Abstract

The windscren wiper device for the rear windscreen of a vehicle comprises a wiping device 1 provided with a support structure including a tubular body 2 intended to be fixed in an opening 22 in the bodywork of the vehicle. The support structure for the wiping device 1 comprises an annular body 9 made as a single piece, in which is placed a spray nozzle 12 fixed to the annular body 2 by interlocking.

Description

WIPER DEVICE, PARTICULARLY FOR THE WINDSHIELD
REAR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The present invention relates to a wiper device
glass, especially for the rear windshield of a
çQicle automobile, and includes:
a wiping device provided with a structure
support including a tubular body for a fixed cutter

Referring to Figs., Reference 1 indicates, in
as a whole, a wiper device. The device
1 is provided, in this conventional manner, with a structure of
support including a tubular body 2 fixed to the shell of the

On the inner surface of the annular body 9 is a notch 1û (Fig. 2) into which a projecting element 11 (Fig. 1) is inserted on the outer surface of the tubular body 2. The annular body 11 has, on on one side, an integrated spray nozzle 12, having an interior chamber 13 connected to a trcu 14 parallel to the axis of the body 9. To the trcu 14 is connected the end of a supply duct 15 (Fig. 1) liquid, for cleaning the windshield. The other end of the duct 15 is connected to a small conventional tyae pump (not shown) which sends liquid under pressure to the spray nozzle 12.

 The annular body 9 is provided, on its internal surface, with a circumferential protuberance 16, which bears on the front end 5 of the tubular body 2. Above the circumferential protuberance 16, between the annular body 9 and the shaft 3 , a packing 17 is arranged. On the shaft 3 is further mounted a closing washer 18, above the annular body 9.

 The annular body Q is inserted into the inner hole of a ring seal 19. The annular body 9 is provided, on its outer surface, with a circumferential projection 20, with a sawtooth profile, which inserts into a recess of corresponding shape, provided in the liner 19. The liner 19 is provided, on its external lateral surface, with a circumferential channel 21 which is tightly wedged on the perimeter surfaces of a seat 22. In the example illustrated in FIG. 1, The seat 22 is constituted by a hole located on the outlet 23 which must be cleaned, but it could also be provided in the body of the vehicle, next to the windshield 23.

Claims (2)

1. A wiper device, in particular for the rear windshield of a motor vehicle, comprising:  a wiping device (1) provided with a support structure including a tubular body (5 intended to be fixed in an opening (22) of the vehicle body, or in an opening of said windshield (23), and a The interior of which is mounted, dobby to be able to rotate freely, a shaft (3) actuated by an electric control motor, said shaft (3) having one end (4) in which is inserted an arm () carrying a brush of 'wiping; and  - a spray nozzle (12) of washing liquid produced in said support structure of the wiping device,  characterized in that the support structure of the wiping device (1) comprises an annular part (9) in one piece, in which is located said spray nozzle 12), intended furthermore fixed, in a sealed manner, in the aforesaid opening (22) of the bodywork or of the windshield, and which is provided with means (10) making it possible to connect it by engagement, to the aforesaid tubular body (2).  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the aforesaid annular body (9) is provided, on its outer surface, with a circumferential projection (20) with a sawtooth profile which fits into a correspondingly shaped inlet located in a ring seal (19).
