Abstract

L'invention concerne une colonne de direction (10a) pour véhicule automobile, comprenant : - un corps de colonne (11) fixe globalement tubulaire s'étendant autour d'un axe de colonne (12), - un arbre de direction (13) monté en rotation dans le corps de colonne (11) autour de l'axe de colonne (12) et destiné à être commandé en rotation par un volant (15) du véhicule automobile, l'arbre de direction (13) et le corps de colonne (11) comprenant des moyens de correction (21, 22, 27) coopérant ensemble et configurés pour appliquer sur l'arbre de direction (13) un couple correctif (C') non nul autour de l'axe de colonne (12), lorsque l'arbre de direction (13) est dans une position angulaire par rapport au corps de colonne (11), dite de ligne droite, dans laquelle le véhicule automobile roule en ligne droite, de sorte à corriger une déviation du véhicule automobile due à un dévers d'une route.
