Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un groupe motopropulseur (1) d'un véhicule comprenant un moteur à combustion interne et un circuit d'échappement (2) des gaz en provenance dudit moteur, ledit circuit comportant une turbine (4) et un catalyseur (5) positionné en aval de ladite turbine (4). La principale caractéristique d'un groupe motopropulseur selon l'invention est qu'il comprend un circuit de dérivation (7) prenant naissance en aval du catalyseur (5) et débouchant dans le circuit d'échappement (2) en amont de la turbine (4), le circuit de dérivation (7) comprenant un compresseur (9) et un réservoir (10) positionné en aval dudit compresseur (9), ledit circuit de dérivation (7) étant destiné à prélever des gaz d'échappement lors de phases de fonctionnement à chaud du moteur et à réintroduire lesdits gaz comprimés en amont de la turbine (4) lors de phases de fonctionnement à froid du moteur.
