Description

The present invention relates to a cap device with removable visor. In general, a cap has two parts, a cap adapted to be secured on the user's head and allowing its maintenance, and a visor extending from said cap and which is provided to protect said user from an excess of light, especially sunlight. The cap is generally made of fabric, and consists of several pieces assembled by stitching, while the visor can, depending on its use, be made of different materials, preferably rigid or semi-rigid to ensure a certain hold. Moreover, the visors can be of different dimensions also depending on their use. Thus, a visor may consist of a piece of cardboard or plastic material inserted into a fabric sheath, or of a piece of plastic material assembled to the cap by gluing or stitching. The main disadvantage of caps is that they are not versatile, and that different situations correspond to different caps. To overcome this drawback, it has been proposed caps whose visor is removable, so as to allow 25 to choose the visor best suited to the use of the moment. The document FR 2 765 458 proposes such a cap, where the visor has a concave edge in an arc of a circle intended to be attached to the cap, and which is provided with a wall 30 substantially perpendicular to said visor, in order to be secured, reversibly, to said cap, through fastening means gripping bands type. Although a cap of this design makes it possible to easily replace a visor, it nevertheless has the disadvantage of a complexity of manufacture, in particular as regards the visors, in particular as regards the perpendicular fixing wall. Furthermore, this perpendicular wall attachment requires that the material used is at least semi-rigid.

In addition, the fastening means used requires that the positioning before joining is very precise, which often requires several attempts, the gripping strips tend to become fixed before positioning. The object of the present invention is to propose a device with a removable visor, of simple design, making it possible to remedy the disadvantages of the existing devices. The cap device with removable visor according to the invention comprises two parts, a cap adapted to be secured to the user's head and allowing its maintenance, and a visor which extends from said cap, said visor having a concave edge in an arc of a circle intended to be attached to the cap, while it is secured to said cap through reversible fixing means, and is essentially characterized in that said cap comprises, integral with the edge from which extends said visor, two parallel strips extending outwards, intended to grip said concave edge in an arc of a circle of the visor, said strips being provided with snaps, each of which a first part is secured to a strip while the second part is secured to the other band to the right of said first part, so that they can be assembled to one another by passing through one of them. e holes that includes said visor near and along said concave edge in a circular arc. According to an additional characteristic of the cap device according to the invention, the distance separating each of the snaps from the edge of the cap is equal to the distance which separates the edge of the visor from the corresponding hole made in the visor, kind of create some tension in the assembly.

According to another additional feature of the cap device according to the invention, it comprises three snaps, one in the middle of the strips, and each of the other two at one end of said strips.

En effet, le bord 30 vient en appui serré contre le fond 24 de la gorge 23.The advantages and characteristics of the cap device according to the invention will emerge more clearly from the description which follows and which refers to the attached drawing, which represents a non-limiting embodiment thereof. In the accompanying drawing: - Figure 1 shows a schematic perspective view of a cap device according to the invention. - Figure 2 shows a schematic perspective and exploded view of the same cap device. FIGS. 3a and 3b show diagrammatic views in section of a part of the same cap device, in two different configurations. With reference to Figures 1 and 2, we can see a cap device 1 according to the invention. This cap device 1 comprises a cap 2 20 intended to be secured on the head of the user, and a visor 3 reversibly securable to the cap 2 along a portion of the edge 20 thereof. The visor 3 is contiguous to the cap through a concave edge 30 in an arc, allowing to fit the shape of the cap 2, especially at the edge 20. Also referring to FIGS. 3a and 3b, can see that the cap 2 has at its edge 20, two parallel strips 21 and 22, respectively upper and lower, which extend outwardly and which delimit between them a groove 23, and which have a shape in convex circle arc. These strips 21 and 22 are provided with regularly distributed snap fasteners 4, of which a first part 40 is integral with the upper band 21, while the second part 41 is integral with the lower band 22 while being in line with the first one. part 40 to allow the joining of the two parts 40 and 41, and thus the joining of the two strips 21 and 22. The visor 3 comprises along the edge 30 and in the vicinity thereof, holes 31 arranged so as to coincide with 5 the snaps 4 of the strips 21 and 22. The visor 3 is introduced by its edge 30 into the groove 23 between the strips 21 and 22 by putting the snaps 4 against the holes 31, FIG. 3a, and then to fix the visor 3, the parts 40 and 41 of the snaps 4 are assembled, Figure 3b. The concave shape of the edge 30 associated with the convex shape of the strips 21 and 22, and the fastening by snaps 4, provide good fastening. The matching of the snaps 4 with the 15 holes 31 ensures a perfect positioning of the visor 3 on the cap 2, which can be done quickly. The installation or removal of the visor 3 is carried out easily and quickly, more rapidly, in particular for laying, than a visor of the caulking device of the document FR 2 765 20 458. Preferably, the snaps 4 are at number of three, one in the middle, each of the other two at one end. As can be seen in FIGS. 3a and 3b, the distance between the holes 31 and the edge 30 is chosen according to the location of the snaps 4 on the strips 21 and 22, so as to create some tension favoring the maintenance of the visor 3. Indeed, the edge 30 bears tightly against the bottom 24 of the groove 23.

It should be noted that such a tension is of course dependent on the nature of the materials used and on the rigidity of the visor 3 and the elasticity of the material from which the strips 21 and 22 are made.
