Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle including two side rails (2a, 2b) connected via a cross-member (3) for supporting a bumper, one of the side rails (2a) including a means for receiving a member (7) for towing the vehicle, said towing member projecting beyond the bumper and being capable of engaging with a first bore (8) located on the cross-member (3), thereby forming an area (9) for attaching the towing member (7). The chassis (1) includes a reinforcement means (10) capable of reducing the risk of the towing member (7) being deformed. The reinforcement means (10) includes a plate mounted onto the front cross-member (3), said plate matching the shape of the outer surface (3b) of the attachment area (9).
