Abstract

L'invention .concerne un système de freinage d'une roue d'un véhicule comprenant un disque fixé sur un moyeu de la roue, une première et une deuxième plaquette de frein disposées de part et d'autre du disque, une chape (11) destinée à être fixée avec une carrosserie du véhicule, la chape (11) étant munie d'au moins une cavité (33) et un étrier (10) mobile par rapport à la chape (11), ledit étrier (10) comportant au moins une colonnette (30) insérée dans la cavité (33) de la chape (11) apte à guider les déplacements de l'étrier (10) en translation par rapport à la chape (11), caractérisé en ce que le système de freinage comporte un dispositif de mesure du déplacement de l'au moins une colonnette (30), et un indicateur indiquant l'état d'usure des plaquettes de freins à partir d'une mesure fournie par le dispositif de mesure.
