece 3 fits perfectly into the peripheral wall 20 of the cover 2, until the peripheral edge 21 of the cover 2 abuts against the flange 33 of the intermediate piece 3, as the show in particular Figures 3 and 10.

As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 10, the shoulder 43 of the first container 4 is dimensioned to allow the bottom 40 of said first container 4 to be fitted into the second container 5, until said shoulder 43 comes into abutment against the peripheral edge 52 of the second container 5. In this configuration, the box 1 has a third compartment 8 between the first container 4 and the second container 5.

The two containers 4, 5 being of identical design, with the exception of their heights, it is possible to modify the configuration of the box 1 by reversing the positions of these two containers 4.5. Thus, the intermediate piece 3 would fit into the second container 5 until the flange 33 abuts against the peripheral edge 52 of the second container 5. Likewise, the bottom 50 of the second container 5 would come to fit in the first container 4, until the shoulder 53 of the second container 5 abuts against the peripheral edge 42 of the first container 4. In this configuration, not illustrated, the box 1 would define a fourth compartment between the intermediate piece 3 and the second container 5, the volume of which could change depending on the direction of positioning of said intermediate piece 3, as described above between said intermediate piece 3 and the first container 4. Similarly, the box 1 would define a fifth compartment between the second container 5 and the first container 4, the positions of which would be reversed in comparison with those in FIGS. 1 and 10.

The notches 22, 23 on the cover 2 facilitate the withdrawal of the latter, from the intermediate piece 3. In the configuration illustrated in Figures 1 and 10, the first compartment 6 and the third compartment 8 each allow the reception of part of a meal, while the second compartment 7 allows the reception of cutlery and / or a napkin .

This preferred design of the box 1 offers numerous possibilities for modulation; according to another configuration of use, illustrated in FIG. 9, one can simply use the intermediate piece 3 in a position as illustrated in FIG. 7 and fit the first container 4 in the inverted position, which makes it possible to constitute a box 1 allowing to receive a hamburger. The same configuration would be possible with the second container 5 in the inverted position, instead of the first container 4. According to this configuration in FIG. 9, it is also possible to envisage fitting the cover 2, either below the intermediate part 3, either above the first container 4, to form a compartment for receiving cutlery and / or a napkin (not shown). Likewise in the case of the second container 5 in place of the first container 4.

The hexagonal shape of the box 1 makes it possible to reduce its bulk in the storage position, the boxes thus being able to be positioned one next to the other by forming a honeycomb structure. This hexagonal shape also provides suitable stability for the box 1 during transport and allows it to be easily cleaned after use. However, the box 1 can be designed using other polygonal shapes or even a cylindrical shape or an oval shape.

The box 1 is preferably made entirely from a bio-based material, for ecological reasons. In addition, the use of such a material makes it possible to wash and reuse the box 1, the purpose of which is to be an alternative to boxes for disposable take-out meals. A plastic material could however be envisaged, without departing from the scope of the invention.

The design of the intermediate piece 3 as described above offers numerous possibilities for modulation, and in particular its use as a hamburger box in the configuration of FIG. 9, as explained above. One could however consider modifying this intermediate piece 3. Indeed, the bottom 30 of the intermediate piece constitutes a cover separating the first compartment 6 and the second compartment 6, the reversal of the direction of the intermediate piece 3 modifying the volume of the first compartment 6 and the second compartment 7, in order to put a different quantity of meals in the first compartment 6, depending on the nature of this meal (substantial dish or lighten). One could thus envisage replacing the bottom 30 with a cover disposed at a different height inside the peripheral wall 31 of the intermediate piece 3 in order to close off this peripheral wall 31, which would also make it possible to separate the first compartment 6 and the second compartment 7 and to modify their respective volumes during the reversal of the direction of the intermediate piece 3. It is just appropriate that this cover is positioned in the peripheral wall 31 at a height different from that of the collar 33, in order to '' ensuring a change in volume of the first compartment 6 when the direction of the intermediate piece 3 is reversed.

Other characteristics can be envisaged in the context of the invention; it is possible, for example, to provide several first containers 4 and / or several second containers 5, which fit into each other. It is also possible to provide slight punctures (not shown) above the bottom 24 of the cover 2, in which the stabilization pads 34, 44, 54 of the intermediate piece 3, of the first container 4 or of the second container 5 would be housed. (depending on the configuration of box 1) of another box 1, when several boxes 1 are stacked, for example during their transport or their storage.

It is also possible to provide for the addition of sealing means between the intermediate piece 3 and the first container 4, as well as with the second container 5 when the latter is present on the box 1. For example, a seal can be provided seal (not illustrated) arranged on the internal contour 41a of the peripheral wall 41 of the first container 4 and, similarly, a seal (not illustrated) arranged on the internal contour 51a of the peripheral wall 51 of the second container 5.
