Abstract

The invention relates to a box comprising: - a pallet having at least two feet, - a cardboard box (100) comprising: - two first side walls (102a-b) and two second side walls (102c-d) forming a parallelepiped rectangle, - for each first side wall (102a-b), a tongue (104a-b) and - for each second side wall (102c-d), a strip (110c-d) having a central portion (112) integral with said second side wall (102c-d) along a second fold line (118), and two free portions (114a-b) extending on either side and in the extension of the central portion (112); ) from a first fold line (116), where each free portion (114a-b) is placed, after folding along the first fold line (116), against the inner face of the first side wall ( 102a-b), wherein each central portion (112) is placed, after folding along the second fold line (118), perpendicularly to the second side wall (102d-c), wherein the pallet (302) is accommodated in the cardboard box (100) so that the feet rest on the central portions (112), and the free parts ( 114a-b) are placed between the pallet and the first side walls (102a-b).

Description

The present invention relates to a box incorporating a pallet and a cardboard box.

Currently, some goods are transported in a box with a cardboard box whose bottom is arranged on a pallet. Such an assembly makes it possible in particular to produce a display for goods. The establishment of this pallet allows in particular the support by an appropriate trolley, such as a pallet truck.

The cardboard box and the pallet are not secured without a suitable fastening system and they may become detached. In addition, when the feet of the pallet are made of folded cardboard, these feet are not held in the folded position when the body is raised by a pallet truck, except to stick these feet which requires the use of glue or an adhesive not always easily recyclable and which also requires an additional operation during implementation.

An object of the present invention is to provide a box which incorporates a pallet and a cardboard box and which does not have the disadvantages of the prior art and which, in particular, ensures the cohesion of the assembly. For this purpose, is proposed a box comprising: - a pallet having a tray and at least two feet disposed under the underside of the tray, - a cardboard box comprising: - first two side walls vis-à-vis, each having two joined edges, and two parallel free edges and vis-à-vis, - two second side walls vis-à-vis, each having two joined edges, where each joined edge of a side wall is integral with the joint edge of the side wall adjacent so that the side walls form a rectangular parallelepiped, - for each first side wall, a tongue formed in said first side wall and extending from the free edge, and - for each second side wall, a strip having a central portion secured to said second side wall along a second fold line and extending between the two first side walls, and two parts ibres extending from both sides and in the extension of the central part from a first fold line, where each free part is placed, after folding along the first fold line, against the inner face of the first adjacent lateral wall, where each central part is placed, after folding along the second fold line, perpendicularly to the second lateral wall, where the pallet is housed in the cardboard box so that the feet rest on the central parts, and that the free parts are placed between the pallet and the first side walls.

Advantageously, the cardboard box has at each corner between a first side wall and a second side wall, a lug made by cutting and driving a portion of the corner towards the inside of the cardboard box and each free portion has a cut-out triangular in which is positioned the pin.

Advantageously, the lug has a base at the upper surface of the plate.

Advantageously, each free portion has a third fold line which coincides with the upper face of the plate.

According to a particular embodiment, each tongue is placed by folding against the inner face of the first side wall from which it is derived.

According to a particular embodiment, each tongue is placed by folding against the upper face of the plate.

According to a particular embodiment, each tongue extends from the free edge to a fourth fold line parallel to the free edge, and the position of the fourth fold line is such that when the tongue is folded along the fourth fold line, one of its faces comes against the upper face of the tray.

According to a particular embodiment, each tongue extends from the free edge to a fifth fold line parallel to the free edge, the position of the fifth fold line is at the lower face of the plate, between the fifth line bend and the free edge, the tongue has a sixth fold line, and the position of the sixth fold line is such that when the tongue is folded along the sixth fold line, one of its faces comes against the upper face of the tray.

Advantageously, the cardboard box has two strips of bonding which overlap, and the cardboard box has in the extension of each bonding strip, a cutout of the central portion which extends over half the thickness of the strip lift-off.

The characteristics of the invention mentioned above, as well as others, will appear more clearly on reading the following description of an exemplary embodiment, said description being given in relation to the attached drawings, among which:

Fig. 1 shows a cardboard box 100 which is preferably made from a single cardboard blank which is cut and then folded and glued to a gluing surface 10 which is here substantially in the middle of a side wall.

In the description which follows, the terms relating to a position are taken with reference to a box in the position of use, that is to say with its bottom facing downwards, that is to say as it is shown in Figs. 3 to 6.

Fig. 1 shows the cardboard box 100 in a partially folded position and FIG. 2 shows the cardboard box 100 in the folded and locked position.

The cardboard box 100 has: - two first side walls 102a-b vis-à-vis, each having two joined edges, and two parallel edges 103a-b parallel and vis-à-vis, - two second side walls 102c -d vis-à-vis, each having two joined edges, where each joined edge of a side wall 102a-d is integral with the joint edge of the side wall 102a-d neighbor so that the side walls 102a-d form a rectangular parallelepiped, - for each first side wall 102a-b, a tongue 104a-b made in said first side wall 102a-b and extending from the free edge 103a, and - for each second side wall 102c-d, a strip llOc-d having a central portion 112 secured to said second side wall 102c-d and extending between the two first side walls 102a-b, and two free portions 114a-b extending on either side and in the extension of the central part 112.

Each strip 10c-d has at the junction between the central portion 112 and a free portion 114a-b, a first fold line 116.

The junction between the central portion 112 and the second side wall 102c-d is effected along a second fold line 118. From the partially folded position, each free portion 114a-b is folded towards the inside of the the cardboard box 100 along the first fold line 116 and each central portion 112 is also folded inwardly along the second fold line 118 to obtain the folded and locked position. Each free portion 114a-b is thus placed inside the cardboard box 100 and is placed against the inner face of the first side wall 102a-b neighbor and between the tongue 104a-b and the second side wall 102c- d which carries the band llOc-d. Each central portion 112 thus folded perpendicular to the second side wall 102d-c associated constitutes the bottom of the cardboard box 100.

Each tab 104a-b is also folded towards the inside of the cardboard box 100.

Figs. 3 to 5 show a box 300 which comprises the cardboard box 100 and a pallet 302 comprising a plate 304 and at least two feet 306. The feet 306 can be two in number and arranged in parallel under a lower face of the plate 304. The feet 306 may be four in number and arranged for example at the four corners under the lower face of the plate 304 or distributed along two edges of the lower face of the plate 304. In FIGS. 3A, 3B, 4 and 5, the pallet 302 has four feet 306. It is also possible to provide intermediate feet in the case of a reinforcement.

When the cardboard box 100 is in the folded and locked position, the pallet 302 is housed in the bottom of the cardboard box 100 and the feet 306 rest on the central parts 112, while the free parts 114a-b are placed between the pallet 302 and the first side walls 102a-b. As described later, the tabs 104a-b are preferably folded against an upper face of the tray 304.

When the feet 306 of the pallet 302 are made by folding, they are held in position by the central parts 112.

In addition, the space released by the folding of the tabs 104a-b allows to release the pallet 302 and allows the pallet 302 to be picked up by a pallet truck.

As shown in FIG. 6, the position of the tongue 104a-b which extends perpendicular to the first side wall 102a-b serves to block the free portion 114a-b and thus ensures the retention in the folded and locked position of the cardboard box 100. this, the length of the free portion 114a-b must be sufficient for its free end passes beyond the tongue 104a-b.

To ensure a better hold in the folded and locked position of the cardboard box 100, the latter has at each corner between a first side wall 102a-b and a second side wall 102c-d, a pin 502 which is made by cutting and depressing a portion of the corner towards the inside of the cardboard box 100. When the pin 502 is depressed, it takes the form of a pyramid portion as shown in FIG. 3A and FIG. 6. At the same time, each free portion 114a-b has a triangular cutout 602 in which the lug 502 is positioned when the cardboard box 100 is folded and locked. To avoid interfering with the pallet 302, the lug 502 is formed above the plate 304.

As explained below, the mounting of the body 300 is facilitated when the cutting of the lug 502 is carried out so that the base of the pyramid portion is at the upper surface of the plate 304.

When the content of the cardboard box 100 is not compatible with pins 502 encroaching into the volume of the cardboard box 100, a complement of holding in the folded and locked position of the cardboard box 100 can be provided by a folding the free end of each free portion 114a-b against the upper face of the plate 304 as shown in FIG. 3B. Thus, the contents of the cardboard box 100 crush the fold of each free portion 114a-b and strengthens the maintenance. To this end, each free portion 114a-b comprises a third fold line 120 which coincides with the upper face of the plate 304 and the length of each free portion 114a-b is sufficient for the end of each of them to exceed above the plateau 304.

Of course, depending on whether the content of the cardboard box 100 is known or variable, it is possible to provide either the third fold line 120 or the triangular cut 602, or both, in the latter case, the third line of folding 120 coincides with the base of the triangular cut 602.

Each tab 104a-b is derived from the cutting of the first side wall 102a-b by two parallel cutting lines from the free edge 103a. Each tab 104a-b thus remains attached to the first side wall 102a-b by a fourth fold line 108.

Figs. 4 and 5 show two embodiments for the tabs 104a-b.

In the embodiment of FIG. 4, the tongue 104a-b extends from the free edge 103a to the fourth fold line 108 parallel to the free edge 103a and the position of the fourth fold line 108 is such that when the tongue 104a-b is folded the along the fourth fold line 108, one of its faces comes against the upper face of the plate 304.

In the embodiment of FIG. 5, the tongue 104a-b extends from the free edge 103a to a fifth fold line 109 parallel to the free edge 103a and the position of the fifth fold line 109 is at the lower face of the plate 304 so that when the tongue 104a-b is folded along the fifth fold line 109, the plate 304 is hidden by the tongue 104a-b.

Between the fifth fold line 109 and the free edge 103a, the tongue 104a-b has a sixth fold line 111, the position of which is such that when the tongue 104a-b is folded along the sixth fold line 111, one of its faces comes against the upper face of the plate 304.

In another embodiment not shown, each tab 104a-b can remain pressed against the inner face of the first side wall 102a-b from which it comes by folding along the fourth fold line 108.

Each central portion 112 is an extension of the second side wall 102c-d to which it is attached and each free portion 114a-b is derived from the cutting of a strip of the first side wall 102a-b close substantially to its middle.

Fig. 7 shows a cardboard blank 700 and allowing by folding and gluing at the gluing surface 10 to produce the cardboard box 100. The fine phantom lines represent the different fold lines.

When the lugs 502 are present, a particular mounting of the box 300 consists in: - producing the cardboard box 100 in the partially folded position as shown in FIG. 1, - to place the cardboard box 100 upside down, that is to say the bottom upwards, - to fold the tabs 104a-b towards the inside of the cardboard box 100, - to push in the corners to form the lugs 502, - to introduce the pallet 300 by the bottom of the cardboard box 100 and to rest the upper face of the plate 302 on the base of each lug 502, - to fold each central portion 112 and each free portion 114a-b to enclose the pallet 300, and - to return the box 300 for filling.

When the lugs 502 are not present, a particular mounting of the box 300 consists of: - making the cardboard box 100 in the partially folded position as shown in FIG. 1, - to place the cardboard box 100 upside down, that is to say the bottom upwards, - to fold the tabs 104a-b towards the inside of the cardboard box 100, - to introduce the pallet 300 by the bottom of the cardboard box 100, the pallet 300 is then maintained by the contact with the tabs 104a-b, - to fold each central portion 112 and each free portion 114a-b to enclose the pallet 300, and - to return the box 300 for its filling.

Another possible assembly, in particular in the absence of pins 502, consists in: - producing the cardboard box 100 in the partially folded position as shown in FIG. 1, - to place the cardboard box 100 upside down, that is to say the bottom upwards, - to fold the tabs 104a-b towards the inside of the cardboard box 100, - to fold back each central portion 112 and each free portion 114a-b to provide the cardboard box 100 in the folded and locked position as shown in FIG. 2, - to return the box 300 in position at the place, and - to introduce the pallet 302 by the top of the cardboard box 100.

Such an assembly is however often more laborious because it is necessary to pass the free parts 114a-b and the tabs 104a-b between the pallet 302 and the side walls 102a-d.

In the embodiment of the invention shown in Figs. 1 and 7, the bonding surface 10 is in the vicinity of the middle of a side wall 102a-d, but it may be at another location, for example in a corner.

The realization of the parallelogram consists in fixing the ends of the blank 700 by covering and fixing the two adhesive strips 13 one on the other to form the bonding surface 10. When the bonding surface 10 is along a wall 102a-d side (here 102d), to avoid that under one of the feet 306, the cardboard box 100 has a double thickness, the cardboard box 100 has in the extension of each adhesive strip 13, a cut 15 of the central portion 112 extending from the end to half the thickness of the bonding strip 13.

Claims (9)

1) Case (300) comprising: - a pallet (302) having a plate (304) and at least two feet (306) disposed under the underside of the plate (304), - a cardboard box (100) comprising: - two first side walls (102a-b) vis-à-vis, each having two joined edges, and two free edges (103a-b) parallel and vis-à-vis, - two second side walls (102c-d) ) facing each other having two joined edges, wherein each joined edge of a side wall (102a-d) is integral with the joined edge of the adjacent side wall (102a-d) so that the side walls (102a-d) -d) form a rectangular parallelepiped, - for each first side wall (102a-b), a tongue (104a-b) formed in said first side wall (102a-b) and extending from the free edge (103a-b) ), and - for each second side wall (102c-d), a strip (11Oc-d) having a central portion (112) integral with said second p lateral aroi (102c-d) along a second fold line (118) and extending between the two first side walls (102a-b), and two free portions (114a-b) extending from other and in the extension of the central portion (112) from a first fold line (116), where each free portion (114a-b) is placed after folding along the first fold line ( 116) against the inner side of the adjacent first side wall (102a-b), wherein each central portion (112) is folded along the second fold line (118) perpendicular to the second side wall ( 102d-c), wherein the pallet (302) is housed in the cardboard box (100) so that the feet (306) rest on the central portions (112), and the free portions (114a-b) are placed between the pallet (302) and the first side walls (102a-b). 2) Case (300) according to claim 1, characterized in that the cardboard box (100) has at each corner between a first side wall (102a-b) and a second side wall (102c-d), a pin ( 502) made by cutting and driving a portion of the corner towards the inside of the cardboard box (100) and in that each free part (114a-b) has a triangular cutout (602) in which the ergot (502). 3) Case (300) according to claim 2, characterized in that the lug (502) has a base at the upper surface of the plate (304). 4) Case (300) according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that each free portion (114a-b) comprises a third fold line (120) which coincides with the upper face of the plate (304). 5) Case (300) according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that each tongue (104a-b) is placed by folding against the inner face of the first side wall (102a-b) from which it is derived. 6) Case (300) according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that each tongue (104a-b) is placed by folding against the upper face of the plate (304). 7) Case (300) according to claim 5, characterized in that each tongue (104a-b) extends from the free edge (103a) to a fourth fold line (108) parallel to the free edge (103a), and in that the position of the fourth fold line (108) is such that when the tongue (104a-b) is folded along the fourth fold line (108), one of its faces comes against the face upper plate (304). 8) Case (300) according to claim 5, characterized in that each tongue (104a-b) extends from the free edge (103a) to a fifth fold line (109) parallel to the free edge (103a), in that the position of the fifth folding line (109) is at the lower face of the plate (304), in that between the fifth fold line (109) and the free edge (103a) the tongue (104a-b) has a sixth fold line (111), and that the position of the sixth fold line (111) is such that when the tongue (104a-b) is folded along the sixth line of folding (111), one of its faces comes against the upper face of the plate (304). 9) Case (300) according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the cardboard box (100) has two adhesive strips (13) which overlap, and in that the cardboard box (100) is present in the extension of each adhesive strip (13), a cutout (15) of the central portion (112) which extends over half the thickness of the bonding strip (13).
