L'ensemble de décoration comporte : - un élément structurel, - un élément décoratif supérieur, également appelé bandeau, fixé avec l'élément structurel au moyen de premiers moyens de fixation, - des moyens de renfort, reliant l'élément décoratif supérieur avec l'élément structurel. Lorsque le coussin gonflable se déploie, il exerce un important effort sur l'élément décoratif supérieur, et sur les premiers moyens de fixation, si bien que ces premiers moyens de fixation risqueraient de rompre et que l'élément décoratif supérieur risquerait d'être projeté par le coussin gonflable dans l'habitacle du véhicule automobile, s'ils n'étaient pas renforcés par les moyens de renfort.
