Abstract

The packaging device for a product to be dispensed comprises a bottle (2) able to contain the product to be dispensed and having an opening, a dispensing device (8) operable to dispense the product and mounted on the bottle so as to close the bottle. opening said bottle, the dispensing device (8) comprising at least one dispensing member (9), located outside the bottle and adapted to dispense the product when the dispensing device is actuated. Description

The invention relates to a packaging device for a product to be dispensed, and in particular for a product of the perfume or cosmetic product type to be sprayed on the skin or on any surface of the skin. application.

Flasks of perfume, or other cosmetic products to be vaporized, are known, comprising a bottle forming a reservoir containing the cosmetic product, the bottle being equipped with a dispensing device fixed, possibly in a removable manner, on the neck of the bottle, allowing a dispensing the product when operated manually.

To prevent inadvertent actuation, the dispensing device 8 fitted to the neck of the bottle is capped with a protective cap. To deliver a dose of product to spray, the user removes the protective cap and actuates the device.

There are packaging devices that include a second device for applying the cosmetic product, different from the dispensing device. For example, the American utility model USD 440 713 presents a bottle of cosmetic product whose neck is equipped with a dispensing device (more particularly a pump equipped with a manually operated dispensing head), the bottle being associated to an applicator brush, removably attached to the bottle on the outside of the latter.

Such an article offers the possibility of applying the cosmetic product either by operating the pump, or by removing the pump and plunging the brush into the bottle to apply the product with a brush on an application surface.

The brush, which can be detached from the bottle, can easily be lost.

Such a packaging device also has the disadvantage of being impractical because, when the brush is used, it is necessary to completely remove the dispensing device and temporarily deposit it next to the bottle to use only the bottle as container and brush. It is therefore necessary to provide a support for the dispensing device.

Moreover, after a first use of the brush, the stained brush is repositioned outside the bottle which is unhygienic: the brush can come into contact with messy agents outside the bottle, and it can deposit on the surface of the bottle the product (which can be unpleasant because it eventually dirty the bottle). The object of the invention is to provide a packaging device that can have two application devices that are easier to use than the device described in US D 440 713.

It proposes for this purpose a packaging device for a product to be dispensed, said packaging device comprising: a bottle adapted to contain the product to be dispensed and having an opening, a dispensing device operable to dispense said product and mounted on the bottle of in order to seal the opening of said bottle, the dispensing device comprising at least one dispensing member, located outside the bottle and adapted to dispense the product when the dispensing device is actuated, the packaging device further comprising an applicator adapted to to be soaked in the product inside the bottle and to be removed from said bottle in order to manually apply the product, the dispensing device being removably mounted on the bottle.

According to the invention, the conditioning device is remarkable in that the applicator is integral with said dispensing device, the applicator being arranged to be inside the bottle when the dispensing device is attached to the bottle and to exit. of the bottle when the dispensing device is disassembled from said bottle.

Having the second applicator in the bottle avoids all the problems associated with having the second applicator outside the bottle (hygiene problem mentioned above).

Furthermore, the release device provided by the invention makes it possible to give access to one of the applicator devices or to the other. There is therefore no problem with having an auxiliary support to evacuate one of the application devices to use the other. The invention thus makes it possible to overcome the disadvantages of the state of the art. The invention may also comprise the following characteristics, taken separately or in combination: the dispensing device may comprise a pump equipped with a dip tube comprising a free end and the applicator may be fixed close to said free end; the applicator can be fixed on the free end of the dip tube and arranged so that the product contained in said dip tube can feed the applicator when the dispensing device is removed from said bottle, - the dispensing device can be secured to an outer tube forming a reservoir for said product and surrounding the dip tube, the outer tube having a free end, the applicator being fixed to said free end of the outer tube and being arranged so that the product contained in said outer tube can feed the tube; applicator when the dispensing device is disassembled from said bottle, - the appl The applicator may comprise flexible filaments and form a brush head, the device may comprise: a cap, able to cap the dispensing device around a fastening element of the dispensing device, and a release device, fixed between an inner part of the cap and the fastening element of the dispensing device, the release apparatus being movably mounted by rotating at least a portion of the cap about an axis of the cap between: a first position, allowing removing the cap and releasing said dispensing member, and - a second position, allowing removal of the dispensing device from the neck of the vial and releasing the applicator.

According to this last embodiment, the release apparatus may comprise a first element in relief fixed inside the cap and a second element in relief fixed on the fixing element of the dispensing device, said first element in relief being adapted to be positioned under said second element in relief when the cap is placed around the dispensing device.

According to one embodiment, said first and second elements in relief may have a set of locking elements, ensuring the locking of the first element in relief against said second element in relief in said second position.

According to yet another embodiment, said first raised member is a first ring portion and said second raised member is a second ring portion, each of the first and second ring portions having a first and a second end, the second end said first ring portion having a shape complementary to the shape of a first end of the second ring portion, so as to engage the second end of the first ring portion with the first end of the second ring portion in said second position.

Figures 1 to 4 show a first embodiment of a packaging device 1 according to the invention.

Figure 1 shows a bottle 2, adapted to contain a fluid product to be dispensed.

The bottle 1 comprises, in a manner known per se, a body 3 formed by a cylindrical wall, the body 3 being closed at a first end by a bottom, whereby the bottle can stand upright on a substantially flat surface.

A second end of the body 3 of the bottle 2, opposite the first end, has a throat 4 extending through a chimney defining an opening 5 of the bottle, the chimney forming the neck 6 of the bottle.

The neck 6 of the bottle 2 has a Z axis, and the Z axis of the neck merges with the axis of the body of the bottle.

The bottle 2 can be made of glass, plastic, or any other non-porous material allowing the bottle to contain a product to be dispensed.

The product to be dispensed may be perfume, a fluid cosmetic product, or any other product capable of being sprayed or sprayed.

The neck 6 of the bottle 2 is made with an external thread 7.

According to the invention, the packaging device 1 comprises a dispensing device 8, which is chosen according to the product to be dispensed.

In the context of the illustrated example, the product to be dispensed is a perfume and the dispensing device is a dispensing pump 8.

The dispensing pump 8 comprises, in a conventional manner, a dispensing head 9 (or pump head) fixed on a pump body 10, connected to a preferably rigid dip tube 11.

The pump is operated by pressing the dispensing head 9.

The dispensing head 9 constitutes a dispenser of the product contained in the bottle 2.

The dispensing pump 8 also comprises a fixing ring 12, ensuring the attachment of the pump on the neck of the bottle. The dispensing pump 8 comprises a fixing ring 12, of cylindrical shape, the fixing ring 12 being connected to a perpendicular closing top wall, traversed at its center by an opening 13. The opening 13 delivers passage to the head of the distribution 9.

The fixing ring 12 has a diameter substantially greater than the outside diameter of the neck 6 of the bottle 2.

The fixing ring 12 has an internal thread 14, able to cooperate with the thread 7 of the neck 6 of the bottle 2.

The fixing ring thus constitutes a fastening element of the dispensing device around the neck of the bottle 2.

Although the example illustrated and described relates to a fixing ring which is fixed by screwing, it should be understood that the invention could also include a dispensing device in which the fixing ring 12 is fixed on the neck of the bottle by clipping .

Furthermore, the dispensing head 9, passing through the opening 13, is located outside the bottle when the dispensing device 8 is fixed around the neck 6 of the bottle 2.

According to the invention, the dispensing device comprises an applicator: it is produced by a group of flexible filaments 15, oriented axially around the dip tube 11, at its free end 16.

The group of filaments 15 attached to the end of the plunger tube 11 forms an applicator brush 17.

Thus produced, the applicator 17 is connected to the dispensing member (dispensing head 9 of the pump) via the dip tube 11. In this way, when the dispensing device 8 is fixed on the neck 6 of the bottle 2, the applicator 17 is placed inside the bottle 2.

With this technical solution, the dispensing member 9 and the applicator 17 belong to the same element. The use of the applicator 17 thus makes it possible to dispense with the obligation to separate from the dispensing member 9, as was the case in the device described in the US utility model USD 440 713.

Moreover, since the applicator 17 is always placed inside the bottle 2 when it is not in use, it does not dirty the outside of the bottle 2 and it is not put in contact with agents outside the vial 2 (as was the case for the document device USD 440 713).

The first embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4 comprises means making it possible to associate the dispensing device 8 with a cap 18 by securing them punctually, which enables a user to enter the dispensing device 8 to use the dispensing device 8. applicator, that is to say the brush 17.

However, it should be understood that the invention is not limited to the presence of these association means. Moreover, the second embodiment, illustrated in FIG. 5, shows a dispensing device designed for an embodiment without means of associating the dispensing device with a cap.

In the first embodiment, the cap 18 has a side skirt 19 formed by a hollow cylinder, the cylinder being open at one of its ends 20 and closed at its opposite end 21 by a closing wall 22.

The side skirt 19 has an inner surface 23 and has an internal diameter such that the cap 18 is able to come and go around the fixing ring 12 of the dispensing device covering the neck 6 of the bottle 2.

The means for associating the dispensing device 8 with the cap 18 will now be described.

The means are, according to the invention, made by a delivery apparatus comprising a first and a second element in relief, the first element in relief being provided in the cap and the second element in relief being provided on the delivery device, such that the relief element of the cap is placed under the raised element of the delivery device.

More particularly, in the context of this embodiment, the two raised elements are first and second ring portions 25 and 26 which have ends of complementary shapes so that the ends of the two ring portions 25 and 26 can to combine perfectly to form, together, a partial ring (the wall does not make a complete turn when the two ring parts 25 and 26 are associated).

It should be understood that the complementary shapes of the ends of the ring portions relate to only one exemplary embodiment, and that the invention could extend a different embodiment of the means for associating the cap and the dispensing device (see FIG. later in this description).

More particularly, each of the ring portions 25 and 26 have two ends 27 and 28, and the two ends of the same ring portion are of complementary shapes. The two ring portions 25 and 26 each have an end 27 and an end 28.

In this way, the first end 27 of the second ring portion 26 can fit snugly with the second end 28 of the first ring portion 25 (see Figure 2).

In this way also, the second end 28 of the first ring portion 25 has a shape complementary to the shape of the first end 27 of said second ring portion 26, so as to fit said second and first ends 28 and 27 of the first and second ring portions 25 and 26, respectively.

The first end 27 of the first or second ring portions 25 or 26 has a first bent portion 29: to do this, the end 27 has a shoulder-shaped cut with a concavity facing downwards, so that the first end 27 has a projecting finger 31 extending only the upper part of the end 27.

The second end is of complementary shape: it has a bent portion 32, having a shoulder-shaped cutout 33 with an upwardly concavity, so that the second end has a projecting finger 34 extending only the lower part of the end 28.

The upper projecting finger 31 of the first ring portion 25 fits perfectly into the lower shoulder 33 of the second ring portion 26, and vice versa: the lower projecting finger 34 of the first ring portion fits perfectly into the upper shoulder of the second ring portion 26.

As can be seen in FIGS. 1 to 4, the first ring portion 25 is fixed on the inner surface 23, in the cap 18. In addition, the second ring portion 26 is attached to the outer surface 35 of the ring fixing device 12 of the dispensing device 8.

In the context of the example presently described, the perimeter of the arc between the first end 27 and the second end 28 of a ring portion 25 or 26 is substantially equal to or less than the half-perimeter of a ring complete with the same radius of curvature. It is thus possible to place the cap 28 on the dispensing device 8 closing the neck 6 of the bottle 2 in the following manner: it is necessary to position the upper finger 31 of the first ring portion 25, situated in the stopper, in front of the lower shoulder 33 of the second end 28 of the second ring portion 26 fixed around the dispensing device 8.

In this way, the cap 18 snaps onto the dispensing device 8 in a first position (shown in FIG. 3), this first position also permitting the removal of the cap to release the pump (or dispensing) head 9 so that a user has access to be able to operate it.

In an alternative embodiment, it could be imagined that the perimeter of the arc between the first end 27 and the second end 28 of a ring portion is greater than the half-perimeter of a complete ring without leaving the framework of the invention.

The cap 18 is rotatable about the Z axis of the neck 6 of the vial 2.

By pivoting the cap 18 in the direction A (see FIG. 2), the second end 28 of the first ring portion 25, integral with the cap, is fitted into the first end 27 of the second ring portion 26, so that that the lower finger 34 of the end 28 (of the first ring portion) is placed under the upper finger 31 of the end 27 (of the second ring portion).

When the second end 28 of the first ring portion 25 is nested in the first end 27 of the second ring portion 26, the two ring portions touch each other. The release device 24 is then in a second position which leads to the release of the brush 17.

Indeed, by continuing the rotation of the cap 18 around the fixing ring 12 (arrow A in Figure 2), the end 28 of the first ring portion 25 exerts pressure on the end 27 of the second portion of ring 26 against which it is in abutment. This pressure causes the fixing ring 12 to be unscrewed, which makes it possible to release the dispensing device 8 from the neck 6 of the bottle 2, as well as the brush 17. After unscrewing, it is thus possible to grip the cap 18, secured to the device 8, as illustrated by the arrow B in FIG.

The securing of the cap 18 with the dispensing device is only possible thanks to the fact that the finger 34 of the end 28 of the first ring portion 25 is inserted under the finger 31 of the end 27 of the second part of 26. This is how the ring portion 25 is made punctually integral with the ring portion 26, in the second position of the release apparatus 24 and that the assembly can be removed according to the arrow B shown in FIG. 2.

To have access again to the dispensing member of the device (that is to say the dispensing head 9 of the dispensing device), simply replace the cap assembly 18 / dispensing device 8 on the neck 6 bottle 2 (see Figure 3).

By rotating the cap 18 in the direction of the arrow C (i.e. in the opposite direction of the arrow A shown in Figure 2), the ring portion 25 rotates about the Z axis, and the end 28 of the first ring portion 25 deviates from the end 27 of the second ring portion 26 until the end 28 of the first ring portion 25 snaps into the end 27 of the second ring part.

In this position, which corresponds to the first position described above, the two ring parts are engaged with each other.

Continuing to turn the cap 18, the end 27 of the first ring portion exerts a pressure on the end 28 of the second ring portion, thereby releasing the fastener ring 12 of the dispensing device around the neck 6 of the bottle 2.

As in this first position, the finger 31 of the first ring portion 25 is positioned above the finger 34 of the second ring portion 26: the finger 31 of the first ring portion 25 integral with the cap does not prevent the disengagement of the cap 18 of the dispensing device 8 when the cap is moved upwards (arrow D in Figure 4). Thus, in the first position of the release apparatus 24, the cap 18 can be placed on the dispensing device 8 and can be removed (Figures 3 and 4).

In the second position of the release apparatus 24, the cap 18 can be secured to the dispensing device and allows the brush 17 to be released. In addition, the cap 18, secured to the dispensing device 8, serves as a gripping element. to a user who can then use the brush portion 17.

It should be noted that, in this embodiment, the dip tube serves as a reserve for a dose of product contained in the vial 2 after the pump has been primed (the dose corresponding to the inner capacity of the plunger tube): Indeed, the product is retained in the dip tube 11 by capillarity. By applying the brush 17 to a porous surface, the product contained in the dip tube exits the latter and spreads over the porous surface.

If the user feels that he does not have enough product for its application, he can plunge the brush 17 into the bottle 2 in order to take the product again.

As indicated above, the invention is not limited to the presence of a release apparatus.

FIG. 5 shows an alternative dispensing device 8 which could be used on the bottle 2 shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, and on which could be fixed removably a cap similar to that shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, but without ring part 25.

The dispensing device comprises, like that shown in the first embodiment, a pump comprising a dispensing head 9, a pump body (not shown), a skirt 12 for fixing the dispensing device on the neck 6 of the bottle 2 , and a dip tube 11.

According to this second embodiment, the dip tube passes through a second tube 40, coaxially.

The second tube 40 is fixed by one of its ends around the pump body. Its other end 42 is open and the end 16 of the plunger tube 11 leaves the second tube 40 and protrudes from the end 42.

Moreover, a group of filaments 16 is fixed around the open end 42, forming the head of a brush 17. This group of filaments 16 is dense enough to retain a liquid by capillarity in the second tube 40. also the reason why the end 16 of the dip tube is protruding from the end 42 of the tank: In this way, the dip tube can take without problem the product contained in the bottle 2.

Thus produced, the dispensing device comprises its own reservoir, formed by the second tube 40 and associated with the brush 17.

It will be understood from the foregoing description how the invention makes it possible to remedy the problems related to the design of devices of the prior art comprising two distinct distribution devices.

It should be understood that the invention is however not limited to the examples described and shown in the figures and that it extends to the implementation of any equivalent means.

For example, the fixing skirt 12 could have no threads and be fixed by clipping on the neck 6 of the bottle, without departing from the scope of the invention.

FIG. 6 shows such a fastening skirt 12 fixed by clipping on the neck 6 of the bottle 2.

In this embodiment, the release apparatus 24 comprises a first and a second raised element made in a different form from that shown in the example illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4.

The first element in relief, fixed in the cap 18, is in the form of a ribbon 50 in relief, extending radially on the inner surface 23 of the cap 18.

The ribbon 50 in relief has an end 51 having a shoulder 52, the shoulder forming a cavity whose concavity is turned towards the top 53 of the cap.

The fixing ring 12 of the dispensing device is provided with a raised lug 60, formed by a protruding piece on the surface of the fixing ring 12, the part having a substantially rectangular section. The lug in relief can be attached to the fixing ring 12. It can also be made in one piece with said ring 12. The lug 60 in relief has a male element 61, projecting downwards, the element male 61 being projecting on a lower edge of the lug 60.

At the same time, the end 51 of the salient ribbon 50 has a female element adapted to receive the male element 61 of the salient lug 60.

In this way, when the end 51 of the projecting tape 50 passes under the lug 60, the end 51 is fixed to the lug 60 by introduction of the male element 61 into the female element 54. The male element and the female element then form a set of elements for locking the position of the lug 60 on the ribbon 50.

When the lug 60 and the end 51 of the ribbon 50 are locked in position, the release equipment is in the second position, that is to say in a position in which the cap 18 is in engagement with the device 8, associating them to allow to disengage the dispensing device of the neck 6 of the bottle by pulling on the cap 18.

It is thus understood how the male and female elements allow to associate two parts of elements so that these two parts are integral in their movement.

Another variant of embodiment could be provided: In the first embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, it would be possible to provide male and female elements on the ends of the two parts of rings 25 and 26, to ensure a thorough screwing of the fixing ring 12 on the neck 6. In this case, it would no longer be necessary to provide an end 7 of a first ring portion capable of exerting pressure on one end 28 of a second ring portion, for allows to screw the fixing ring 12 of the dispensing device around the neck 6 of the bottle 2.

Claims (12)

1. Packaging device for a product to be dispensed, said packaging device comprising: a bottle (2) adapted to contain the product to be dispensed and having an opening, a dispensing device (8) operable to dispense said product and mounted on the bottle so as to close the opening of said bottle, the dispensing device (8) comprising at least one dispensing member (9), located outside the bottle and adapted to dispense the product when the dispensing device is actuated, the dispensing device packaging further comprising an applicator (17) adapted to be soaked in the product inside the bottle (2) and to be removed from said bottle in order to manually apply the product, the dispensing device (8) being removably mounted on the bottle characterized in that the applicator (17) is integral with said dispensing device (8), the applicator (17) being arranged to be internally the vial (2) when the dispensing device (8) is attached to the vial (2) and out of the vial when the dispensing device (8) is disassembled from said vial. 2.
