Abstract

The furniture has an articulated backrest constituted of spaced bars (1) maintained at two ends by a parallel bar (9) on ground. The articulated backrest is foldable on a base (2) such that the articulated backrest is integrated into the base by hinges to form a flat surface without allowance by manual fitting of the bars. Rigid legs (5) support the base. A handle (3) is mounted at the back of a frame (8) at 45 degrees, or another handle is mounted at a lower part of the articulated backrest so as to maintain the articulated backrest at 92 degrees when the articulated backrest is unfolded.

Description

The present invention relates to a form of furniture and multiple use. It will be, depending on its width or height, a stool, a chair, a bench, a table, with a built-in backrest without any extra thickness.

Traditionally this type of furniture offers a juxtaposition of the backrest and the seat making it impossible to mix materials, and especially visible the dual function of the furniture.

The present invention proposes a mechanism that allows the rows of slats composing the backrest to fit between the slats that form the seat resulting in a flat surface combining the two groups of slats once folded, thus giving it its second table function. or sitting without a back.
