Selon d'autres caractéristiques de la structure de joint suivant l'invention prises seules ou en combinaison : les trois plaques sont décalées longitudinalement de manière à créer une double chicane à chaque extrémité de la structure ; le raccordement de structures les unes dans le prolongement des autres est obtenu par aboutage des doubles chicanes des extrémités correspondantes de celles-ci ; les plaques sont constituées de laine de roche ; les plaques sont constituées de laine de verre ; les plaques sont collées les unes sur les autres à l'aide de colle minérale ; la colle minérale utilisée est de la colle silicate ; la matière intumescente est de la peinture intumescente ; la peinture intumescente utilisée est de couleur blanche ; les bords latéraux de cette structure sont biseautés pour faciliter sa mise en place.
