Description

Background of the invention

The present invention relates to the field of shelters and more particularly that of tents. The present invention more specifically relates to a tent having a stay.

It is known to provide the tents shrouds formed of a rope to maintain such tents on a floor. These stay cables generally extend between a fixing point disposed on the canvas of the tent and a fixing element driven into the ground. The set of shrouds in the tent are energized so as to ensure the stability of the tent while keeping it in position.

For example, tents are known, such as that presented in document EP 1 905 927, comprising stay cables fixed respectively at two distinct points of a hoop of the tent, namely the apex and a midpoint of the hoop. Also, when one of these stays is connected to a fastener embedded in the ground, a tension line is created between the apex of the arch, its midpoint and the ground, which ensures stability and maintenance of the tent.

A disadvantage of this type of tent is that when the user wishes to move or store the tent, the ends of the stays connected to the buried fasteners are released by said user, so that these ends of shrouds fall on the ground. The stays are then left in place and hang from the tent, which is not aesthetic. In addition, campers may walk on these stretched stays, which increases their wear and deterioration and, moreover, may compromise the safety of campers who can get their feet in the struts distended.

In addition, when storing such a tent, the shrouds presented in this document disrupt the folding of the tent and intermingle, so that the installation of the tent during subsequent use is also made more laborious.

Tents with stay cables, such as that described in document GB 501 332, are also known. The shroud of this tent comprises a spring configured to damp the jolts undergone by the tent and thus to soften its fixation on the ground. Once again, once the end of this stay released, said stay is unattractive, may deteriorate and disrupts the folding and unfolding of the tent.

In addition, the use of such a spring component stay can compromise the maintenance of the tent in strong winds.

Object and summary of the invention

An object of the present invention is to provide a tent remedying the aforementioned drawbacks.

To do this, the invention relates to a tent comprising: a structure comprising a tent fabric and at least one arch, the structure comprising at least a first passage; A first elastic return element comprising a first end portion and a second end portion, opposite to the first end portion and cooperating with the structure; and at least one retractable first shroud to maintain the structure on a floor, comprising a first portion configured to cooperate with the first end portion of the first elastic return element and a second portion intended to be fixed to the ground, the first stay retractable through said first passage; said first retractable shroud includes a deployed position in which the first resilient biasing member is tensioned and wherein the first portion and the second portion of the first retractable shroud extend on either side of said first passage, and a position retracted wherein the first elastic return member is expanded and wherein the distance considered between the second portion of the first retractable shroud and the first passage is less than said distance when the first retractable shroud is in the extended position.

Without departing from the scope of the invention, the tent may be a conventional tent whose structure is formed of a plurality of rigid arches or an inflatable tent which at least one arch is formed by a preformed air sleeve.

The first passage makes it possible to improve the displacement, and more particularly the guiding and sliding of the first retractable stay when it passes from the deployed position to the retracted position, and vice versa. The first passage may for example be constituted by an eyelet fixed to the structure of the tent, further improving the guidance of the first retractable stay while reducing the wear caused by friction during the sliding of the stay in the first passage .

The first elastic return member preferably has an elongate shape, such as an elastic cord, so that its transverse dimensions are substantially smaller than its length.

The first retractable shroud also has an elongate shape, having transverse dimensions substantially less than its length.

The first retractable shroud preferably has a first end portion and a second end portion opposite the first end portion.

The second portion of the first retractable shroud can be configured to cooperate with a first anchoring means, such as a stake driven into the ground. This second portion of the first retractable shroud may further be provided with a loop for accommodating the head of the first anchoring means.

According to a first variant, the second portion of the first retractable shroud coincides with the second end portion of said first retractable shroud.

According to a second variant, the second portion of the first retractable shroud may be distinct from the second end portion of the first retractable shroud. In this configuration, the second portion of the first retractable shroud can cooperate with the head of a first anchoring means while the second end portion of said shroud is for example looped on an intermediate portion of the first retractable shroud. Without departing from the scope of the invention, the second end portion of the first retractable shroud can also be attached to the structure of the tent, so that this end portion is not free and can not drag on the ground. This reduces wear on the first retractable shroud.

Without limitation, the first portion of the first retractable shroud may coincide with the first end portion of said first retractable shroud. Alternatively, they may be distinct.

In practice, to place the first retractable shroud in the deployed position, the user pulls on the second end portion of the first retractable stay, in a direction opposite to the tent. This traction causes a traction of the first elastic return element, because of the cooperation between this stay and this elastic return element. Due to its elasticity, the first elastic return member is then stretched and the first retractable shroud slides through the first passage. Also, the distance considered between the second portion of the first retractable shroud and the first passage increases during this deployment. The user then fixes the second portion of the first retractable shroud on the ground, for example by connecting it with a first anchoring means driven into the ground at a selected anchor point.

In this deployed position, the first retractable stay preferably extends mainly between the first passage and said first anchoring means driven into the ground. The distance considered between the second portion of the first retractable shroud and the first passage is then substantially maximum. The first portion and the second portion of the first retractable shroud are however maintained on either side of said first passage, so that the first retractable shroud always crosses the first passage. A first tension line for stabilizing the tent is thus formed between the ground and the first passage of the structure of the tent. In this position, the first elastic return member is extended and tensioned.

Preferably, the first passage is disposed at a midpoint of the structure, substantially at half the height of the tent.

To place the first retractable shroud in its retracted position, it is necessary to release the second portion of the first retractable shroud. Due to its elasticity, the first elastic return element then tends to its rest position and exerts a return force on the first retractable shroud. The first portion of the first retractable stay is driven toward the point of engagement of the second end portion of the first resilient biasing member with the structure. In this way, the first retractable shroud slides through the first passage and the distance considered between the second portion of the first retractable shroud and the first passage decreases.

Thanks to the invention, the first retractable shroud is then placed in a retracted position corresponding to a storage position. Indeed, in this retracted position, the distance considered between the second portion of the first retractable shroud and the first passage is substantially minimal. This has the effect of retracting all or part of the first retractable shroud. Accordingly, by choosing a suitable distance, said stay does not hang from the structure of the tent and does not fall directly to the ground. The aesthetics of the tent is improved and the risk of damage to the first retractable shroud is reduced to the extent that the latter is subject to less friction. In addition, campers are not likely to stumble because of the first retractable shroud.

In addition, the first retractable shroud, when in its retracted position, is not likely to become entangled with other ropes or elements of the tent, which facilitates the storage and folding of the tent, as well as the unfolding said tent for later use.

In addition, it is particularly easy to bring the first retractable shroud into its retracted position, since it is only necessary to release its second portion, which can be achieved with one hand.

Preferably, in its retracted position, the first retractable shroud extends along the hoop. As a result, it does not protrude from the structure of the tent and its storage is still improved.

According to a first advantageous variant, the second end portion of the first elastic return element is fixed to the structure.

Also, the first resilient biasing member extends between the attachment point of said second end portion of the first resilient biasing member to the structure and the first portion of the first retractable shroud.

In particular, when the first retractable stay is brought from the extended position to the retracted position, the first end portion of the first elastic return member, and therefore the first retractable stay, are biased toward said attachment point. Guiding the first stay to its retracted position is improved and better controlled.

The point of attachment of said second end portion of the first resilient biasing member to the structure may be disposed at the top of the tent. In this configuration, when the first retractable shroud is in the deployed position, the first elastic return member is tensioned and a tension line is formed between the top of the tent and the first passage, to improve the stability of the attempted.

The position of the fixing point is preferably chosen so that the first elastic return member is substantially tensioned, when the first retractable shroud is in the extended position, and fully relaxed when the first retractable shroud is in the retracted position. The choice of the position of the attachment point may therefore depend on the elasticity of the first elastic return element.

Furthermore, said fixing point and the first passage may be arranged along the same arch of the structure of the tent, so that the first elastic return element and the first retractable shroud extend substantially along said hoop when the first retractable shroud is in the retracted position.

According to a second variant, the structure comprises a second passage, the tent further comprising a second retractable shroud having a first portion configured to cooperate with the second end portion of the first elastic return member and a second portion to be attached to the ground, the second retractable shroud passing through said second passage, said second retractable shroud including an extended position in which the first elastic return member is tensioned and in which the first portion and the second portion of the second retractable shroud extend from and another of said second passage, and a retracted position in which the first elastic return member is expanded and wherein the distance considered between the second portion of the second retractable shroud and the second passage is less than said distance when the second retractable shroud is in po deployed. The use of a second retractable shroud makes it possible to improve the stability of the tent.

The second passage makes it possible to improve the displacement, and more particularly the guiding and sliding of the second retractable shroud as it moves from the deployed position to the retracted position, and vice versa. Said second passage may for example consist of an eyelet fixed to the structure of the tent, further improving the guidance of the second retractable stay while reducing the wear caused by friction during the sliding of said stay in the second passage

The second retractable shroud is preferably substantially identical to the first retractable shroud. It also has an elongated shape and has transverse dimensions substantially less than its length.

The deployed position or retracted position of the second retractable shroud is substantially identical to the deployed or retracted position of the first retractable shroud. The first and second retractable shrouds respectively cooperate with the first end portion and the second end portion of the first elastic return member. Also, the first retractable shroud and the second retractable shroud can in particular be placed in one or the other of these positions independently.

When the first and second shrouds are both placed in the deployed position, the first elastic return member is substantially in maximum tension. When one of the first and second shrouds is in the extended position and the other is in the retracted position, the first elastic return member is subjected to an intermediate tension. Finally, when the two retractable shrouds are in the retracted position, the first elastic return element is relaxed, substantially at rest. It will be understood that the first elastic return element is chosen so as to have a length and an elasticity that is suitable for these different configurations.

Preferably, the structure comprises a first guide member, said first guide member being fixed to the structure and cooperating with the first elastic return member for guiding the displacement of said first elastic return member. An interest is to impose a preferential path to the first elastic return element when the first retractable shroud is in the deployed position. The first guide member may for example allow to guide the first elastic return element along a hoop or along the canvas of the tent structure. Another advantage is that in the retracted position, the first retractable shroud is held mainly between the first passage and the first guide member, for example along a hoop or along the tent fabric. The storage of the first retractable shroud is therefore improved.

The first elastic return element preferably passes through the first guide member.

Advantageously, the first retractable stay includes a first end portion and the first resilient return member cooperates with said first end portion of said first retractable shroud. It is understood that the first portion of the first retractable shroud coincides with its first end portion.

According to an advantageous embodiment, the first passage is formed in a first abutment element fixed to the structure, and the first retractable shroud further comprises a first contact portion arranged to bear against said first abutment element when the first Retractable guy is in deployed position.

The first contact portion is preferably disposed near the first end portion of the first retractable shroud. Still preferably, the first contact portion is disposed at the end of said stay.

The first abutment element may further comprise an abutment surface on which abuts the first contact portion. In a nonlimiting manner, the first stop element may be a tongue attached to the structure of the tent in which is formed an opening defining the first passage.

Said first contact portion makes it possible to limit the displacement of the first retractable stay when the user pulls on said stay to deploy it. A tension line is created between the anchor point of the first retractable shroud on the ground and the point of contact between the first abutment member and the first contact portion. This tension line further improves the stability of the tent.

In a particularly advantageous manner, the first retractable shroud and the first elastic return element are connected end to end. The first retractable shroud may further include a first connection member for connecting said shroud to said first elastic return member. An interest is to increase the total length of the assembly consisting of the first retractable shroud connected to the first elastic return element.

Advantageously, the first connection element may comprise the first contact portion. For example, the first end portion of the first retractable shroud may be tied to the first end portion of the first resilient biasing member. The resulting node then constitutes a connection element configured to bear against the first stop element.

In this configuration, in the deployed position, the first retractable shroud extends mainly, preferably over more than 95% of its length, a first side of the passage, preferably between said first passage and the anchoring point on the ground. Also, only the first portion and therefore the first end portion of the first retractable shroud extends on the other side of the passage. Consequently, the distance considered between the second portion of the first retractable shroud and the first passage is increased.

One advantage is that the user benefits from greater amplitude to anchor the first retractable shroud on the ground. It can in particular anchor the second portion of the first retractable shroud to a greater distance from the tent, which further improves the stability of the tent.

In another embodiment, the first retractable shroud has an end that is attached to the structure. An advantage is that in the deployed position, the first retractable shroud exerts a force directly on the structure of the tent, at the point of attachment of the first strut retractable to the structure. This effort allows for example to stretch the canvas tent or improve the maintenance of the hoops. The stability of the tent is further improved. Moreover, the point of attachment of the first retractable shroud to the structure is preferably arranged near the first passage.

Preferably, the first elastic return element further comprises a first connection member ensuring the cooperation between the first elastic return member and the first retractable shroud, the first retractable shroud passing through the first connection member, the first retractable stay is configured for sliding in said first connecting member.

In the deployed position, the first retractable shroud abuts on an inner surface of the first connecting member and thus makes it possible to keep the first elastic return member taut.

When the user releases the second portion of the first retractable stay, to place it in retracted position, the first elastic return member exerts a return force on the first stay, through the first connecting member. While being recalled and retracting, the first retractable shroud slides in the first connecting member.

Advantageously, the first connection member cooperates with the first retractable shroud, being disposed between the first passage and the point of attachment of the first retractable shroud to the structure.

Also in the retracted position, the first retractable shroud defines a first strand disposed between the first passage and the first connecting member and a second strand disposed between the first connecting member and the point of attachment of the end of the first retractable shroud. the structure. By placing the attachment point near the first passage, these two strands extend substantially parallel, which improves the compactness of the first retractable stay when retracted.

In the deployed position, the first passage, the first connecting member and the point of attachment of the first retractable shroud to the structure are substantially aligned. Also, the first retractable shroud forms a substantially continuous line between said attachment point and the first passage. The force exerted by the first retractable shroud is therefore reflected directly on the structure and the stability of the tent is further improved.

Preferably, the first retractable shroud is non-elastic. Also, this first retractable shroud is substantially indeformable, such as a rope, so that a pulling force exerted on said retractable shroud does not allow to stretch. An interest is to keep the tent more firmly on the ground especially in strong winds.

Preferably, the first elastic return element is disposed in a sleeve extending along said arch. An interest is to reduce the exposure of said first elastic return element to the sun's rays and the surrounding climatic conditions. The service life of said first elastic return element is thus improved. In addition, in its retracted position, the first retractable shroud also extends substantially inside said sheath. This sleeve further reduces the wear of the first shroud shroud and also improves the aesthetics of the tent, as the stay is hidden in the tent.

Advantageously, the first passage forms an interface between the inside and the outside of the tent, whereby the first retractable shroud extends mainly outside the tent when it is in the deployed position and mainly to inside the tent when in the retracted position. Preferably, the first elastic return element extends inside the tent. The first elastic return element is also protected and is not visible from outside the tent. In addition, campers are not likely to get caught in said elastic return element.

Preferably, the guide member is disposed inside the tent. It guides said first elastic return element within said tent. In a nonlimiting manner, the structure may comprise a plurality of guide members, so that the first elastic return element may describe a particular path inside the tent and extend along the arches or along the tent canvas. The guide members may be arranged in the tent in different configurations, so that the first resilient biasing member may describe different paths within the tent.

Detailed description of the invention

Figure 1 illustrates a first embodiment of the tent 10 according to the invention. In this example, the tent 10 is configured to rest on a floor and further comprises a structure 12. The structure 12 of the tent 10 comprises a tent fabric 13. Without limitation, the tent is here an inflatable tent so that the structure 12 comprises a single arch 14, consisting of an air sleeve. The hoop 14 includes first and second support portions 14a, 14b configured to rest on the ground and first and second uprights 14c, 14d extending on either side of the support portions.

The first amount 14c and the second amount 14d being substantially identical, we will describe only the first amount 14c.

The structure 12 comprises a first zone Zi located along the first upright 14c, substantially at half the height of the tent. The first upright 14c has the shape of a "V" whose tip is oriented upwards and constitutes an apex of the tent 10, defining a second zone Z2 of the structure 12.

A first fastening loop 16 cooperating with a ring 18 is fixed to the second zone Z2 of the structure 12, on said first upright 14c.

A tab 20 is fixed to the first zone Zi of the structure, so as to protrude from the first upright 14c of the structure 12 of the tent 10. Said tab 20 forms a first abutment element and is provided with a first eyelet 22 defining a first passage 23.

The tent further comprises a first fastening assembly 24 and a second fastening assembly 24 'disposed outside the tent 10.

The first fastening assembly 24 comprises a first elastic return element 26 connected to a first retractable shroud 28.

The first elastic return element 26 is of elastic cord type, so that it has an elongated shape, its transverse dimensions being substantially less than its length. The first elastic return member 26 further includes a first end portion 26a and a second end portion 26b opposite the first end portion 26a. The second end portion 26a of the first elastic return element 26 is connected to the ring 18, so that it is fixed to the second zone Z2 of the structure 12 of the tent 10.

The first retractable shroud 28 is of non-elastic and non-elastic string type, so that it also has an elongated shape, its transverse dimensions being substantially less than its length. The first retractable shroud 28 has a first end portion 28a and a second end portion 28b opposite the first end portion 28a. The first retractable shroud 28 passes through the first passage 23 of the tongue 20, so that said first retractable shroud extends on either side of said first passage 23 and said tongue 20.

A first portion of the first retractable shroud 28 is tied to the first end portion 26a of the first elastic return member 26 so as to form a node 30. In this non-limiting example, the first portion is merged with the first portion of end 28a of the first retractable shroud 28. The first retractable shroud 28 and the first elastic return member 26 are connected end to end.

The node 30 constitutes a first connecting element of the first elastic return element 26 to the first retractable shroud 28. Said node 30 is disposed between the first zone and the second zone, above the tongue 20.

The first retractable shroud further comprises a second portion, coinciding with its second end portion 28b, intended to be fixed to the ground.

In Figure 1, the first retractable shroud 28 is placed in its extended position. In this position, the first retractable shroud 28 is pulled so that its second end portion 28b, and thus its second portion, is connected to a stake 32 driven into the ground.

This traction on the first retractable shroud makes it possible to tension the first elastic return element 26, which then extends along the first upright 14c, between the tongue 20 and the ring 18, that is to say between the first zone Zi and the second zone Z2

It can also be seen that, in the extended position of the first retractable shroud 28, the first elastic return element 26 exerts on the first retractable shroud 28 a restoring force for tensioning the latter between the tongue 20 and the post 32. The first shroud retractable 28 therefore extends between the first zone Zi and the ground, thus defining a tension line improving the stability of the tent 10.

The node 30, whose transverse dimensions are greater than the diameter of the first passage 23, abuts against an upper face 20a of the tongue 20. The node 30 thus also forms a first contact portion cooperating with the first retractable shroud 28. The tongue 20 forms a first abutment member.

In this example, the node 30 forms a connection element having a first contact portion. Without departing from the scope of the invention, the connection element and the first contact portion could be separate and formed by two independent elements.

Without limitation, the first contact portion could be an insert, cooperating with the first retractable shroud 28 to abut against the tongue 20, when the first retractable shroud is in the extended position.

In the deployed position of the first retractable shroud 28, illustrated in FIG. 1, the first and second end portions 28a, 28b, and consequently the first and second portions of the first retractable shroud 28 extend on either side of the the tongue 20 and the first passage 23.

Thanks to the invention, the first retractable shroud 28 can be placed in a retracted position, as illustrated in FIG. 2. To do this, it is necessary to disconnect the second end portion 28b of the first retractable shroud 28 and the stake 32, to release said second end portion. Due to its elasticity, the first elastic return element 26 returns to its rest position, in which it is relaxed, and exerts on the first retractable shroud 28, at the node 30, a restoring force. The restoring force is directed towards the second zone Z2, so that the first retractable shroud is driven towards said second zone and slides in the first passage 23 of the tongue 20, along the first upright 14c. When the first elastic return member is returned to its rest position, the first retractable shroud 28 is disposed along the first upright 14c and always passes through the first passage 23 of the tongue. The first retractable shroud 28 is thus maintained along the first upright 14c.

In this retracted position, the distance d considered between the first passage and the second end portion 28b of the first retractable stay is substantially less than the distance D considered between the first passage 23 and the second end portion 28b of the first stay 28 retractable placed in the deployed position. In this retracted position, the first retractable shroud 28 extends mainly between the first zone Zi and the second zone Z2, along the first upright 14c of the arch 14. The first retractable shroud 28 is thus placed in a storage position , so that it does not hang from the structure 12 of the tent 10 and does not fall directly on the ground, which improves the aesthetics of the tent and reduces the risk of deterioration of said stay.

Without limitation, a sleeve may be disposed between the first zone Zi and the second zone Z2, along the first upright 14c, so that in the retracted position of the first retractable shroud 28, said shroud and the first elastic return member 26 extend substantially integrally inside said sheath. This sleeve further reduces the wear of the first retractable shroud 28 and the first elastic return element 26, and also improves the aesthetics of the tent 10.

It can be seen in FIG. 1 that the second fixing assembly 24 'is substantially identical to the first fixing assembly 24 and is similarly mounted on the second upright 14d of the arch 14 of the structure 12.

Figures 3 and 4 illustrate a second embodiment of the tent 110 according to the invention. The elements and means of this second embodiment already present in the first embodiment, illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, will not be described again. These elements and means comprise the same references as the corresponding elements and means of the first embodiment, increased by the value cent.

In this example, a first abutment element, formed by a first tongue 120, comprising a first eyelet 122 defining a first passage 123, is fixed to the first post 114c of the arch 114 of the structure 112. In addition, a first element guide, formed by a second tongue 120 ', substantially identical to the first tongue 120 and comprising a second eyelet 122', is also attached to said first post 114c. The first tongue 120 is located in a first zone Zi and the second tongue 120 'is located in a second zone Z2.

This tent 110 also comprises a first elastic return element 126 connected to a first retractable shroud 128. The first end portion 126a of the first elastic return element 126 is connected to the first end portion 128a of the first retractable shroud 128, via a connecting member, formed by a node 130.

The first elastic return element 126 passes through the second tongue 120 'and slides in the second eyelet 122' of this second tongue 120 '. The first retractable shroud passes through the first passage 123 of the first tongue 120 and slides in the first eyelet 122 of the first tongue 120 as previously described. The second end portion of the first retractable shroud 128 is connected to a stake driven into the ground.
