Abstract

The present invention relates to a partition wall (1) in two parts of a living room or office use (2). The present invention relates to a partition wall (1) in two parts of a living room or for office use (2). This partition comprises at least one support piston (7) disposed on a low edge of said partition (1), said support piston (7) being adjustable between a fixing configuration and a displacement configuration, at least one, preferably two, roller (8) disposed at the lower end of said partition (1), and at least one upper hooking means (9) movable in translation, able to cooperate with a rail (10) , and arranged on a lateral edge, in the upper half of said partition (1), preferably at an upper corner of said partition (1).

The present invention also relates to a method of moving a partition (1) according to the invention.

Movable partition

The present invention is in the field of interior design of homes. It relates more particularly to a movable partition dividing a living room.

There are partition walls, which are used to separate the living rooms into two parts. These partitions are usually made up of a plurality of panels, which can be detached and slid along a rail fixed to the ceiling at the level where the partition is to be placed. Such partitions constitute a removable separation, but do not allow the size of the separated spaces to be adjusted.

There are also solutions for sliding the partition to obtain separate spaces of adjustable size. Document FR2487882 thus proposes a logia system with variable width comprising a partition suspended by rollers bearing on rails. However, this system and in particular its implementation when the partition is moved is complex and takes time.

The object of the present invention is to at least partially overcome these drawbacks by proposing a partition comprising support pistons making it possible to stabilize the partition and rollers to facilitate its movement. To this end, it offers a partition into two parts of a living room. This partition is particular in that it comprises at least one support piston disposed on a low edge of said partition, said support pistons being adjustable between a fixing configuration and a displacement configuration, at least one, preferably two, a rolling roller disposed at the lower end of said partition, and at least one upper attachment means movable in translation, capable of cooperating with a rail, and disposed at a lateral edge, in half upper of said partition, preferably at an upper corner of said partition.

Thanks to these provisions, a living room can be separated by a partition that can be easily moved along the length of the room. The volume of the separate parts is thus adjustable, and can be changed in a simple manner and requiring little effort. The partition is not likely to fall because it is well maintained by the support pistons when it is fixed, and by the upper hooking means and the rollers when it is moving.

According to other characteristics:

the partition may further comprise at least one lateral support piston disposed on an edge not parallel to said low edge, and adjustable between a fixing configuration and a displacement configuration, this allowing better retention of the partition in the fixed position, the partition may further comprise at least one lateral guide means, capable of cooperating with a rail, and disposed at a lower corner of said partition, in order to guide the partition laterally and to avoid friction of the movable partition on the walls of the room, during its movement, said lower corner can be disposed on the same lateral edge of said partition as said upper corner, which simplifies the manufacture of said partition, and reduces its cost, the partition can include in addition to a socket outlet and an electrical circuit configured to draw an electrical current, in particular integrated into said upper attachment means laughing, and transfer it to another point of said partition, for example to a socket outlet, which allows to have a socket or for example a lighting point on the movable partition, the partition may include an opening, such as a door or window, in order to be able to move from one part to another of the divided room, or for example to pass light if one of the parts does not have a window towards the exterior, the partition may include a plurality of panels, each panel having a lateral rib capable of cooperating with a lateral rebate of an adjacent panel, such a partition being able to be easily assembled, it can for example be delivered as a kit and mounted by a person without specific knowledge and / or tools.

The present invention also relates to an assembly intended to be arranged in a living room or for office use comprising a rail intended to be disposed in the upper half of a wall of said room, and a partition according to one of the preceding claims intended to be arranged in a non-parallel manner, preferably perpendicular, to said wall, said guide rail being configured to cooperate with said upper attachment means.

Thanks to these arrangements, the partition is easily movable from a first position to a second position, and the upper attachment means allows the partition to be stabilized during its movement.

According to other characteristics:

two conductive strips can be placed near said guide rail, one connected to a positive terminal, the other to a neutral or a negative terminal, and configured to cooperate with said socket outlet means, which makes it possible to transmit electric current at a particular point on the partition, for example to supply a socket or to have a lighting point,

The present invention also relates to a method of moving a partition according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises the following steps:

adjustment of the support pistons from their attachment configuration to their displacement configuration, pushing of the partition from an initial position to a desired position, adjustment of the support pistons to their attachment configuration.

Thanks to these provisions, a living room can be separated by a partition that can be easily moved along the length of the room. The volume of the separate parts is thus adjustable, and can be changed in a simple manner and requiring little effort. The partition is not likely to fall because it is well maintained by the support pistons when it is fixed, and by the upper hooking means and the rollers when it is moving.

The partition 1 according to the invention, shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, is installed in a living room 2 in order to divide it into two parts. The partition 1 extends between the walls 3 of the part 2. The partition 1 has for example a rectangular shape and extends between two parallel walls 3, and between a floor 5 and a ceiling 6. The partition 1 can take other shapes depending on the volume of the part 2 to be divided, provided that a translation of the partition 1 is possible in the part 2.

The partition 1 comprises at least one, preferably two support pistons 7, arranged on the low edges of the partition 1. The support pistons 7 are adjustable between a fixing configuration and a displacement configuration. In the mounting configuration, the support pistons 7 extend towards the outside of the partition 1 and support the ground by lifting the partition 1, the upper end of which rests against the ceiling. A lateral support piston 7 can also be arranged on a lateral edge of the partition 1, and rest on one of the side walls 3 of the part 2. In the displacement configuration, the support pistons 7 retract at less partially inside the partition 1 so as to no longer be in contact with the walls 3 or the floor 5 of the room 2.

In the preferred embodiment of the invention illustrated in FIG. 1, two support pistons 7 are located on the lower edge and two others on one of the side edges of the partition 1. The support pistons 7 located on the side edge keep the partition 1 pressed against the walls 3 of part 2. The support piston 7 located on the lower edge keeps the partition 1 under pressure between the floor 5 and the ceiling 6 of part 2.

A larger number of support pistons 7 can be placed on the edges in order to improve the stability of the partition.

The partition 1 also includes two rolling rollers 8, arranged at its lower end. The rollers 8 support the partition 1 during its displacement through the part 2. When the displacement of the partition 1, the support pistons 7 are in displacement configuration and the only contact between the ground and the partition is at level of the rollers 8. The partition 1 can therefore be moved without it being necessary to use a large amount of energy. It is possible to have more than two rolling rollers 8 at the lower end of the partition 1, for example three rolling rollers 8 can be used as illustrated in FIG. 1. The number of rollers 8 is to be adapted to the weight and dimensions of the partition 1. Finally, rollers 8 may be arranged on other edges of the partition 1.

The partition 1 also comprises an upper attachment means 9, movable in translation along a horizontal rail 10, fixed on one of the walls 2. The upper attachment means 9 may be located at an upper corner of the partition 1 and makes it possible to stabilize the partition 1 when the support pistons 7 are in the displacement configuration. The attachment means can be disposed lower than the upper corner, provided that it is disposed in the upper half of said partition 1, to allow, in cooperation with the rail 10, to maintain the balance of the partition in its vertical position during movement of the partition 1. The rail 10 is disposed on the wall 3 at the height adapted to cooperate with the upper attachment means.

As illustrated in fig. 2, the upper attachment means 9 may comprise an attachment roller 11 fixed to a rod 12 and capable of rolling inside a groove 13 of the rail 10. In the preferred embodiment of the invention illustrated in fig. 2, the rail 10 can fulfill a vertical holding function of the partition 1, to avoid the risk of falling during the displacement of the partition 1. The rail 10 is arranged in the corner of the room formed by one of the walls 3 and the ceiling 6. The rod 12 extends horizontally from a lateral edge of the partition 1, and the attachment roller 11 is free to rotate about the axis of the rod 12.

The partition 1 may include two upper attachment means 9 located on either side of the partition 1, especially if the partition 1 is large and / or of significant weight.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the partition 1 comprises a lateral guide means 9 ', located in a lower corner of the partition 1 and movable in translation along a horizontal rail 10' fixed to one of the walls 3. The lateral guide means 9 'can comprise a guide roller 11' fixed to a rod 12 'and able to roll inside a groove 13' of the rail 10 '. In the preferred embodiment of the invention illustrated in FIG. 3, the rail 10 ′ fulfills a lateral holding function for the wall, in the plane of the wall, and it is arranged in the corner of the room formed by a wall 3 and the ground 5. The rod 12 ′ forms an elbow composed of a horizontal part which extends horizontally from a lateral edge of the partition 1, and a vertical part which extends downwards, and the guide roller 11 'is free to rotate around the axis of the vertical part of the rod 12 '.

The lateral guide means 9 'makes it possible to improve the stability of the partition 1 when the support pistons 7 are in the displacement configuration. To further improve stability, the partition 1 may comprise several lateral guide means 9 ’, arranged in the thickness of the partition 1 and cooperating with the same rail 10’ or even with a separate rail 10 ’. These provisions are to be adjusted to the weight and dimensions of the partition 1.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the partition 1 comprises a socket outlet means 14. The socket outlet means 14 makes it possible to draw an electric current from the rail 10. As illustrated in FIG. 2, the socket outlet means 14 can be integrated with the upper attachment means 9. The upper attachment means 9 then comprises two attachment rollers 11 moving inside two grooves 13, each groove 13 being connected to an electrical terminal. Conductive strips 15 are arranged in the grooves 13, for example on the upper wall of the grooves 13, and the electric current is thus transmitted from the rail 10 to the partition 1 via the contact between the conductive strips 15 and the rollers d hook 11.

The socket outlet means 14 may also not be integrated by means of upper hooking 9 and include, for example, two conductive rollers cooperating with two electrical strips arranged on one or two walls 3 of the part 2.

The partition 1 can then include an electrical circuit making it possible to transfer the electric current to a particular point of the partition 1, for example to a female plug 16 integrated in the partition 1, to a switch, or to a lamp.

The partition 1 may also have one or more openings, for example a door, in order to be able to pass from one room to another, or a window, to let light pass from one room to the other.

The partition 1 may also include camouflage strips, arranged at certain edges of the partition 1 in order to camouflage the rollers 8 and the support pistons and to make the partition 1 more airtight to noise and light.

The partition 1 may include panels 17, for example as illustrated in FIG.

4. A panel 17 may include a lateral rib 18 able to cooperate with a lateral rebate 19 of an adjacent panel. The panel 17 may also include a rib 20, on its lower edge, and capable of cooperating with a rebate 21 located on the upper edge of the panel 17 located below. In another embodiment, the rib 20 is located on the upper edge of the panel 17 and cooperate with a rebate 21 located on the lower edge of the panel 17 located above. Finally, the panel 17 can comprise a male attachment element 22 and / or a female attachment element 23 cooperating with a female attachment element 23 and / or a male attachment element 22 of an adjacent panel 17.

These features of the panel 17 allow the panels 17 to be easily assembled together to form a partition 1 comprising simple panels 17, described above and illustrated in FIG. 4, and panels 17 comprising a support piston 7 and / or rollers 8 and / or one or more attachment means 9, 9 ’.

Specific panels 17 can also be used to transmit electric current from the upper attachment means 9 through the partition 1. The panels 17 then comprise conductive strips which can be arranged on one of their edges. The electric current is then transmitted between two adjacent panels 17 by means of a transmission means, for example a conductive clip in the shape of a U, bringing the electrical strips of two adjacent panels 17 into contact.

The panels 17 are preferably rectangular in shape, in order to be easily assembled together. Panels 17 of various shapes can be used to form an opening in the partition 1, for example to form the top of a door.

The partition 1 can be moved along a room 2 and thus divide it into two parts of adjustable sizes. To do this, the partition 1 can be moved according to the following method:

adjustment of the support pistons 7 from their fixing configuration to their displacement configuration, for example using a suitable key cooperating with a locking mechanism in position of the support pistons 7, or by rotation of the pistons d support 7 in one direction to go towards the fixing configuration, in the other direction to go towards the displacement configuration, pushing of the partition 1 from an initial position towards a desired position, for example to separate the part in two parts or to adjust the respective dimensions of the two parts, the partition 1 then rolling on its rollers 8 and being held by its upper attachment means 9 and if necessary by its lateral guide means 9 ', adjustment of the pistons 'support 7 towards their fixing configuration, if necessary until the rollers 11 come into contact with the conductive strips 15, and possible installation of camouflage strips making it possible to hide the the support pistons 7 and the rollers 8, and to give a finished appearance to the partition 1.

The displacement of a partition 1 can, depending on its dimensions, be done very quickly and easily with two people, for example for a partition 1 of three meters long and 2.5m high. The upper hooking means 9 guarantees that the partition 1 does not fall when the support pistons 7 are loose. The lateral guide means 9 ’guarantees lateral guidance of the partition 1, to prevent it from rubbing against one of the walls 3 during movement. The two people take care to move the partition 1 parallel to itself, by pushing simultaneously at the two lateral ends of the movable partition 1.

Depending on the weight and dimensions of the partition 1, it can also be moved by a single person or require the action of more than two people.

The movement of a partition 1 can be partially or fully automated. A motor can drive one or more rollers 8, 11, 11 ', for example so that a single person can move a partition 1 by pushing on one of the lateral ends of the partition, while the opposite lateral end is driven by a hanging roller 11. Finally, it is possible that a partition 1 has a sufficient number of rollers 8, 11, 11 'driven so that it is possible to move it without a person having to push it. . A person skilled in the art will know how to develop such a partition 1 comprising rollers 8, 11, 11 'driven in sufficient number, and sufficiently distributed at the edges of the partition 1, as a function of the weight and dimensions of the partition 1 It can also be envisaged that the support pistons 7 are automatically controlled, making it possible to carry out the entire operation without manual intervention, with the exception of the camouflage strips.

In the case of the presence of an electric pipe, for example with a female plug of socket taken on the movable partition 1, there is no particular precaution to take, as soon as the partition 1 is in place in the new position, and that the support pistons 7 are out, in their fixing configuration, the socket is energized as before displacement.

One can for example provide that the rollers 11 of current outlet are in contact with the conductive strip disposed on the upper wall of each groove 13 when the support pistons 7 are in the fixing position, position in which they raise the partition 1 towards a raised position.

Provision can be made for conducting strips also on the lower wall of each groove 13, so that the current-taking rollers 11 are in contact with this conducting strip arranged on the lower walls when the support pistons 7 are in position displacement, position in which the partition 1 is in a lowered position, when the rollers 8 touch the ground. It is thus possible to obtain that the electrical installation of the partition 1, and in particular an electrical outlet 16, remains energized during the movement of the partition 1.
