Abstract

The device has multiple supports (3) fixed against a transparent wall or vertical partition (1) for receiving articles, and multiple through holes (2) formed in the wall or partition. The supports are fixed to shafts (4) whose length is greater than thickness of the wall or partition and diameter is smaller than or equal to diameter of the through holes. A self-tightening body is provided at a free end of each support to favor stability of the support. Description

DEVICE FOR PRESENTING ARTICLES. FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a display, more particularly intended to be set up in stores, and whose purpose is to highlight the items presented and intended to be marketed.

This display is also likely to be implemented at exhibitions and other 10 events of the same type.

PRIOR ART

We know all the interest in the presentation of articles to be marketed, in particular to attract the barge and corollary of inducing sales.

In addition to conventional shelves, various types of displays have been developed and widely used, including that of combining a rigid plate comprising an array of through holes and means for suspending and securing articles (see for example FR-2,533 429). In addition to a reduced aesthetic, these displays are not suitable for viewing articles in optimum conditions in two opposite directions. In particular, when it is desired to set up such displays at a showcase, only passers-by outside the store are likely to view the items in question through said showcase. On the other hand, said articles are no longer viewable from inside the magazine. Moreover, the vision towards the interior of the store is itself obscured.

Also known are shelves consisting of shelves or horizontal supports that can be attached to the side walls located on either side of said window and then allowing, in this case, effectively a visualization of the items marketed or offered to the sale from outside the store, but also from the inside. On the other hand, we come up against the difficulty born of the phenomena of theft of the articles thus presented, phenomena unfortunately in a clear recrudescence.

The invention therefore has the primary objective of providing a display of the type in question, combining aesthetics, modularity, increased accessibility to the articles presented, and security vis-à-vis theft. 1 STATEMENT OF THE INVENTION

For this purpose, the invention proposes a device for presenting articles comprising at least one wall or vertical partition, against which are fixed one or more supports adapted to receive said articles.

According to the invention: the wall or vertical partition is pierced with a plurality of through orifices; the one or more supports are secured to at least one axis, of greater length than the thickness of the partition or wall, of diameter less than or equal to the diameter of the through orifices, said axis being further provided at its free end, that is to say opposite to its zone of attachment to the support, a self-tightening member adapted to promote the stability of said support.

According to an advantageous characteristic of the invention, the wall or partition is transparent. For this purpose, it may be made of glass, especially tempered glass or laminated glass, or polycarbonate or polymethylmethacrylate, the important residing in the transparent nature. In doing so, such a wall can be placed vis-à-vis a window and thus promote the visualization of the items presented both side of the window and outside the store, as from inside the latter.

According to a variant of the preceding characteristic, the wall or partition may be translucent, or even opaque.

According to another advantageous characteristic of the invention, this wall is removable or movable. It may in particular be hinged by means of hinges on either side of the bay window constituting the window opposite which it is likely to be arranged. In doing so, on the one hand, accessibility is favored for setting up or removing the articles present on the supports, and on the other hand, said wall can be locked by any known mechanism, such as in particular a latch, effectively enclosing, in the volume defined by the bay window overlooking the outside of the store and by said partition or wall, the articles in question, thus allowing them to be removed from theft.

According to the invention, the support may consist of a flat or profiled tablet depending on the aesthetics that one wishes to confer on the presentation. Each of said shelves has at least two attachment axes on the wall, of the type previously described. According to another characteristic of the invention, the through orifices formed in the wall, are regularly distributed in determined steps both in the direction of the length and in the direction of the height.

In doing so, the modularity of the presentation is considerably increased, the two axes formed at each of the supports corresponding obviously to the length step of the through holes formed in the wall.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES The manner in which the invention can be realized and the advantages that result therefrom will emerge more clearly from the exemplary embodiment which follows, given by way of indication and not by way of limitation, in support of the appended figures.

Figure 1 is a schematic perspective representation of the presentation device according to the invention. Figures 2 and 3 are schematic representations in perspective tending to illustrate the manner of fixing the supports on the wall according to the invention. Figure 4 is a side view of Figures 2 and 3. Figure 5 is an exploded diagrammatic representation of the device for attaching said supports to the wall.

EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

Basically, the display of the invention comprises a partition or wall (1), in this case vertical, and advantageously made of transparent material, typically polycarbonate or laminated glass or tempered glass.

This vertical partition has, in the example described, intended to be positioned vis-à-vis 30 a bay window defining the storefront of a store, and extending substantially over the entire width of said bay window.

Having to serve as a support for a number of articles to be offered for sale, and generally to present, the partition or wall (1) must of course have the necessary mechanical resistance and be sized accordingly, especially in terms of According to the invention, this partition is pierced with a multitude of through holes (2), and advantageously regularly distributed in a step, particularly in length, constant.

The support or supports (3) are in this case made of shelves made of any material. They are intended to be horizontal, but it is conceivable, however, because of the distribution of the through-holes, and as necessary, that they adopt any other orientation.

The axis or axes (4) are typically made of metal or alloys of metals, and for example steel, and are therefore secured to the support. For this purpose, the axis (4) is extended by a substantially flat portion (5), parallel to said shelf and allowing the attachment thereof by riveting or screwing (6), or by any appropriate means to ensure this fixation . To do this, the flat portion (5) is provided with a bore (7) adapted to receive the screw or the rivet (6).

The axis itself has a length greater than the thickness of the wall and a diameter less than or equal to that of the through holes to allow it to pass through said orifices.

The portion (5) is bounded by an area (8) extending perpendicularly to said portion and intended to serve as wedging of the axis (4), and therefore corollary of the support (3) against the partition (1). ) (see Figure 4).

At its free end, the axis (4) is called to cooperate with a self-tightening member of the key type (12). The latter is capable, after insertion of the axis (4) in one of the through holes (2) of the partition or wall (1) and out of said orifice 30 on the opposite side to the face receiving the support, s orient perpendicular to the main dimension of said axis, and come to bear against the wall or partition (1).

For this purpose, said free end (10) of the axis (4) is provided with a through hole (11) defining a slot, within which is inserted said key (12). The latter is retained in this slot by means of a tip or equivalent (14), received in a bore (9) formed along a diameter of said axis.

In doing so, the key (12), provided with a light (13), is rotatable freely with respect to this point (14), and thus adopt the proper orientation.

The shape of the key, in this case oblong, having a greater width at one of its ends relative to the other, to allow to exert traction on the axis (4) in an opposite direction on the face of the wall receiving the support, firstly by simple gravity, then by pressure exerted by the user. In doing so, and as a corollary, it ensures a permanent self-tightening of the axis and fact, the tablet or the support against the opposite side of said wall.

According to the invention, each of the shelves is in fact secured to two of these axes in order to allow it to be fixed against the wall, and to optimize its stability. Obviously, the spacing between the two axes corresponds to the pitch between two consecutive through holes located on the same horizontal plane. According to an advantageous characteristic of the invention, the wall or partition (1) is removable and in particular movable at a hinge (not shown), thus allowing its opening and its flap. In doing so, it is possible to access the various supports that the wall has to allow the setting up of articles or their renewal. According to one embodiment of the invention, said partition extends opposite the window or between fixed walls located on either side of the window-glass constituting the window, or between walls, also positioned in the window. both sides of said bay window. In this way, a volume is defined in which the one or more supports 25 attached to said partition can be positioned.

Because of the transparent nature of the latter, articles and other products that may be present on the support (s) are visible both from outside the store through the window and from the inside. In addition, this wall can be locked by any means, and no access being possible other than by its unlocking due to its positioning according to the embodiment described above, it eliminates the risk of theft likely to occur. without affecting the aesthetics of the display, nor the visual accessibility to its contents. The dimensions of the shelves constituting the supports can also be chosen for when they are positioned adjacent and in the same horizontal plane, present a certain continuity in a concern for aesthetics.

In addition, because of the multiplicity of through holes formed in the wall, one conceives the decline and adaptable character almost to infinity of the display.

We understand the whole point of the invention which, by simple means, makes it possible to guarantee an optimal visibility of articles that one wishes to offer for sale or to sell, or in a general way, simply to present or to expose , in safe conditions of reliability and with an accentuated aesthetic character.

REVENDICATIONS1.
