Abstract

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to a sachet, a film reel and the product packaged using such a sachet.

It relates more particularly to a bag comprising a flexible envelope delimiting a storage enclosure and a label fixed externally by bonding to said envelope, this label being at least partially separable from the envelope and arranged, before at least partial separation, at covering at least partially and in correspondence with a rupture initiation formed in the envelope to cause, by pulling the label, a tear in the envelope forming an opening through which the contents of the sachet can be extracted.

PRIOR ART

Sachets of the aforementioned type are well known to those versed in this art. The problem with such bags is the size of the opening obtained. This opening is generally reduced, sometimes making it difficult to extract the product from the sachet. This reduced size of the opening results from the fact that when the sachet is opened by peeling off the label, when the label is peeled off at the level of the breaking point formed for example by a slit, the adhesive of the label tends to entrain the edge of the slot opposite to that closest to the area for gripping the label, and thereby makes the film constituting the envelope of the sachet spin exactly in the axis of traction of the label, from each end of the slot. This results in an opening of the bag at most equal to the length of the slot, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2.

To solve this problem, it is necessary to increase the length of the slot and, consequently, the dimension of the label, therefore increasing the cost of the label.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

An object of the invention is to provide a sachet whose design can allow, if necessary, to obtain a sachet opening of greater width than the length of the initiator of rupture.

To this end, the subject of the invention is a sachet comprising a flexible envelope delimiting a storage enclosure and a label fixed externally by gluing to said envelope, this label being at least partially separable from the envelope and arranged, before at least partial separation, at least partial overlap and in correspondence with a rupture initiation formed in the envelope to cause, by pulling the label, a tear in the envelope forming an opening through which the contents of the sachet can be extracted, characterized in that the label comprises at least one zone of non-adhesion to the envelope arranged in correspondence of at least part of the initiation of rupture of the envelope.

The presence under the label of a zone of non-adhesion to the envelope disposed in correspondence of at least a part of the initiation of rupture of the envelope allows the envelope to be opened later on when the label is removed from the initiation of tensile breakage. The non-adhesion zone thus makes it possible to distribute and / or modify the points of application of the tensile force exerted on the initiation of rupture when the sachet is opened, by pulling the label, in view of the obtaining a larger opening.

According to one embodiment, the zone of non-adhesion of the label to the envelope is, in the closed state of the bag before opening by tearing of the bag, at least partially surrounded by an adhesive zone for binding the label on the envelope.

According to one embodiment, at least part of the adhesive zone at least partially surrounding the non-adhesion zone comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive, said to be of the repositionable type.

According to one embodiment, the label, partially separable from the envelope, has a zone of permanent connection to the envelope arranged, downstream of the non-adhesion zone, taken relative to the direction of printing of the label. .

According to one embodiment, the permanent bonding zone of the label to the envelope is formed by a permanent adhesive for bonding the label to the envelope and / or at least one cut of the label forming a brake suitable maintaining the cut part of the label adhered to the envelope during the continuation of the printing and / or, said envelope being provided with welds, by welding the label in a welding zone of the envelope.

According to one embodiment, the label has, in the state adhered to the envelope, a zone for entering the label called the gripping tab, this gripping tab preferably being formed by a non-adhesive zone of the label on the envelope.

According to one embodiment, the gripping tab is provided on the label opposite the permanent connection zone of the label to the envelope, the zone of non-adhesion to the envelope arranged in correspondence 'at least part of the rupture initiator being positioned between the grip tab and the permanent bonding area.

According to one embodiment, the label is, in the area of non-adhesion to the envelope disposed in correspondence of at least a part of the rupture initiator, free of adhesive or provided, on the internal application side of the label on the envelope, of a means of neutralizing the adhesive of the label.

According to one embodiment, the neutralization means is a varnish or an added yoke, this added yoke being preferably suitable for food contact.

According to one embodiment, the zone of non-adhesion of the label to the envelope comes to total covering of the initiation of rupture. As a variant, the zone of non-adhesion of the label to the envelope partially overlaps the initiation of rupture.

According to one embodiment, the rupture initiator comprises at least one total cut, that is to say extending over the entire thickness of the material constituting the envelope.

According to one embodiment, the label completely covers said rupture initiator.

According to one embodiment, the breaking point comprises at least two contiguous cutouts of the envelope, one, known as a total cutout, extending over the entire thickness of the material constituting the envelope, the other, known as a partial cut, extending over part of the thickness of the material constituting the envelope, the label is, before separation by pulling, arranged with total overlap of the total and partial cut of the partial cut, and the zone of non-adhesion of the label to the envelope corresponds at least to the part of the label arranged in correspondence and overlapping with the total cutout.

The subject of the invention is also a film reel pre-equipped with at least one adhesive label, the wound film being suitable after cutting and welding to form, in cooperation with at least one label, at least one sachet of the aforementioned type, the film forming the envelope of said sachet, characterized in that the film is provided with at least one rupture initiator, and in that the or at least one of the labels is arranged at least partially overlapping and in correspondence with the or a rupture initiator formed in the film, this label comprising at least one zone of non-adhesion to the film arranged in correspondence with at least part of the rupture initiator.

The invention also relates to a bar product such as a cereal bar, characterized in that the product is packaged in a sachet of the aforementioned type.

As mentioned above, the sachet 1 which is the subject of the invention is intended for the packaging of products which may be any. However, this sachet is particularly suitable, in particular for packaging product 14 in a bar.

io This sachet 1 comprises a flexible envelope 2 delimiting a storage enclosure 3, and a label 4 fixed externally by gluing to said envelope 2. This flexible envelope 2 can be made of a sheet material, for example polyethylene, polypropylene or polyester or a complex comprising in particular these compounds. This sheet material can be more or less thick and more or less tender to spin.

The envelope 2, and in particular the sheet material constituting the envelope 2, can therefore be obtained from the cutting and welding of a film from a film reel 11 such as that shown in the figure 11, and which will be described in more detail below.

In the example shown, the bag 1 is a quadrangular bag comprising two opposite faces, said faces being welded to each other at their transverse edges, by welds shown in 8 in the figures. The label 4 is arranged on one of the faces of the bag, and at least partially between said welds 8. This label 4 is at least partially separable from the envelope 2 and arranged, before at least partial separation, at least overlapping partial and in correspondence with a primer 5 of rupture formed in the envelope 2 to cause, by pulling the label 4, a tear in the envelope 2 forming an opening 13 through which the contents of the bag 1 can be extracted .

The printing of the label 4 takes place here in the so-called longitudinal direction of the bag, that is to say in a transverse direction, preferably orthogonal to the transverse welds 8.

Typically to the invention, the label 4 which is an adhesive label fixed by gluing to the bag 1 comprises at least one zone 6 of nonadherence to the envelope 2 arranged in correspondence of at least part of the primer 5 of rupture of the envelope, to allow an opening of the envelope after the label has been removed from the initiation of rupture by traction.

The initiation 5 of rupture of the sachet can be formed of a cut completely covered by the label, as illustrated in FIG. 3. This cut is generally a so-called total cut, that is to say extending over the entire thickness of the material of the envelope, to guarantee the opening of the sachet, even if the cut could also be partial, that is to say only extend over part of the thickness of the constituent material of the envelope.

In the case of a total cutout 51, the label 4, which comes to total recovery of the total cutout 51, contributes to the gas tightness and the humidity of the sachet.

In this embodiment, the zone 6 of non-adhesion to the envelope of the label comes to completely cover the initiator 5 of rupture and preferably extends beyond said initiator 5 of rupture. This non-adhesion zone 6 is completely or partially surrounded by an adhesive zone 12, with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, of the repositionable type, to allow the labeling and peeling of the label 4 at will.

As a variant, and as illustrated in FIG. 6, the rupture initiator 5 can comprise at least two contiguous cutouts 51, 52 of the envelope 2. One of the cutouts is a total cutout 51 extending over the whole of the thickness of the material constituting the envelope 2, the other or the other cuts are partial cuts, shown at 52, extending over part of the thickness of the material constituting the envelope to maintain a seal at gas and humidity of the envelope at said cut.

In the example shown, the total cutout 51 is framed by two partial cutouts 52. Each time, each cut can be formed by a continuous line or a broken line.

In this embodiment, the label 4 is, before separation by printing, arranged with total overlap of the total cutout 51 and partial overlap of the partial cutout 52, and the area 6 of non-adhesion of the label 4 to the envelope 2 corresponds at least to the part of the label 4 arranged in correspondence and overlapping with the total cutout 51. In the example shown, the zone 6 of non-adhesion, which comes to total overlap of the total cutout 51, extends beyond this total cutout 51. This is generally the case.

Again, the zone 6 of non-adhesion of the label 4 to the envelope 2 is surrounded at least partially by an adhesive zone 12 with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, of repositionable type.

To allow the label 4 to be entered for printing, the label 4 has, in the state adhered to the envelope 2, a zone for entering the label called the gripping tab 9. This gripping tab 9 is formed by a non-adhesive zone of the label 4 to the envelope 2. This gripping tab 9 can be formed by a zone of the label in which, for example, the adhesive has been neutralized using a coating material for the adhesive of said label, or using an attached yoke.

The label 4 partially separable from the envelope 2 also has a zone 7 of permanent connection to the envelope 2, arranged downstream, that is to say behind the zone 6 of non-adhesion taken relative to the direction of label pulling 4. This area of permanent connection of the label 4 to the envelope 2 can affect a large number of shapes. Thus, in the example shown in FIG. 8, the zone 7 for permanent connection of the label 4 to the envelope 2 is formed by a permanent adhesive 71 for connection of the label 4 to the envelope 2. This adhesive 71 permanent is in the form of a strip of adhesive developing along the rear edge of the label taken with respect to the direction of printing of the label.

In the example shown in FIG. 3, the area 7 for permanent connection of the label 4 to the envelope 2 is formed by two cutouts 72 in the form of a comma or hook forming a brake and capable of maintaining the cut portion of the label 4 adhered to envelope 2 during the continuation of the draw. Thus, the part of the label disposed downstream or behind this or these cutouts taken with respect to the direction of printing of the label remains adhered to the envelope 2, so that continued printing generates, via the 'label, a pull on the envelope 2 to generate the opening of the bag.

Finally, in the case where the envelope is provided with welds, as illustrated in FIG. 9, the zone 7 of permanent connection of the label 4 to the envelope 2 is formed by a weld 73 of the label 4 in a envelope welding area 2.

Regardless of the embodiment of the permanent connection zone 7, the gripping tab 9 is provided on the label 4, opposite the permanent connection zone 7 of the label 4 to the envelope 2. The zone 6 of non-adhesion to the casing 2, arranged in correspondence with at least a part of the primer 5 of rupture, is in turn positioned between the gripping tab 9 and the zone 7 of permanent connection.

Thus, the label generally comprises, taken along the pulling axis of the label, a gripping tab 9 then an adhesive zone 12, with a repositionable type adhesive, this adhesive zone 12 being followed by the zone 6 of non-adhesion which itself is followed, once again, by a part of the adhesive zone 12 which may include the zone 7 of permanent bonding.

For the realization of the zone 6 of non-adhesion of the label 4 to the envelope 2, several embodiments can be envisaged. Thus, the label 4 can be, in the zone 6 of non-adhesion to the envelope, free of glue or provided, on the internal face side of application of the label on the envelope, with a means 61 for neutralization. adhesive label. This neutralization means 61 can be a varnish or an added yoke, this added yoke being preferably suitable for food contact.

By varnish is meant here any coating composition capable of being applied to the internal face of the label and of neutralizing the adhesive character of the part of the label which it covers. The yoke can be a simple piece of film.

To allow the manufacture of such a bag, one can use a film reel 11 pre-equipped with at least one adhesive label as shown in FIG. 10. The film is provided with one or more primers for rupture. Each rupture initiator is associated with a label which overlaps at least partially and in correspondence with the rupture initiator formed in the film. This label 4 comprises at least one zone 6 of non-adhesion to the film 11 arranged in correspondence with at least part of the initiator 5 of rupture.

To allow the opening of such a bag, in the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 3 in which:

-label 4 comes to complete covering of the initiation 5 of rupture,

-the zone 6 of non-adhesion of the label 4 comes to total recovery of the primer 5 of rupture formed by a total cutout 51,

-the area 7 of permanent connection of the label 4 to the envelope 2 is formed by two cutouts 72 arranged on either side and downstream or behind the end edges of the total cutout in the form of 'A slot extending transversely to the pulling direction of the label, the procedure is as follows: the operator grasps the label 4 by its gripping tab 9; pulling the label seized by its gripping tab 9 leads, firstly, to the detachment of the label 4 in its zone 12 arranged between the tab 9 and the zone 6 of non-adhesion, then the spacing using the non-adherence zone 6 of the label for the initiation of rupture 5.

Continued printing of the label 4 causes the label 4 to peel off the envelope 2 at the part of the label disposed behind or downstream of the non-adhesion zone 6, up to the zone 7 permanent link. The continued pulling of the label by traction exerted on said label then causes, via the zone 7 of permanent connection, a traction on the envelope of the bag, at the level of the zones extending on either side of the slot. forming the initiation of rupture, that is to say at the level of the brake forming part, which leads to an opening of the sachet at the level of the initiation of rupture by tearing of the sachet. At least part of the tear takes place in the extension of the total cut which here extends parallel to the seals of the bag, that is to say transversely to the direction of printing of the label. The opening thus tends to be larger than the initial length of the rupture initiator.

In the embodiment as illustrated in FIG. 6:

-where the label 4 comes to partial covering of the primer 5 of rupture,

-where the initiation 5 of rupture is formed by a total cutout 51 and two partial cutouts 52 framing the total cutout 51,

-where the zone of non-adhesion of the label 4 to the envelope 2 comes to total overlap of the total cutout and slightly beyond the latter,

-where the area 7 of permanent connection of the label 4 to the envelope 2 is formed 5 again by two cutouts 72 forming a brake, the procedure is the same as described above for the opening. We observe a sharper tear and a predetermined line, the line following the partial cuts. Again, the opening obtained is a large opening, without damaging the sealing properties, in particular of gas and humidity, of the bag in the closed state of said bag, before opening by tearing.

The various embodiments used for the design of the permanent connection zone of the label to the envelope make it possible in particular to vary the location of the points of application of the pulling force of the label on the envelope.

Claims (10)
