Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de localisation des roues (R1, R2, R3, R4) d'un véhicule automobile (1), comportant chacune une unité roue (WU1, WU2, WU3, WU4) ayant un identifiant propre et ledit véhicule comportant au moins trois antennes. L'invention réside en ce que la détermination de la localisation de l'unité roue par l'unité centrale (2) du véhicule consiste à : • Appliquer, pour chaque identifiant, au nombre de signaux reçus par l'unité centrale, une fonction de transfert spécifique à chaque antenne, • Calculer un nombre par multiplication des fonctions de transferts entre elles de manière à ce qu'elles représentent les positions spécifiques avant droit, avant gauche, arrière droit, arrière gauche sur le véhicule (1), • Localiser les unités roues, par détermination pour chaque position spécifique représentée par les fonctions de transferts de l'identifiant correspondant au nombre P le plus grand.
