The invention relates to the guidance of downward windows in the doors of motor vehicles. The guidance of a window is conventionally achieved by means of a pair of slides in which are received the side edges of the window. A slider generally comprises a guide strand made of a flexible material such as rubber, provided with lips which ensure the maintenance of a edge of the window and mounted in a sliding frame in the form of a plastic profile (or metal) with U section. Given the flexibility of the guide strand, the problem arises of its attachment to the sliding frame, the only interlocking is not sufficient to ensure its maintenance. This problem, known for a long time, has given rise to various solutions. Thus, it is known to ensure this fixation by means of attached clips biting both in the guide strand and in the sliding frame, cf. eg. French patent FR 1 494 238. But this solution requires the production and assembly of additional parts (the staples), which furthermore can damage the guide strand, to the detriment of guiding and sealing. It is also known to provide the guide strand rigid parts forming a toggle intended for deformation by force, to ensure the locking of the strand in the sliding frame. This solution, however, requires a bimaterial embodiment of the sliding strand, a relatively complex technique. In addition, given the aging of the materials (including elastomeric parts), the holding of this assembly over time is not demonstrated, and may result in a fault guide and a seal fault. A first objective is to improve the guidance of windows in motor vehicles. A second objective is to improve the sealing of window guiding systems in motor vehicles.
A third objective is to improve the mechanical strength of a guide strand relative to the sliding frame.
It is proposed, in the first place, a guide slide of a motor vehicle window, which comprises: a sliding frame, in the form of a rigid or semi-rigid U-section section comprising a bottom and two side walls , the bottom being provided with an indentation; a flexible side guiding strand of the window, fitted in the sliding frame and comprising a core and two lateral flanks, this guide strand being provided with a dovetail-sectioned heel protruding from its core, one of which base is wider than a width of the notch, the heel being received in the notch to maintain the strand relative to the slide frame. Various additional features may be provided, alone or in combination: the web of the slide strand is arcuate, and the heel protrudes from a vertex of the soul; the strand has, at the junction between the soul and the flanks, seats intended to be applied against the bottom of the sliding frame, and the heel extends projecting beyond the seat; the heel is provided with bulges, on both sides of its base; - the heel extends locally; the heel is located in the vicinity of one end of the guide strand; the heel extends substantially rectilinearly; the strand has protruding tabs in the extension of the soul, adapted to constrain the strand in the guide slide. It is proposed, secondly, a motor vehicle door, comprising a window and a sliding guide of the window as shown above. It is proposed, thirdly, a motor vehicle equipped with such a door. Other objects and advantages of the invention will become apparent in the light of the description of a preferred embodiment, given hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing a motor vehicle door equipped with a movable window; Figure 2 is a perspective detail view showing the assembly of a guide slide of the window shown in Figure 1; Figure 3 is a view similar to Figure 2, showing the assembled guide slide; FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the slide of FIG. 3. FIG. 1 schematically illustrates a door 1 of a motor vehicle equipped with a down-window 2 whose lifting and lowering movement is controlled by a window lift. manual or motorized (not shown). In order to ensure a precise movement of the window in its lifting or lowering movement, the door 1 incorporates a pair of guides 3 for guiding the window. Each slide 3 comprises, for guiding each edge 4 of the window 2: a sliding frame 5, in the form of a rigid (for example metal) or semi-rigid (for example in a plastic such as PVC) section ) with U section; a flexible side guide strand 6 of the window 2, fitted into the sliding frame 5. The sliding frame 5 has a substantially planar bottom 7 and two opposite lateral walls 8, which are substantially planar as well. The guide strand 6 comprises meanwhile a core 9 and two side flanks. The flanks 10 are provided, at their respective upper ends, with flexible lips 11 bent towards the inside of the strand 6, which jointly ensure the tight holding and guiding of the edge 4 of the pane 2, as shown in dashed lines in FIG. As can be seen in FIGS. 2 to 4, the slider 3 is equipped, in the vicinity of an end 12 (for example at a lower end), with a system 13 for attaching the strand 6 to the frame 5. slide. This hooking system 13 comprises: a notch 14 formed in the bottom 7 of the slide frame 5, preferably substantially rectilinear in the main direction of extension of the frame 5 (which corresponds substantially to the vertical direction when the slide 3 is mounted in the door 1, a heel 15 of dovetail section formed projecting on the core 9 of the guide strand 6, the heel 15 being received (once the frame 5 and the strand 6 assembled) in the 14 to maintain the strand 6 with respect to the sliding frame 5. This heel 15 is also substantially rectilinearly formed in the main direction of extension of the strand 6. As can be seen in FIGS. 4, the heel 15 has a body 16 (by which the heel 15 connects to the core 9) whose width is less than a width of the notch 14 so as to allow the mounting of the heel 15 in the notch 14 , and a base 17 (the opposite of the 9) whose width is greater than the width of the notch 14, so as to ensure the retention of the heel 15 and maintain the strand 6 relative to the frame 5. According to a particular embodiment, illustrated in the figures, the heel 15 is provided, on either side of the base 17, with beads 18 which increase the width of the base 17 and thus minimize the risk of tearing off the heel 15 of the notch 14.
As can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4, the core 9 of the strand 6 is preferably arcuate, with an outwardly facing concavity (that is to say towards the bottom 7 of the frame 5), and the strand 6 has, on either side of the core 9, at the junction between the latter and the flanks 10, projecting seats 19 which, when the strand 6 is mounted in the frame 5, come s' 7. In addition, the strand 6 may have projecting lateral tabs in the extension of the web 9 beyond (laterally) the sidewalls, these tabs 20 being adapted to constrain the strand 6 in the frame. 5 slide when the strand 6 is forced into it.
As can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4, the heel 15 advantageously protrudes from an apex 21 of the thus arcuate core 9, beyond the seats 19, so as to exert on the core 9 a bending force which tends to crush the tongues 20 against the walls 8 of the frame 5, thereby improving the overall strength of the strand 6 therein.
As explained above, the attachment system 13 is preferably located near an end 12 of the slide 3. In this case, the notch 14 and the heel 15 extend locally, respectively in the vicinity of one end (or at one end) of the frame 5 and the strand 6. According to an embodiment illustrated in the figures, the indentation 14 opens at one end of the frame 5, and the heel extends to the end of the strand 6, which facilitates the sliding installation of the strand 6 in the frame 5, as illustrated by the arrow in Figure 2. This fastening system 13 has the following advantages. First, it improves the mechanical strength of the slide strand 6 with respect to the guide 5 of the slide avoiding its tearing. The fact that the fastening system 13 is located near an end 12 (preferably lower) of the slide 3 facilitates assembly while not substantially increasing the risk of tearing, since it starts from At one end of the guide, the window in the raised position is furthest away and the holding of the strand in the frame is naturally the least rigid. Secondly, the more intimate attachment of the slide strand 6 with respect to the frame 5 makes it possible to guarantee a better seal of the slide 3. Third, the good mechanical strength of the strand 6 with respect to the frame 5 makes it possible to improve the guiding of the window 2, for the benefit of the general reliability of the window lift system.
