Abstract
Se describen sistemas y métodos para monitorear los fluidos de perforación en tiempo real. Un método incluye hacer circular un fluido de perforación hacia dentro y hacia fuera de un agujero, lo cual genera una primera señal de salida con un primer dispositivo informático óptico dispuesto cerca de una salida del agujero, el primer dispositivo informático óptico tiene un primer elemento computacional integrado configurado para interactuar de forma óptica con el fluido de perforación, recibir la primera señal de salida con un procesador de señal acoplado de forma comunicativa al primer dispositivo informático óptico, determinar la concentración de un gas presente en el fluido de perforación en la salida del pozo con el procesador de señal y generar una señal de salida resultante, transportar la señal de salida resultante a uno o más dispositivos periféricos, y ajustar uno o más parámetros de perforación o terminación en respuesta a la concentración del gas presente en el fluido de perforación.
