Abstract
Description
The present invention is in the field of filter cartridge cleaning and washing. In known manner, a filter cartridge is used for the filtration of a circulating fluid within a network, in particular the filtration of water within a collective or domestic installation, including a swimming pool. The use of such filter cartridges requires their periodic cleaning. Many devices exist for filter cartridge cleaning at the community level. For the most part, they consist of a washing machine of industrial type, having a drum inside which is fixed the filtering cartridge to be washed. This drum is motorized in rotation, inducing a movement similar to the cartridge to improve its cleaning. However, such devices are expensive, large and bulky so that they are difficult to implement for individuals. In addition, they generate a significant energy cost.
For individuals, it has been devised decant cleaning devices, of smaller size, in the form of a cylindrical tank inside which is placed the cartridge to be washed for a given time, the tank being filled with a liquid having cleaning agents. In addition, motorization means allow rotation of the cartridge inside the enclosure during the necessary settling time. Such devices do not however provide complete satisfaction with the quality of cleaning of the cartridge, not to mention the energy expenditure related to the motorization. The invention aims to overcome the disadvantages of the state of the art by proposing a filter cartridge cleaning device shaped specifically for individuals and without motorization, reducing the costs associated with its operation. To do this, the cleaning device according to the invention comprises an enclosure provided, on the one hand, with a washing fluid inlet and a wastewater recovery outlet after cleaning and, on the other hand, with means for reception in free rotation of said cartridge, characterized in that it comprises, connected to said inlet, at least one projection nozzle of said washing fluid mounted inside said enclosure so as to orient the jet of projection to induce a rotational torque to said cartridge.
Thus, the free rotation of the cartridge inside the device allows, under the action of the tangential projection of cleaning liquid, to induce a rotational movement without motorization. In addition, adjustment of the angle of incidence of the nozzle makes it possible to adjust the speed of rotation of the cartridge. In addition, such a device reduces the consumption of cleaning liquid, in particular water, and allows the recovery of wastewater for treatment. Other features and advantages of the invention will emerge from the following detailed description of non-limiting embodiments of the invention, with reference to the appended figures in which: FIG. 1 represents an exploded perspective view of a embodiment of the device according to the invention; - Figure 2 is a longitudinal sectional view along the axis A-A '; and - Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view along the axis B-B '. The present invention relates to a filter cartridge cleaning device 1. It should be noted that cleaning within said device 1 takes place through a cleaning fluid, in particular water. To this fluid may be mixed adjuvants and specific cleaning agents depending on the type of filter cartridge 2 to be washed. Such a device 1 comprises an enclosure inside which is disposed said cartridge 2 for cleaning. Said enclosure may be of any shape, particularly in the embodiment shown in a non-limiting manner, in cylindrical form. This enclosure may be arranged horizontally or vertically, the latter case being shown in the accompanying figures. Said enclosure comprises a body 3 integral at one of its ends with a bottom 4 and closed by a cover 5 at the opposite end. According to the embodiment shown, the cover 5, removably provided for inserting and extracting said cartridge from the enclosure, seals said enclosure in the upper part, in particular through suitable means such as seals. Conversely, in the lower part, the bottom 4 may have orifices 6 for the flow of wastewater, the latter being then recovered in a tray 7. The latter can be connected to an outlet 8, connected to a network of recovery of wastewater, such as a domestic network, or to suitable reprocessing means. According to another embodiment, not shown, each orifice 6 may be directly connected to an outlet. Furthermore, the bottom 4 may comprise on its underside seating means, in particular in the form of pads 9 so as to raise the bottom relative to said tray 7 or with respect to the surface on which the device 1 rests. In addition, said enclosure is provided, on the one hand, with at least one inlet 10 of the washing fluid and one outlet for recovering wastewater after cleaning, in particular the tank 7 connected to the outlet 8. According to a first essential characteristic of the invention, said enclosure comprises means 11 for receiving free rotation of said cartridge 2. In particular, such means 11 ensure the maintenance of the cartridge 2 at one of its ends, immobilizing it in 35 enclosure while allowing its rotation. To do this, according to the embodiment shown, said receiving means 11 comprise a rotary plate 12 integral with said bottom 4 and mounted on rolling means 13, in particular at least one ball bearing. Said plate 12 is surmounted by hooking means of said cartridge 2, in particular at one of its ends. As can be seen in FIG. 2, these hooking means are in the form of a rod 15 secured in the lower part of said plate 12 and intended to fit inside said cartridge 2.
As such, it will be noted that the cartridge 2 has a tubular, hollow cylindrical shape. In addition, said rod 15 has in the upper part lugs 16 bearing on the inner wall of said cartridge 2. In particular, the insertion of the hooking means within the cartridge 2 can be performed by interlocking the rod 15 and pins 16, the latter may have a flexibility for driving and extraction force. Said hooking means can also be adapted to any cartridge diameter 2, through elastic pins 16 or flexible material, or by the removable rod 15, each cartridge size 2 having a rod 15 and pins 16 of dedicated dimensions. Another essential feature of the invention lies in the projection of the washing fluid so as to rotate said cartridge 2. In fact, the invention eliminates the use of a motorization by orienting the jet of fluid by relative to the cartridge 2 tangentially to its outer or inner wall. Said cartridge 2 being free mounted on said rotary plate 12, the jet of fluid causes its rotation. To do this, said device 1 comprises, connected to said inlet 10, at least one projection nozzle of said washing fluid. Advantageously, said nozzle is mounted inside said enclosure so as to orient the jet of projection to induce a rotational torque to said cartridge 2. In particular, said nozzle may be inclined with respect to the longitudinal median plane (defined by FIG. cutting axis A-A ') of said enclosure. In this case, the longitudinal axis C-C 'of said cartridge 2 is included in said median plane. In any event, the arrangement of the nozzle inside the enclosure is such that the projected jet strikes the outer wall of said cartridge 2 obliquely, tangentially, at a given angle allowing the setting rotation of the cartridge 2. By way of non-limiting example of the invention, the jet can be projected in the longitudinal median plane if the axis CC 'of the cartridge 2 is shifted to one side or the other of the enclosure, the outer edge of said cartridge 2 then always being tangential to the projected jet. According to the preferred embodiment, particular visible in the figures, the device 1 may comprise several types of nozzles, outer projection nozzles 17 and inner projection nozzles 18.
First, as can be seen in FIG. 3, the outer projection nozzles 17 are located inside the enclosure so as to project a jet externally to said cartridge 2, thus coming into contact with the peripheral wall of this chamber. last, always tangentially.
Said external nozzles may be distributed along a ramp 19 connected to said inlet 10. This ramp 19 is in the form of a pipe supplying the outer nozzles 17 on which they are mounted. According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, said ramp 19 is connected in the lower part to the inlet 10. It will be noted that the latter may comprise a stop valve 20 and a quick connector 21, in particular for connecting it to a hose supplying fluid or water. According to this embodiment, which is in no way limitative, the internal projection nozzles 18 have been added. These are situated inside the enclosure, but also inside the cartridge 2, at the level of the central space of the latter. Like the outer nozzles 17, the inner nozzles 18 have a jet oriented at an angle to the inner surface of said cartridge 2. This inclination makes it possible to slow down or accelerate the rotation of the cartridge 2 induced by the jet of the jet of the nozzles 17. As such, the device 1 comprises means 22 for adjusting the angle of the outer nozzles 17 and / or, independently, the inner nozzles 18. Thus, it is possible, even during cleaning, to vary the angle of inclination of each nozzle, including each of the outer nozzles 17, independently of each other, but also from each of the inner nozzles 18. In addition, said inner projection nozzles 18 and outer 17 can be oriented reciprocally from each other. on both sides of the longitudinal median plane of said enclosure, in opposite directions of projection. Thus, the jets thrown by each set of nozzles drive the cartridge 2 in the same direction of rotation.
According to another embodiment, not shown, the inner jets are projected in the same direction as the outer jets, so as to slow the rotation of the cartridge 2. According to the schematic embodiment, the inner projection nozzles 18 are provided removable. To do this, they can be connected to said inlet 10 via said ramp 19. The latter then comprises, at its end opposite to that of the connection with the inlet 10, connection means 14 with a support 23 of said inner nozzles. Such a support has an offset arm 24 complementarily formed to said connecting means 14 so as to connect sealingly with said ramp 10. The opposite end of this arm 24 receives said inner nozzles 18, mounted on a bar 26 so as to to allow their insertion in the central space of said cartridge 2.
In particular, the axis of this bar 26 may be eccentric with respect to the axis C-C 'of said cartridge 2, shifting said inner nozzles 18, to allow the projection in a tangential stream.
According to another embodiment, not shown, said inner nozzles 18 may be mounted on an integral amount of the bottom 4 and directly supplied by the inlet 10. Such an amount is then provided through said rotary plate 12. In another case, if the amount is secured to said plate 12, then the inner nozzles 18 are rotated at the same time as the cartridge 2. The cleaning device 1 according to the invention provides a cleaning of the filter cartridges 2 without direct drive, only under the tangential impulse of the spray jets of washing fluid. In addition, the cleaning obtained is faster and more efficient. Indeed, it is possible to vary the inclination of the washing nozzles, even during cleaning. These angle modifications make it possible to define different stages, with different jet angles, depending on the internal layers of the cartridge 2 to be cleaned. These settings also make it possible to direct full thrust on the outer wall of the cartridge 2, the jet projected by the outer nozzles 17, while the inner nozzles 18 rotate said cartridge 2, or vice versa. Of course, the invention is not limited to the examples illustrated and described above which may have variants and modifications without departing from the scope of the invention.
