Description
The invention relates to manual control devices that allow their users to manually control the at least partial operation of at least one organ of a system. As known to those skilled in the art, many types of manual control devices have already been proposed. Thus, there are devices of the manual control arranged in the form of a wheel, a rotary knob, a push button (possibly "touch-latch"), a slider (or slider), or a touch sensitive (or digital). The object of the invention is notably to propose a new type of manual control device, giving its user an impression of quality, notably because of the "tactile rendering", and by allowing a movement between the control and its support. . It proposes for this purpose a manual control device, intended to control at least one function provided by at least one member of a system, and comprising: a main rod adapted to be rotatably mounted relative to a support and comprising a front portion adapted to control the function, and - a secondary rod adapted to be mounted in translation relative to the support, under and against the front portion in a direction substantially perpendicular to the latter, and under an elastic restoring force, in order to 25 that a user has a feeling of depression dampened when one of his fingers exerts pressure on the front to control the function. Thus, the main stem provides control of a function by dampening depression, while resembling a kind of "piano key". The use of a rotatably mounted main rod permits movement between the control and its support. This travel allows a user to perceive the activation of a command, including that it performs another task at the same time, such as driving a vehicle. Moreover, the use of a main rod rotatably mounted also allows to have a control of a large size on the surface of the support without occupying an important place in this support. This advantageously facilitates the implementation of such commands on a support. The control device according to the invention may comprise other characteristics which may be taken separately or in combination, and in particular: its main stem may have an intermediate part, interconnecting the front part with an opposite rear part, and of shape rangy. In this case, the front part is disoriented with respect to this intermediate part; the rear part of the main rod can be rotatably mounted relative to the structure. Alternatively, it is the intermediate portion of the main rod which can be rotatably mounted on the structure; in a first embodiment, it may comprise an electronic circuit, on the one hand, comprising interaction means, intended to be installed under a first end of the secondary rod, opposite to the front part, and, on the other hand, arranged to deliver a control signal of the function in case of interaction of this first end with the interaction means following a translation of the secondary rod induced by the exertion of a pressure on the front part ; the interaction means may comprise a two-state pushbutton capable of passing from one state to the other each time it undergoes a pressure of the first end of the secondary rod; - Alternatively, the first end of the secondary rod can be provided with a metal contact. In this case, the interaction means comprise two electrical contact zones adapted to be interconnected by the first end to allow the flow of a current when the latter is translated towards them; in a second embodiment, the front part of the main stem may comprise sensory detection means capable of delivering a control signal of the function when the finger of a user exerts a pressure on them; the secondary rod may be partly housed in the recessed portion of a spiral spring. The invention also proposes a dashboard intended to equip a vehicle, and comprising at least one manual control device of the type of that presented above. The invention also proposes a vehicle, possibly of automobile type, and comprising a dashboard of the type of that presented above. Other features and advantages of the invention will appear on examining the detailed description below, and the accompanying drawings (obtained for some in CAD / DAO, hence the apparently discontinuous character of certain lines and the presence of levels of gray), in which: Figure 1 schematically illustrates, in a perspective view of the front side, a vehicle dashboard equipped with an embodiment of a manual control device according to the invention, and the FIG. 2 schematically illustrates, in a side perspective view, the manual control device of FIG. 1. The object of the invention is in particular to propose a manual control device D intended to allow its user to manually control by pressure the at least partial operation of at least one organ of a system.
In the following, by way of nonlimiting example, the system is considered to be a motor vehicle, for example a car. But the invention is not limited to this type of system. It concerns indeed any type of system comprising at least one member that can be controlled at least partially by at least one manual control device. Thus, it relates to any vehicle, whatever its type (land, sea (or fluvial), or air), household appliances, buildings, and facilities (possibly industrial type).
Furthermore, it is considered in the following, by way of non-limiting example, that the manual control device D is intended to be part of a dashboard PB of the vehicle. But the invention is not limited to this application. Indeed, within a vehicle a manual control device D can be part of another equipment, including a central console or a ceiling or an armrest. Finally, it is considered in the following, by way of non-limiting example, that the manual control device D is intended to control at least partially at least one function of a heating / air conditioning system of the vehicle. But the invention is not limited to the control of this type of function. It concerns indeed any manual control of at least partial operation of at least one organ of a system. FIGS. 1 and 2 diagrammatically show a dashboard PB of a vehicle equipped with several manual control devices D according to the invention. As illustrated non-limitatively in FIGS. 1 and 2, a manual control device D according to the invention comprises at least one main rod TP and a secondary rod TS. The main rod TP is adapted to be rotatably mounted relative to a support (here a dashboard PB) and comprises a front portion PV, adapted to control a function when it is subject to pressure by the one of the fingers of a user, and a rear portion PR, opposite this front portion PV but coupled thereto (PV) via an intermediate portion PI. In what precedes and what follows, the notions of "front" and "rear" designate orientations with respect to the front panel of the dashboard PB, which is oriented towards the passengers of the vehicle. Therefore, a front portion of an element (or component) is located near the front face, while a rear portion of the same element is opposite to the front portion of the latter and therefore remote from the facade 3 o before. For example, and as illustrated without limitation in Figures 1 and 2, the front portion PV may be disoriented with respect to the intermediate portion PI. This disorientation may be intended to facilitate the support of a finger, as well as possibly to ensure an aesthetic function. The value of this disorientation can, as in the nonlimiting example illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, depend on the curvature of the dashboard PB in the implantation zone of the (manual control) device D. Therefore, this disorientation may vary from one implantation zone to another. Similarly, the shape and dimensions of the main rod TP may vary from one implantation area to another. Thus, in the nonlimiting example illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the intermediate portion PI, which interconnects the front and rear portions PR, has an elongated shape. But this is not obligatory.
She could indeed be curvilinear. The secondary rod TS is adapted to be mounted in translation relative to the support PB, under and against the front portion PV in a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the latter (PV), and under an elastic restoring force, so that a The user has an impression of dampening depression when one of his fingers exerts pressure on the front portion PV to control the associated function. The main stem TP is advantageously a kind of "piano key" whose damping depression (by the elastic return force) ensures the control of a function. This also gives an aesthetic effect to the device D. It will be noted that the elastic restoring force can be provided by various means that can be implanted in different locations of the device D. Thus, it is possible to use a spiral spring or a metal blade placed under stress. . For example, the secondary rod TS may be partially housed in the recessed portion of a spiral spring. In this case, when a finger presses the front portion PV (initially in a rest position), the latter (PV) compresses the spiral spring, which tends to automatically push back to its rest position once the function has been ordered and the finger has released its pressure. This spiral spring is for example masked by a deformable CR cover placed under the front part PV and crossed by the secondary rod TS. This cache CR can be made of a synthetic material (possibly woven) or a natural material (such as leather).
Alternatively, the spiral spring (or the metal blade) can be placed (e) under the intermediate portion PI of the main rod TP, in a chosen location, or hooked to an upper face of the main rod TP (in a zone not visible) and to an inner part of the PB instrument panel housing in particular the rear portion PR of the main rod TP and a subpart of the intermediate portion PI of the main rod TP. As illustrated without limitation in FIGS. 1 and 2, the rear portion PR of the main rod TP may be rotatably mounted relative to the structure (here a dashboard PB). In the illustrated example, the rear portion PR has a general shape L and an end (opposite the intermediate portion PI) rotatably mounted on an axis AR which is secured to an inner portion of the dashboard PB. Note that in the non-limiting example illustrated in Figures 1 and 2 the AR axis serves as rotation securing element for several rear parts PR respectively belonging to several devices D. But this is not mandatory. Indeed, each device D could have its own axis of rotation, possibly forming part of its main rod TP. Similarly, it is not mandatory that the rear portion PR of the main rod TP has a general shape in L. Indeed, it could be substantially straight or slightly curvilinear. In an alternative embodiment not shown, the intermediate portion PI of the main rod TP could be rotatably mounted on the structure (here a dashboard PB). The control of the function can be done in different ways.
Ces câbles électriques peuvent, par exemple, passer dans une rainure de la partie intermédiaire PI de la tige principale TP.Thus, the device D can, for example and as illustrated in non-limiting manner in FIG. 2, comprise an electronic circuit CE installed on an internal part of the dashboard PB and masked by the eventual cache CR, and comprising means for MI interaction intended to be installed at a first end of the secondary rod TS, opposite the front portion PV of the main rod TP. In this case, the electronic circuit CE is arranged to deliver a control signal of the function in case of interaction of this first end with the interaction means MI, following a translation of the secondary rod TS induced by the exercise. a pressure on the front portion PV of the main rod TP. For example, the interaction means MI may comprise a push button with two states, able to move from one state to another each time it is under pressure from the first end of the secondary rod TS. Note that this push button may be of touch-latch type. Alternatively, the first end of the secondary rod TS may be provided with a metal contact, and the interaction means MI may comprise two electrical contact zones adapted to be interconnected by the first end of the secondary rod TS to allow the circulation of a current when the latter is translated towards them. In this case, when the two electrical contact zones are interconnected, the interaction means MI are in a first state ("closed") and generate, for example, a first control signal of the function, and when the two electrical contact zones are not interconnected the interaction means MI are in a second state ("open") and generate, for example, a second control signal of the function (different from the first) or no signal. In an alternative embodiment not illustrated, the front portion PV of the main rod TP may comprise sensing detection means (or digital type), capable of delivering a control signal of the function when a finger exerts pressure on them . In this case, two power supply cables are provided to enable the operation of the detection means and a cable for the transport of the control signal. These electrical cables may, for example, pass into a groove of the intermediate portion PI of the main rod TP.
