L'invention concerne un équipement d'habitacle (1) de véhicule automobile comprenant au moins une surface d'affichage (221, 321, 421, 521) et au moins un dispositif lumineux (100) agencé pour afficher au moins une image stéréoscopique sur l'au moins une surface d'affichage (221, 321, 421, 521) correspondante. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé d'affichage stéréoscopique comprenant une étape de détection d'un état fonctionnel de l'équipement d'habitacle (1) et une première étape de configuration d'un dispositif lumineux (100) pour générer une première image stéréoscopique sur une surface d'affichage (221, 321, 421, 521) de l'équipement d'habitacle (1).
