L'invention propose, pour ce faire, une agencement de montage d'un arbre rotatif de bras d'essuie glace sur le carter du moteur d'actionnement, le carter étant pourvu d'un orifice de passage du dit arbre, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un soufflet tubulaire flexible solidarisé au dit carter au droit du dit orifice et un dispositif d'étanchéité disposé entre ledit soufflet et ledit arbre. Le carter du moteur est généralement en matière plastique et le 30 positionnement de l'orifice et de son manchon est mal maîtrisé. Il en résulte que l'arbre monté n'est pas parfaitement coaxial au manchon et il est donc impossible de monter un simple joint d'étanchéité entre l'arbre et le manchon. Ce dispositif d'étanchéité comporte un joint torique 9 monté entre le soufflet et l'arbre grâce à une bague rigide 10, de préférence en matière plastique, supportant le joint torique 9 et emboîtée sur le soufflet 8.
