L'invention concerne un système d'aide à la conduite (1) d'un véhicule automobile comprenant : - un dispositif lumineux (2) projetant au moins un faisceau lumineux (4) sur une surface optique (6) du véhicule automobile, le dispositif lumineux (2) créant au moins un indicateur lumineux (10) sur ladite surface optique (6) du véhicule automobile ; caractérisé en ce que le système (1) comprend un écran électrochrome (8) modulant une apparence du au moins un indicateur lumineux (10) sur ladite surface optique (6), ledit écran électrochrome (8) étant situé entre le dispositif lumineux (2) et la surface optique (6) du véhicule automobile.
