Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de production d'électricité destiné à alimenter en énergie électrique un dispositif d'un aéronef. Ce système comprend un générateur (10) d'hydrogène gazeux à partir d'hydrogène sous forme non-gazeuse, un réservoir principal (30) connecté en son amont au générateur (10) et destiné à contenir de l'hydrogène gazeux sous une pression sensiblement supérieure à la pression atmosphérique, cet hydrogène gazeux étant produit par le générateur (10), au moins une pile à combustible (50), un détendeur (40) connecté en son amont au réservoir principal (30) et en son aval à la (ou les) pile à combustible (50), l'amont et l'aval étant définis par rapport au sens de circulation de l'hydrogène en conditions normales de fonctionnement du système, un dispositif de commande (70) qui régule le débit et la pression d'hydrogène gazeux du réservoir principal (30) vers la (ou les) pile à combustible (50) par l'intermédiaire du détendeur (40).
