Abstract

A degree (2) for facilitating mounting on a platform (1) incorporating a support (3), this support (3) having a post (6) defining in part an outer longitudinal side (11) of the platform, the degree comprising: - a portion (12) support, configured to rest on the support amount; - A portion (13) of support, secured to the support portion, intended to be, when the bearing portion is supported on the upright, projecting from the outer longitudinal side of the platform; - A portion (14) for holding the support portion, when the latter is supported on the upright, the holding portion being directly secured to the support portion and the support portion and being configured to wrap at less partially the amount of support.

Description

DETACHABLE DEGREE FACILITATING MOUNTING ON A PLATFORM The invention relates to the field of access and work at height devices such as, for example, ladders, stepladders or scaffolding, and more precisely to the means facilitating the climb on such devices.

Scaffolding and ladders or stepladders, capable of being configured as a platform, generally have an inverted U shape defining a substantially horizontal floor, integral, in two opposite edges, with supports similar to ladders, used to mount on floor.

Ordinarily, the platform includes a railing on each of the two opposite edges.

An individual climbing onto the floor of the platform climbs on one of the two supports, by an external lateral side of the platform, then bypasses the railing, blocking him the possibility of climbing on the floor by the respective edge of said support , so that the individual finds himself in a position of precarious equilibrium, having his feet arranged on either side of the support and retaining a large part of his weight by the sole force of his arms.

It is known to fix a degree, arranged in the extension of the external lateral side of said support, projecting from an external longitudinal side of the platform, so that when an individual climbs on the floor of the platform, the individual takes a first step on the step, giving him a good balance to bypass the railing and allowing his weight to rest on this leg, then a second step on the floor.

Such a degree effectively reduces fatigue and the risk of falling from an individual climbing onto a floor of a platform. However, the degree being fixed to one of the supports cannot see its location changed quickly and easily if the height of the floor were to be changed, or if the platform were to be moved, requiring to climb onto the floor by the other support or bypassing the railing by the other side of the support.

A first objective is to propose a degree facilitating a climb on a platform.

A second objective is to provide such a removable degree.

A third objective is to propose such a degree, simple to manufacture.

To this end, it is proposed, firstly, a degree, intended to facilitate the ascent on a platform integrating a support, this support comprising an amount partially defining an external longitudinal side of the platform, the degree comprising:

a support portion, configured to rest on the support upright;

a support portion, integral with the support portion, intended to be, when the support portion is supported on the upright, projecting relative to the external longitudinal side of the platform; a holding portion of the support portion, when the latter is supported on the upright, the holding portion being directly integral with the support portion and the support portion and being configured to at least partially wrap the amount of support.

Such a degree thus facilitates the rise of an individual on a platform.

This degree is removable, allowing to move it on the platform and quickly disassemble it.

The degree is also simple to manufacture.

Various additional characteristics can be provided, alone or in combination:

the support portion and the support portion are arranged substantially in the extension of one another, the support portion being configured to penetrate into a lumen of the upright, disposed on the external longitudinal side of the platform, the light can be aligned with a support bar;

the support portion and the support portion form, with respect to each other, an angle;

the angle formed by the support portion and the support portion measures approximately 90 degrees;

the support portion and the support portion have the shape of a cylinder;

the support portion includes a flat;

the holding portion comprises a front face, a transverse face and a rear face, the transverse face being integral with the front face and the rear face, and perpendicular thereto;

the front face punctually increases the perimeter of the support portion;

the rear face includes a return, configured to at least partially wrap a bar of the support.

It is proposed, secondly, a platform incorporating a support, this support comprising an upright defining an external longitudinal side of the platform and a bar, the platform also comprising a degree as presented above.

In Figure 1 is shown a platform 1, comprising a degree 2.

For example, the platform 1 comprises two supports 3, arranged on either side of a floor 4. The supports 3 support the floor 4 in a substantially horizontal position, at a predetermined height. The floor 4 is thus intended to support an individual, allowing him to perform work at height, or facilitating him access at height.

Each support 3 comprises bars 5 and two uprights 6, to which are fixed the bars 5. The bars 5 are fixed substantially perpendicular to the uprights 6 and are arranged substantially equidistant from each other, so as to form a ladder.

According to the examples illustrated in the figures from 1 to 9, the uprights 6 include lights 7, through which pass the bars 5. According to the example shown in Figure 10, the uprights 6 include more lights 7 than bars 5.

The bars 5 are full, have a cavity in their center or are preferably hollow.

According to other examples, not shown, each support 3 comprises a single bar 5 or a plate replacing the bars 5 or even only an upright 6.

The floor 4 of the platform 1 comprises for example two joists 8 resting on one of the bars 5 of the supports 3. According to an example not shown, the joists 8 are fixed to the uprights 6 of the supports 3.

The floor 4 also includes a board 9 resting on the joists 8. In an example not shown, the floor 4 only includes the board 9, directly attached to the bars 5 or to the uprights 6 of the supports 3.

The platform 1 thus forms a device comprising an upright 6 provided with lights 7 and allowing the performance of work at height or to facilitate access at height.

The platform 1 has two external lateral sides 10, each substantially parallel to the bars 5 of one of the supports 3. The platform 1 also has two external longitudinal sides 11, substantially perpendicular to the external lateral sides 10, defined in part by uprights 6 of the supports 3.

To ensure better readability of the drawings, the platform 1 is illustrated in dotted lines in Figures 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10.

Degree 2, when held at one of the supports 3 of the platform 1, protrudes from one of the outer longitudinal sides 11 thereof.

Degree 2 comprises a support portion 12, a support portion 13 and a holding portion 14.

The support portion 12, the support portion 13 and the holding portion 14 are integral.

According to one embodiment, the support portion 12, the support portion 13 and the holding portion 14 are independent parts, assembled to each other.

According to different embodiments, the support portion 12 and the support portion 13 form a single piece, or the degree 2 is a single piece.

The support portion 12 is configured to rely on one of the uprights 6 of the support 3 of the platform 1.

The support portion 13 is arranged projecting from the outer longitudinal side 11 of the platform 1. The support portion 13 allows an individual to rest on the degree 2, helping him to climb onto the floor 4 of the platform 1.

The holding portion 14 is directly integral with the support portion 12 and the support portion 13.

The holding portion 14 comprises a front face 15, a transverse face 16 and a rear face 17. The front face 15 and the transverse face 16 are integral. The transverse face 16 and the rear face 17 are integral.

According to the embodiments shown, the transverse face 16 is perpendicular to the front face 15 and to the rear face 17.

In the remainder of this text, the degree 2 is described assembled on the platform 1.

The front face 15, the transverse face 16 and the rear face 17 are substantially in contact with three sides 18 of the upright 6 to which the degree 2 is assembled. Such a configuration gives degree 2 a minimum clearance with the support 3 of platform 1.

The front face 15, the transverse face 16 and the rear face 17 are preferably substantially parallel to the sides 18 of the upright 6 of the support 3. Such a configuration increases the stress making it possible to maintain the degree 2 relative to the position at the amount 6.

The holding portion 14 is indifferently disposed below the support portion 13, or substantially at the same level as the support portion 13, or then above the support portion 13.

The holding portion 14, when disposed below the support portion 13, increases the locking constraint in rotation of degree 2 about an axis substantially parallel to the support portion 13 of degree 2 .

The holding portion 14, when disposed above the support portion 13, increases the locking constraint in translation of degree 2 along an axis substantially parallel to said amount 6 of the support 3.

The holding portion 14, when disposed substantially at the same level as the support portion 13, makes it possible to obtain a compromise between the increase in the rotational locking constraint of degree 2 around the axis substantially parallel to the support portion 13 of degree 2 and the increase in the locking constraint in translation of degree 2, along the axis substantially parallel to said upright 6 of the support 3.

According to a first embodiment of degree 2, illustrated in Figures 1 to 3, the support portion 12 and the support portion 13 are aligned. According to an embodiment not illustrated, the support portion 12 and the support portion 13 form, with respect to each other, an angle.

The support portion 13 is arranged substantially parallel to the floor 4 of the platform 1, so as to provide an individual with stable support for mounting on the platform 1.

In some embodiments, the support portion 12 and the support portion 13 have a generally cylindrical shape, of circular base. According to an embodiment not shown, the support portion 12 and the support portion 13 have different shapes.

As illustrated in Figures 1, 3, and 10, the bearing portion 12 is supported on one of the uprights 6 so as to enter one of the slots 7 of the upright 6 of the support 3 in a direction defined by a main axis P, substantially perpendicular to the light 7. The general shape of the light 7 allows a rotation of degree 2 around the main axis P.

According to a first embodiment, shown in Figures 1 to 3, the bearing portion 12 is inserted in a slot 7 through which passes one of the bars 5 of the support 3. In this way, the efforts are taken up in line with the bars 5, which provides increased degree of attachment rigidity 2 on the support 3.

According to a variant of the first embodiment, illustrated in FIG. 10, the bearing portion 12 is inserted into a slot 7 through which one of the bars 5 does not pass.

The cooperation of the bearing portion 12 and the light 7 makes it possible to substantially block translations of degree 2, relative to the support 3, with the clearance between the bearing portion 12 and the light 7, according to all directions perpendicular to the main P axis.

The transverse face 16 of the holding portion 14, being substantially in contact with one of the sides 18 of the upright 6, blocks a rotation of degree 2 around the main axis P in a direction. Both being substantially in contact with the other two sides 18 of the upright 6, the front face 15 and the rear face 17 of the holding portion 14 block a translation of degree 2 along the main axis P.

The front face 15 punctually increases the perimeter of the support portion 13. The front face 15 thus reinforces degree 2, which makes it possible to offer increased resistance to an effort exerted by an individual exerting a vertical effort on degree 2.

According to one embodiment, the support portion 13 comprises a flat 19. The flat 19 makes it possible to reduce the risk of slipping of the individual using degree 2 to climb onto the platform 1.

According to one embodiment, the holding portion 14 comprises a return 20 hooking one of the bars 5 of the support 3. The return 20 allows a better constraint of holding degree 2 in its position.

According to a second embodiment, shown in Figures 4 to 6 and a third embodiment, illustrated in Figures 7 to 9, the support portion 12 and the support portion 13 of degree 2 form, l 'relative to each other, an angle. The bearing portion 12 is disposed in abutment on the upright 6 on which the degree 2 is mounted, at the level of the external longitudinal side 11 of the platform 1.

The bearing portion 12 thus blocks a translation of degree 2 in one direction, towards the upright 6, in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the upright 6 extends.

The support portion 12 is preferably arranged substantially parallel to the direction in which the upright 6 extends, which guarantees good contact with the upright 6.

The angle defined by the support portion 12 and the support portion 13 is preferably a right angle.

The support portion 13 is arranged substantially parallel to the floor 4 of the platform 1, so as to provide an individual with stable support for mounting on the platform 1.

The support portion 12 and the support portion 13 have a general shape of a cylindrical bar. According to an embodiment not shown, the support portion 12 and the support portion 13 have different shapes, for example of bar with polygonal section.

Being substantially in contact with one of the sides 18 of the upright 6, the transverse face 16 of the holding portion 14 blocks a translation of degree 2, in one direction, in a direction perpendicular to the transverse face 16.

Being substantially in contact with one of the sides 18 of the upright 6, the rear face 17 of the holding portion 14 blocks a translation of degree 2 in one direction, opposite to the direction blocked by the bearing portion 12, according to the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the upright extends 6.

In the second and third embodiment, the rear face 17 of the holding portion 14 is in contact with one of the bars 5 of the support 3. The rear face 17 thus blocks a translation of degree 2, in one direction , in a direction substantially parallel to the direction in which the upright 6 extends so that the degree 2 does not slide along the said upright 6 when an individual is supported on the degree 2.

The support portion 13 includes a flat 19. The flat 19 makes it possible to reduce the risk of slipping of the foot of the individual using degree 2 to climb on the platform 1.

The holding portion 14 comprises a return 20 hooking one of the bars 5 of the support 3. The return 20 blocks a translation of degree 2, in a direction different from the direction blocked by the transverse face 16 of the holding portion 14, in the direction perpendicular to the transverse face 16.

The return 20 and the transverse face 16 allow, in cooperation, to block a rotation of degree 2 around the axis substantially parallel to the support portion 13 of degree 2.

In the third embodiment, shown in Figures 7 to 9, the support portion 12 and the support portion 13 of degree 2 are integrated in a part, of any shape, offering greater resistance to the degree 2.

Such a degree 2 thus makes it possible to facilitate the rise of an individual on the floor 4 of the platform 1.

This degree 2 is also removable, making it possible to move it over the uprights 6 or to quickly disassemble it from the platform 1, without requiring any specific tools.

Degree 2 is finally simple to manufacture.

Claims (11)

1. Degree (2), intended to facilitate mounting on a platform (1) incorporating a support (3), this support (3) comprising an upright (6) partially defining an external longitudinal side (11) of the platform ( 1), the degree (2) comprising: a support portion (12), configured to rest on the upright (6) of the support (3); a support portion (13), integral with the support portion (12), intended to be, when the support portion (12) is supported on the upright (6), projecting relative to the side (11 ) external longitudinal of the platform (1); a portion (14) for holding the support portion (12), when the latter is in abutment on the upright (6), the support portion (14) being directly integral with the support portion (12) and of the support portion (13) and being configured to at least partially wrap the amount (6) of the support (3). 2. Degree (2) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the support portion (12) and the support portion (13) are arranged substantially in the extension of one another, the portion (12) support being configured to penetrate into a lumen (7) of the upright (6), disposed on the external longitudinal side (11) of the platform (1), the lumen (7) being able to be aligned with a bar (5) of the support (3). 3. Degree (2) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support portion (12) and the support portion (13) form, with respect to each other, an angle. 4. Degree (2) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the angle formed by the support portion (12) and the support portion (13) measures approximately 90 degrees. 5. Degree (2) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support portion (12) and the support portion (13) have the shape of a cylinder. 6. Degree (2) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support portion (13) comprises a flat (19). 7. Degree (2) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the holding portion (14) comprises a front face (15), a transverse face (16) and a rear face (17), the face (16) transverse being integral with the face (15) 5 front and rear face (17), and perpendicular thereto. 8. Degree (2) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the front face (15) punctually increases the perimeter of the support portion (13). 9. Degree (2) according to any one of claims 7 to 8, 10 characterized in that the rear face (17) comprises a return (20) configured to at least partially wrap a bar (5) of the support (3) . 10. Platform (1) integrating a support (3), this support (3) comprising an upright (6) defining an external longitudinal side (11) 15 of the platform (1) and a bar (5), the platform (1) also comprising a step (2) according to any one of the preceding claims.
