Description
CHAINE DE DISTRIBUTION D'ALIMENTS POUR LE NOURRISSAGE DES ANIMAUX D'ELEVAGE Domaine technique. The present invention is in the field of equipment and facilities used to regularly dispense food to feeding receptacles for poultry and other farm animals. More specifically, the present invention relates to a food transport and distribution chain to troughs, or feeders or other similar devices of elongate or rounded shape. State of the art Such prior art is known from the state of the art. Typically these latter consist of a tubular body in which evolves a product transport member from a product receiving area that can be equipped with a product storage hopper to distribution holes formed at regular intervals in the body tubular and each associated with a food receptacle which is optionally equipped with a stop member of the flow of the product to prevent overflow. The disadvantage of such material is that not all the containers are at the same time receiving the food products so that the animals are concentrated first around the containers fed first. Also known from the state of the art facilities using a main chain and a secondary chain. The secondary chain is fed by the main chain and the feed receptacles are powered by the secondary chain. Once filled, the secondary chain is activated to feed the various receptacles. The advantage of such an arrangement is that it allows to feed simultaneously all receptacles, its disadvantage is its high cost Exposé of the invention. The present invention aims to provide a solution to the problems mentioned above. For this purpose the distribution chain according to the invention, formed of a tubular element in which is mounted movably a motorized member for transporting products and from a supply of product in communication relationship with the internal volume of the tubular element, towards distribution openings formed radially in the tubular element at regular intervals, said transport element being able to be moved forward and backward, is essentially characterized in that at each distribution opening is associated a valve member that can occupy a closed position of the opening, in which it covers it completely and a delivery position of the opening to allow the flow of products, and that said member (3) is actuated from the position shutter to the delivery position by the transport member (2) from the reverse movement of the latter. Only one motor is used to operate the two transport and valve members, which greatly simplifies the distribution chain and reduces the cost. According to another characteristic of the invention, the valve member is constituted by a hatch movably engaged in or on the tubular element, said hatch being provided with a radial actuating finger engaged in the element tubular, said finger being provided to be snapped by the transport member during the reverse of the latter to bring the hatch in the release position of the opening.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the finger is elastically deformable. Thus when the finger can bend and fade when the transport member is actuated forward and reaches the stop. Thus the transport member is first actuated in the direction of its forward motion so that the tubular body is loaded with food product. This filling may concern the entire transport tube or only the part of the latter assigned to the supply of the receptacles. This filling can be controlled by any known means for example by timing circuits, by detectors or by devices for measuring the distance traveled by the food in the tubular element. After filling, the transport member is actuated in reverse to actuate the hatches to their delivery position and once reached this position, the operation of the transport member is stopped at least the time of unloading products.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the closure position of each valve member is embodied by a stop disposed on the path of said member. According to another characteristic of the invention, the transport member is a worm, the actuating finger being actuated by the thread of the screw. According to another characteristic of the invention, the transport member is formed of a pellet chain, the actuating finger of each flap being actuated by the pellets. The prior arrangements provide for a sequential distribution of the food in the receptacles, that is to say, a supply operated after a sequence of forward, reverse and stopping of the transport member. Brief presentation of figures and drawings. Other objects, advantages and features of the invention will become apparent on reading a preferred embodiment given by way of non-limiting example with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which - FIG. 1 is a diagrammatic view. of a dispensing chain according to a first embodiment of the invention, the valve member being in the closed position - FIG. 2 is a schematic view of a chain according to FIG. the valve being in the delivery position; FIG. 3 is a schematic view of a dispensing chain according to a second embodiment, the valve member being in the closed position; FIG. 4 is a diagrammatic view of a chain according to Figure 3, the valve member being in the delivery position. Best way to realize the invention. In Figures 1 and 2 is shown a food distribution chain with several feed receptacles for livestock such as poultry. This distribution chain is formed of a tubular element 1 in which is moved a member 2 for transporting the products from at least one reserve 3 of product in communication relation with the internal volume of the tubular element 1, towards openings dispenser 10 formed radially in the tubular element 1, in its lower part, at regular intervals, provided for feeding feeding receptacles 4 such as hoppers, troughs and the like. The transport member 2 is driven in a manner known per se, by an electric motor adapted to drive the transport member itself forward while in reverse. According to the invention, at each distribution opening 10 is associated a valve member 3 which can occupy a closed position of the opening 10 in which it covers said opening and a position of release, flow of products, said valve member 3 being actuated from its closed position to the flow position by the transport member from the reverse movement of the latter.
Les extrémités de l'ouverture oblongue 15 constituent respectivement les butées 11 et 12.According to a first practical embodiment, the valve member 3 is formed by a hatch, for example in the form of a sleeve, slidably mounted on the tubular element 1. This valve member 3 is preferably biased by an elastic return member 30 towards the closed position, materialized by a stop 11 fixedly installed the tubular element 1. A stop 12 fixedly installed on the spacer tube of the previous materializes the release position of the opening. In this position the valve member 3 is spaced from the opening 10. The hatch 3 on its underside face (face turned towards the internal volume of the tubular element 1) is provided with a projecting projection of a radial finger 32 of actuation, engaged in the tubular element 1 by passage through the corresponding opening distribution 10. This finger is intended to be snapped by the transport member 2 during the reverse of the latter to drive the valve member 3 to the delivery position. The drive towards this position is effected against the action exerted by the elastic return member 30 so that as soon as this training action ceases, the hatch 3 under the effect of the action only of the elastic member 30, is returned to the closed position of the opening 10. Preferably the radial finger 32 is elastically deformable. Thanks to such an arrangement when the valve member is in the closed position, in abutment against the abutment 11, and when the transport member 2 is actuated in the direction of travel, the finger 32, under the effect of the action of the transport member 2 can flex elastically and fade from the path of said transport member. When the transport member 2 is moving in reverse, the force exerted on the finger 32 by this member is equal, in intensity, to the force exerted on the hatch by the elastic member 30. This force is relatively weak and does not may oppose the movement of the door to the release position of the opening 10 and is not sufficient to cause pronounced flexion of the radial finger 32. On the other hand when the door reaches the release position and bears against the stop 12, the action exerted by the transport member increases in intensity which forces the deflection of the radial finger 32. The transport member can then cross the radial finger 2. It is understood that the maximum volume of the the amount of food product that can be dispensed during a reverse to each receptacle depends in particular on the internal volume of the tubular element, measured between two successive openings. Several cycles of loading and reversing may be necessary for filling the receptacles, but by judicious sizing of the tubular element and the transport member, the required quantity can be poured at once. It should be noted that thanks to the previously described arrangements receptacles are simultaneously fed food product. Figures 3 and 4 show a second embodiment of the invention. The hatch 3, in the form of a sleeve, is slidably mounted in the tubular element 1. This hatch 3 comprises a guide tail 34 engaged in a specific oblong through opening 15, formed in the upper part of the tubular element 1 to the opposite of the dispensing opening 10. The ends of the oblong opening 15 respectively constitute the abutments 11 and 12.
The hatch is further provided with a radial through opening 35 coming to the release position of the opening 10 facing the latter. The transport member 2 can be constituted by an endless screw of the Archimedes type, but also by a pellet chain defining cells or by any other means known to those skilled in the art such as a flat chain with cells. of the type used for the distribution of food. It goes without saying that the present invention can receive any arrangements and variants of the field of technical equivalents without departing from the scope of this patent as defined by the claims below.
