Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema (100), método y dispositivo usado para monitorear niveles de fluido en un pozo de perforación (104). El sistema incluye un generador de pulso (120) para generar un pulso de energía electromagnética para propagarlo a lo largo del pozo hacia una superficie del fluido, un detector (122) para detectar una porción del pulso electromagnético reflejado de la superficie del fluido y propagado a lo largo del sondeo de pozo hacia el detector, un procesador (124) para analizar señales detectadas para determinar un nivel de la superficie del fluido, y un retardo digital configurado y arreglado para definir una ventana de tiempo de detección para detectar la porción del pulso electromagnético reflejado de la superficie del fluido.
