L'invention concerne un dispositif de détection capacitive (10) pour interface utilisateur (1) destiné à détecter la présence d'un objet au voisinage ou au contact d'une façade (11) du dispositif de détection capacitive (10), caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de détection capacitive (10) comporte : - au moins deux électrodes (E1-E5) espacées l'une de l'autre, - au moins une unité d'excitation (12) électriquement connectée aux électrodes (E1-E5), la au moins une unité d'excitation (12) étant configurée pour exciter simultanément au moins deux électrodes (E1-E5) par des signaux d'excitation (S) sensiblement Identiques. L'invention concerne également une interface utilisateur et un procédé de détection capacitive.
