Abstract

L'efficacité du phloroglucinol (Spasfon-lyoc 80 mg des laboratoires Céphalon) dans le traitement des toux sèches et spasmodiques est rapide, totale et définitive. La tolérance est par ailleurs excellente. Cette action thérapeutique est liée aux propriétés antispasmodiques du phloroglucinol vis-à-vis des fibres musculaires lisses. Il semble que cette molécule ait sur l'appareil respiratoire un tropisme important et un impact spécifique.

Notre invention consiste en l'utilisation du phloroglucinol dans le traitement de la toux sèche et spasmodique. Cette thérapeutique a été expérimentée sur la personne même de l'inventeur. Le phloroglucinol, ou 1,3,5-trihydroxybenzène dont la formule chimique est la suivante : OH HO OH 10
est commercialisé sous le nom de Spasfon-lyoc 80 mg par les laboratoires Céphalon. Notre découverte s'appuie sur les propriétés antispasmodiques du phloroglucinol vis-à-vis des muscles lisses.
15 Les indications thérapeutiques concernant cette molécule portaient jusqu'à présent sur le tube digestif, les voies biliaires, les voies urinaires et en gynécologie. Notre découverte est basée sur l'activité antispasmodique du phloroglucinol vis-à-vis de l'arbre respiratoire qui comporte également, 20 comme on le sait, des fibres musculaires lisses au niveau des bronches et des bronchioles. Nous avons constaté que les effets spasmolytiques du phloroglucinol sur l'appareil respiratoire étaient d'une grande efficacité et d'une spécificité certainement beaucoup plus importante que sur l'ensemble des autres 25 organes sur lesquels exercent habituellement ses effets thérapeutiques. La prise de ce médicament s'est effectuée à raison de 1 lyoc de 80mg, dose qui a été renouvelée une fois dans la journée pour un adulte de 65kg. Cette découverte est donc éminemment intéressante et permettrait d'étendre les indications thérapeutiques du phloroglucinol, lequel 30 pourrait devenir un antitussif de tout premier ordre avec une excellente efficacité et une tolérance parfaite. Aucun phénomène de rebond n'a été observé. 05

  1. Revendications1- Utilisation du phloroglucinol pour la préparation d'un médicament ayant une activité antispasmodique sur les fibres musculaires lisses de l'appareil respiratoire
  2. 2- Utilisation du phloroglucinol, selon la revendication 1, pour la 05 préparation d'un médicament possédant une action antitussive chez l'adulte
  3. 3- Utilisation du phloroglucinol, selon la revendication 1,pour la préparation d'un médicament dans le traitement des toux sèches et spasmodiques chez l'adulte 10
  4. 4- Utilisation du phloroglucinol, selon la revendication 1, par voie sublinguale
  5. 5- Utilisation du phloroglucinol, selon la revendication 1, sous forme de lyophilisat oral ( Spasfon-lyoc 80mg des laboratoires Céphalon) 15
