Abstract

TECHNICAL AREA

[0001] The invention relates to the field of displays for wristwatches. The invention relates more particularly to an individual display stand intended to receive a single wristwatch.

Most displays allow you to showcase several wristwatches which can be arranged in different configurations, particularly in luxury store windows. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The invention relates to a display stand for a wristwatch comprising a removable handle, a support, and a lock cylinder. The removable handle can be assembled and disassembled from the bracket and locked to the bracket by means of the lock cylinder. The removable handle includes a ring around which the wristwatch can be tightened, and a lock housing secured within the ring 8, the housing comprising a cavity for insertion of the lock barrel. The holder includes a head with a U-shaped wall having a back wall and side walls, one of the side walls including a key insertion hole, the ring being mountable between the side walls in a position permitting insertion of the lock cylinder through the lock insertion hole and the recess in the lock housing to lock the removable handle to the bracket. The back wall is configured to cover at least a closure portion of a ring-mounted wristwatch.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERENTIAL EMBODIMENT

Referring to the figures, the display stand 1 comprises a removable handle 2, a support 4, and a lock cylinder 6. The removable handle 2, the support 4 and the lock cylinder 6 can be assembled together in order to support and locking a single wristwatch in a secure manner while allowing people to approach and view the watch and its bracelet almost entirely.

The lock housing further includes a locking notch 26 formed in a side edge 24 to allow a locking finger 20 of the lock barrel 6 to engage in the notch to block the barrel 6 in the lock housing 10.

The support 4 comprises a head 12 fixed to a support such as a rod 14 which can be fixed and at its other end (not illustrated) to a fixed or removable base in order to maintain the rod in a given position, for example vertical example, for the presentation of the wristwatch at a certain height and position relative to the base. The head 12 further comprises positioning stops 34, forming stops against which the back of the ring 8 comes to bear when the ring is assembled with the head 12. Claims (11)

1. Display stand for wristwatches (1) comprising a removable handle (2), a support (4), and a lock barrel (6) with a barrel body (16) and a cylinder (18), the removable handle (2) capable of being assembled and disassembled from the support (4) and locked to the support by means of the lock cylinder, the removable handle comprising a ring (8) around which the wristwatch can be tightened, and a lock housing ( 10) being fixed inside the ring 8, the housing comprising a cavity (22) for inserting the lock cylinder, the support comprising a head (12) with a U-shaped wall (28) having a wall back (30) and side walls (36a, 36b), one of the side walls comprising a key insertion hole (40), the ring (8) being mountable between the side walls (36a, 36b) in a position allowing insertion of the lock cylinder through the lock insertion hole (40) and the cavity (22) in the lock housing (10) to lock the removable handle (2) to the support (4), the back wall being configured to cover at least one closing part (5) of a wristwatch (3) mounted on the ring (8). 2. Display according to the preceding claim, characterized in that a keying element (42) of the head (12) cooperating with a keying element (44) of the barrel body (16) is arranged on the side wall (36a) comprising the lock insertion hole (40) and constituted by a shape of the lock insertion hole (40) corresponding to the sectional profile of the lock cylinder (6). 3. Display according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the lock cylinder (6) comprises an axis (21) protruding from one end of the barrel body (16) and which can be inserted into an axis hole (38) in the side wall (36b) spaced from the side wall (36a) including the key insertion hole (40). 4. Display according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the head (12) of the support (4) comprises positioning stops (34) against which a back of the ring (8) bears, the positioning stops (34 ) being fixed to the side walls (36a), (36b) respectively. 5. Display according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the head (12) is rigidly fixed, for example by means of welding, to a rod (14). 6. Display according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the side walls (36a, 36b) comprise a part having a shape corresponding to the profile of the lock housing (10). 8. Display according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a locking finger (20) is fixed to the cylinder (18) of the lock barrel (6), the locking finger (20) in an unlocked position being at the inside the profile of the barrel body (16), and pivotable in a finger notch (46) to a locked position where the end of the locking finger (20) protrudes relative to an exterior surface of the barrel body barrel (16), the end of the locking finger (20) engaging in a locking notch (26) of the lock housing (10) of the removable handle (2). 9. Display according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the lock cylinder (6) comprises lock pins (50) pressed by springs against a groove in the cylinder (18) of the lock cylinder in a locked position to slow down the rotation of the cylinder. 10. Display according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the U-shaped wall (28) of the support (4) is formed from a stamped and folded metal sheet. 11.
