L'invention a donc pour objet un véhicule automobile comprenant un capot avant, déplaçable entre une position fermée et une position ouverte, destiné à être monté en amont d'un pare-chocs et en aval d'un pare-brise, ledit capot étant notamment destiné à recouvrir en partie le groupe moto-propulseur du véhicule dans sa position fermée et comprenant des moyens de maintien destinés à maintenir le capot dans sa position ouverte, caractérisé en ce qu'en position ouverte, lesdits moyens de maintien coopèrent avec des moyens correspondants disposés au niveau du toit du véhicule.
