Abstract

The invention provides a secure securing system and adjustable in height of an object such as a table with a fastener. The system comprises: • A wall fixing button (10), intended to be fixed on the support (S), comprising: - at least one fixing orifice (11) having an axis (XX) perpendicular to the support (S) intended to passing a fastener (12) to the support; and - a suspension port (15) having an axis (Y-Y) parallel to the support, and adapted to receive, in use, a threaded suspension rod (30) provided with a screwing head (31) at a first end; • A fixing hook (20) comprising a tooth (21, 21a) projecting from a body (22), the latter being further provided with a threaded orifice (23) intended to be in engagement with the stem threaded suspension (30).

Description

SECURE FIXING SYSTEM OF AN OBJECT ON A WALL.

The present invention relates to a system for securely fixing an object to a wall.

More particularly, the invention relates to a secure fixing system for objects such as a table intended to prevent unauthorized stalling.

Hidden fixing systems have already been proposed allowing the fixing of a painting while preventing it from dropping out. One can cite for example the documents US2532162, US5878987 and US6299123.

These systems generally include a wall part to be fixed firmly to the wall, for example by screws, and a part to be firmly fixed to the frame of the table, for example by screws. The two parts are shaped so as to be able to cooperate during the attachment of the table, most often by means of slides.

These allow not only the mutual fixing of the two parts of the system, but also a height adjustment of the table.

The main disadvantage of these systems is that they require the solid fixing of a part in the frame of the painting, fixing which requires the drilling of the frame.

For many works, this need is prohibitive, especially since a hook or twine type fastener (rope or wire) is already provided at the back of the frame.

Another disadvantage is that the slide system gets stuck, often due to the weight of the board, so detaching the board from the wall is sometimes difficult and may damage the wall and / or the board.

Another system has been proposed in document DE 103533.

The system described in this document consists of a plate provided with:

• holes for the passage of screws to fix the plate to the back of the picture frame;

• a slot, located above these holes in the use position, and intended to receive a hook fixed to the wall;

• a locking screw arranged to extend into the lumen of the slot and perpendicular to the hook, in order to lock the hook in force against the edge of the slot.

In an advantageous embodiment, the system comprises a second locking screw arranged in opposition to the first, so that the relative tightening of these two screws makes it possible to adjust the locking position in height of the hook in the slot.

This system is therefore also screwed into the frame of the painting and not to the wall, which can damage the frame.

In addition, it necessarily protrudes from the upper edge of the table since the hook must be able to pass through the slot in the plate. This attachment is therefore visible and therefore unsightly.

Finally, the height adjustment requires two screws which must be screwed simultaneously, which is complex, even impossible to implement.

The present invention therefore aims to provide a secure attachment system for an object such as a painting, capable of using the clip already present at the rear of the painting to require no additional fixing to the frame. The present invention also aims to provide a discreet system, that is to say not visible when looking at the painting and which also has little influence on the wall. The present invention also aims to provide a secure fixing system while allowing fine adjustment of the height of the table.

To this end, the present invention provides a system for secure attachment of an object provided with a fastener on a support such as a wall, the system comprising, in the position of use:

• a wall fixing button, intended to be fixed on the support, comprising:

- At least one fixing orifice having an axis perpendicular to the support intended for the passage of a fixing member to the support; and

- A suspension opening having an axis parallel to the support, and intended to receive, in use, a threaded suspension rod provided with a screwing head at a first end;

• a fixing hook comprising a tooth projecting from a body, the latter being further provided with a threaded orifice intended to be engaged with the threaded suspension rod.

This system adapts to the hooks or cords already present at the back of the picture frame. It thus allows invisible fixing. In addition, it allows simultaneous locking and height adjustment with a single screw, which makes it practical and precise.

Its grip on the wall is reduced while ensuring a stable and solid support avoiding any risk of damaging the wall even in the fixing position.

According to other embodiments, which can be combined with one another:

The wall fixing button can comprise an insertion groove connecting an edge of the wall fixing button and the suspension orifice, the groove having a width greater than or equal to a diameter of the threaded rod but less than a diameter of the screwing head so that the threaded rod can be slid into the groove from the outside to the suspension hole and that it can rest on the wall fixing button via its screwing head;

The suspension orifice may include a housing for receiving the screwing head of the suspension rod;

• the wall fixing button can include a contact plane with the hook tooth so that in use, the hook, the threaded suspension rod and the wall fixing button define a closed space for blocking the fastening the object;

• the wall fixing button may include an open cavity of height defined opposite the tooth to allow height adjustment of the hook while retaining a closed space for blocking the attachment of the object in the system fixing position;

• the tooth can be mounted adjustable in height on the body of the hook;

• the tooth can be constituted by a threaded rod engaged with a threaded orifice arranged in the body of the hook;

The fixing orifice and the suspension orifice can be sequential, so that, in use, the threaded suspension rod engaged in the suspension orifice hides the member for fixing to the support engaged in the orifice of fixation ; and / or • the fixing hole can be oblong.

Figures 1 to 4 illustrate a first embodiment of a secure attachment system 1 of an object on a support such as a wall.

With reference to the position of use, the fastening system 1 comprises two parts: a first 10 intended to be fixed firmly to the support, a second 20 intended to be fixed to the first 10 by a threaded rod 30 and intended to enclose securely, in the fixing position, the clip already present at the rear of the switchboard. This type of attachment is generally very discreet and has very little grip on the object. Mention may be made, for example, of metal studs provided with a loop or of fabric or metallic cords.

More specifically, the secure fixing system 1 according to the invention comprises a wall fixing button 10, intended to be fixed on the support S, and comprising:

- At least one fixing orifice 1 1 having an axis X-X perpendicular to the support S, intended for the passage of a fixing member 1 2 (here a screw) to the support S; and

- A suspension orifice 1 5 having an axis YY parallel to the support, and intended to receive, in use, a threaded suspension rod 30 provided with a screwing head 31 at a first end and advantageously from a stop to a second end. Preferably, when there is a stop, it is removable. In the illustrated embodiment, this stop is constituted by a cap nut 32.

The suspension hole 1 5 is not tapped and allows free rotation of the threaded rod.

The screwing head 31 retains the threaded rod 30 suspended on the wall fixing button 10.

Preferably, the suspension orifice 15 comprises a housing 1 6 for receiving the screwing head 31 of the suspension rod 30 so that when the threaded rod 30 is in the suspension orifice 15 and the screwing head 31 is inserted into the receiving housing 16, the rod 30 is locked axially along the axis YY, but remains free to rotate.

The secure fixing system 1 also comprises a fixing hook 20 comprising a tooth 21 projecting from a body 22. More specifically, the tooth 21 is projecting substantially parallel to the support, that is to say substantially vertical in most case, the body 22 being substantially perpendicular to the support S in the position of use.

The body 22 is further provided with a threaded orifice 23 intended to be engaged with the threaded suspension rod 30, so that when the threaded rod 30 is unscrewed, the system is in the open position and the tooth is at distance from the wall fixing button 1 0 to allow the insertion of a fastening of the object (figures 1 to 3), and when the threaded rod is screwed, the system is in the fixing position (see figures 7 to 9) and the tooth, the body of the hook, the threaded suspension rod and the wall fixing button define a closed ring for blocking the object preventing disengagement of the attachment of the object.

Thus, to fix an object with a loop-shaped fastener to the wall (piton, rope, etc.), the user first fixes the wall button 10 by inserting a fastening member (screw, nail, puller). bottom, etc.) in the fixing hole 1 1 and in the wall S.

Then, as illustrated in a first mode of assembly of the fixing system according to the invention illustrated in FIG. 5, it inserts the threaded rod 30 into the suspension orifice 15 until the screwing head is in abutment the wall fixing button 10, either directly as illustrated in FIG. 1 0, or in a housing 1 6 as illustrated in FIG. 5.

It then engages the threaded rod 30 in the threaded orifice 23 of the hook 20, and activates if necessary the stop 32 constituted by a blind nut in the illustrated embodiment.

It then engages the attachment of the object behind the tooth 21 of the hook and screws the threaded rod by engaging a tool adapted to the screwing head 31.

In doing so, the hook goes up towards the wall fixing button until the tooth 21, the body 22 of the hook, the threaded suspension rod 30 and the wall fixing button 10 define a closed ring for blocking the object preventing disengagement of the attachment of the object. In other words, in the fixing position, the tooth 21, the body 22 of the hook, the threaded suspension rod 30 and the wall fixing button 10 delimit a space E closed transversely but open laterally to allow the passage of the table attachment. while preventing it from being released from the hook 20. To release it, it is necessary to unscrew the threaded rod 30, which lowers the hook relative to the wall fixing button 10 and opens the space E transversely.

Generally, the wall fixing button has a contact plane with the hook tooth so that in use, the hook tooth in contact with the wall fixing button and the threaded suspension rod define a ring. closed object blocking.

The contact plane is coplanar with a part of the lower surface of the wall fixing button located opposite the tooth.

However, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 9, the wall fixing button 10 can advantageously include an open cavity 17, of defined height hl (see FIG. 7), arranged opposite the tooth 21 to allow adjustment of the height of the hook while keeping a closed space E for blocking the attachment of the object in the system fixing position. Thus, the tooth can penetrate more or less high at a height h2, inside the cavity 17 without opening the space E and thus risk that the attachment of the table is removed from the hook 20. It is thus possible screwing / unscrewing the threaded rod 30 adjust the height of the switchboard while ensuring that its attachment cannot be removed.

In this case, it is considered that the tooth passes through the contact plane which is virtual to fit into the cavity 1 7 and allow the hook to be adjusted in height while keeping the blocking space E closed.

In this embodiment, the threaded rod performs a double function of fixing and fine height adjustment.

Alternatively or in combination, the tooth 21 can be adjustable in height on the body 22 of the hook 20. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 5, the tooth consists of a threaded rod 21a engaged with a threaded orifice 21b arranged in the hook body.

By screwing the tooth 21a more or less into the orifice 21b, its projection height is modulated relative to the body 22 of the hook 21. This modulates the distance between the body 22 and the wall fixing button in the fixing position.

As the attachment of the object rests on the body 22 in the use position, it is thus possible to adjust the suspension height of the object.

In the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 9, the wall fixing button 10 also advantageously comprises an insertion groove 18 connecting an edge of the wall fixing button I 10 (a lateral edge in this embodiment) and the suspension hole 15.

The insertion groove 18 has a width LI greater than or equal to the diameter DI of the threaded rod 30 (see FIGS. 4 and 5) but less than the diameter D2 of the screwing head. In this way, the threaded rod 30 can be slid into the insertion groove 18 from the outside to the suspension orifice 15 and rest on the wall fixing button 10 via its screwing head 31 .

In the illustrated embodiment, the suspension orifice 15 comprises a housing 16 for receiving the screwing head 31 of the suspension rod 30. In this case, when the rod is slid into the groove from the outside to the suspension orifice, the screwing head 31 is inserted into the housing 1 6 and rests on the bottom of said housing 1 6.

This camouflages this screwing head and allows a more qualitative finish of the fixing system according to the invention.

Of course, the housing 16 must allow a blocking in suspension of the rod while authorizing its rotation.

This groove allows an insertion mode, represented in FIG. 6, easier than that illustrated in FIG. 5.

Thus, the user begins by fixing the wall fixing button on the support by inserting the fixing member 1 2 according to the arrow Fl. Then he slides in the groove 1 8 the threaded rod 30 previously engaged in the hook 20 according to the arrow F2.

The fixing system is then in the open position, ready to receive the attachment of the object.

It only remains for the user to engage the attachment of the object behind the tooth 21 and then to screw the threaded rod to raise the hook and close the space E located between the wall fixing button 10, the threaded rod 30 and hook 20.

If the wall fixing button includes a cavity 17, the hanging height of the object can be adjusted while keeping the space E closed. This adjustment is made with the same tool and at the same time as the fixing position.

Thus, the locking and the adjustment in height are done at the same time, this system requiring only one gesture with one hand which is very practical and fast.

Advantageously, the screwing head 31 has a non-standard pattern (in shape and / or in size) and requires a specific tool complementary to the pattern of the head 31. This prevents anyone from unscrewing the threaded rod 30 and removing the object outside the fixing system.

In a preferred embodiment, illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 8, the fixing orifice 1 1 and the suspension orifice 15 are sequential, so that, in use, the threaded suspension rod 30, engaged in the suspension hole 15, hides the fixing means to the support 12 engaged in the fixing hole 1 1.

This arrangement is more compact and blocks access to the means of attachment to the support 12, thus preventing the removal of the attachment system to carry the object.

Other embodiments are illustrated in FIGS. 10 to 14 and present several variants which can be applied alone or in combination with the embodiment previously described.

The embodiment of Figure 10 differs from the embodiment of Figures 1 to 9 in that it has no insertion groove. It also has no screw head housing for the threaded rod.

It is a simple and inexpensive embodiment which nevertheless allows secure attachment of an object while being able to be finely adjusted in height.

In the embodiments of FIGS. 1 to 1 0, the system only comprises a single fixing orifice 1 1 for a single fixing member 12.

This arrangement allows pendulum movement of the system which allows additional lateral adjustment. This can be useful to make up for a slight error in the location of the system in relation to the attachment of the object, especially when several fixing systems are used to fix the object to the wall.

The embodiment of Figure 1 1 includes two fixing holes 1 1 a and 1 1 b. This allows a more solid fixing in the support, which is particularly suitable for fixing heavy objects.

This embodiment also illustrates the possibility of using a hook in a single L-shaped piece, the vertical wing of which forms the tooth and the horizontal wing forms the body.

As in Figure 10, the button has no insertion groove, but there could be an opening on the front of the button, between the two fixing holes.

The embodiment of Figure 12 illustrates the possibility of providing that the orifice (s) for fixing is / are oblong (s) to allow horizontal adjustment in use. This makes it possible to make up for a bad location of the fixing member during the installation of the wall fixing button 10. This embodiment can be combined with a button provided with a single fixing orifice. In this case, there is a lateral adjustment in translation thanks to the oblong shape of the orifice, but also an angle adjustment thanks to the pendulum movement authorized by the single fixing member which then also performs the pivot function.

The embodiment of Figure 1 3 illustrates an alternative secure attachment system 100 provided with an insertion groove 1 18. In this embodiment, the insertion groove 1 1 8 opens on the front of the button for wall mounting 1 10 (i.e. opposite to the support on which the wall button 1 10 is fixed), and extends along a part of the mounting hole 1 1 1 up to 'to the suspension hole (not visible in the figure).

In this arrangement, to prevent the threaded rod from sliding towards the end of the groove 1 1 8 under the weight of the object, it is preferable that the suspension orifice is provided at its top with a housing 1 16 for the screwing head 31 of the threaded rod 30. The latter is then held axially in the suspension orifice, but it remains free to rotate.

1. Secure fixing system (1.100) of an object provided with a fastener on a support such as a wall, characterized in that it comprises, in the position of use: • A wall fixing button (10, 11 0), intended to be fixed on the support (S), comprising: - At least one fixing orifice (11, 111) having an axis (X-X) perpendicular to the support (S) intended for the passage of a fixing member (12, 1 12) to the support; and - a suspension orifice (15) having an axis (Y-Y) parallel to the support, and intended to receive, in use, a threaded suspension rod (30) provided with a screwing head (31) at a first end; • A fixing hook (20) comprising a tooth (21, 21a) projecting from a body (22), the latter being further provided with a threaded orifice (23) intended to be engaged with the rod suspension thread (30). 2. Fixing system according to claim 1, in which the wall fixing button (10, 1 10) comprises an insertion groove (18, 1 18) connecting an edge of the wall fixing button and the suspension hole ( 155), the groove (18, 11 8) having a width (Ll) greater than or equal to a diameter (Dl) of the threaded rod but less than a diameter (D2) of the screwing head (31) so that the threaded rod (30) can be slid into the groove (18, 1 1 8) from the outside to the suspension hole (15) and that it can rest on the wall fixing button (10, 110 ) via its screwing head (31) · 3. Fastening system according to claim 6, wherein the tooth (21) is constituted by a threaded rod (21a) engaged with a threaded orifice (21b) arranged in the body (22) of the hook (20). 8. Fastening system according to any one of claims 1 to 7, in which the fixing orifice (11) and the suspension orifice (15) are sequential, such that, in use, the threaded rod of suspension (30) engaged in the suspension hole (15) hides the fixing member to the support (12) engaged in the fixing hole (1 1). 9. Fastening system according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the fixing orifice (11c, 1 1 d) is oblong.
