Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif électronique (100) pour l'émulation d'au moins un son d'instrument de percussion du type batterie, ledit dispositif (100) destiné à instrumenter un élément de frappe (EF) comprenant : - des moyens de définition (40) configurés pour définir une zone de frappe (ZF) sur un support tangible ; - des moyens d'assignation (50) configurés pour, dans une base de données (DB), assigner à la zone de frappe (ZF) un élément de batterie associé à un son prédéterminé ; - au moins un capteur (10, 20) pour générer un signal de frappe (s1) comprenant au moins une information, dite de frappe, relative à une frappe d'un utilisateur (U) avec l'élément de frappe (EF) dans la zone de frappe (ZF) ; - des moyens informatiques de traitement (60) mettant en œuvre un algorithme de traitement configuré pour traiter le signal de frappe (si) de manière à localiser spatialement ladite frappe afin de détecter la zone frappée et déterminer l'élément de batterie correspondant à cette dite zone frappée (ZF) ; et - des moyens de génération (70) configurés pour générer un signal de son (s2) comprenant une information relative au son généré virtuellement par ladite frappe de l'élément de frappe (EF) sur ladite zone frappée.
